Octagon

Hey,.

I always use Ultiboard 11.0, does anyone know how to change the clearance of the Octagon to round?

Thank you!

Qi

Hi IQ,

Unfortunately, there is no realistic way to be able to do this. The only way is to draw a Dungeon of the neighborhood around the filling. The Dungeon area can be a polygon so you should do manually circular which is of course a very difficult task.

In version 12, the clearence is circular, as expected default.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Does anyone know if a right angle adapter is made for the plug of the Octagon style of 1545 charger. and where to buy?

    Hi MJNC367,

I think you are referring DC port on the system where you connect the charger plug.

Please check if the part you are talking about is the same indicated on the link below.

    http://Dell.to/1az8W7D

If it is the same part that you're talking about, there is no option available for the DC In port.

If you are referring to another component, please provide description or photo for a better understanding.

I hope this helps. Please do not hesitate to answer for any further assistance.

  • How to make a symmetrical square Octagon?

Hi I'm doing a symmetrical square Octagon as http://i905.photobucket.com/albums/ac258/larlar75/shapetest.png but I want to make a form that I can paste images completely or nearly symmetrical on both sides and I was just wondering if it's even possible? Using the Lasso Polygonal is a pain to use, which is what I did for this photo and then I just copied that side he did do a 180 and flipped vertical.

Go in display/grid/and using the Pen tool draw your shape by clicking on the dots on the grid.

You can stop the process force using the background activity monitor utility. Just find the process Dock (sort the list of processes by name), or use the search box at top right, select, and then click the button exit (the icon is an 'X' in an octagon) in the upper left corner of the window of the activity monitor. It will ask if you want to make a normal Quit or force him to leave.

  • With the exception of areas in the footsteps of contour

I'm tracing data of xyz on an outline of color 2D. The data xy maps the coordinates of octagon-shaped position, can I get the limited trace of contours so I don't get a rectangular output? Or can I exclude/clip an area after the fact?

    Hi gpburdell,

If you use the "characteristic diagram" in the REPORT or the 'Contour' display in the VIEW, you just need to look in this configuration on the tab "Limit curve" dialog box and configure the non-rectangular 3D surface base.  For another display 3D surface types to REPORT, you must run the ANALYSIS work 'Calculate envelope curves' to apply the non-rectangular base.

  • BIOS update fails (SoftPaq sp59792, version F.53Ap01)

HP Support Assistant on my taskbar keeps telling me "significant action".

The important action is an update of the BIOS (SoftPaq sp59792, version F.53Ap01). I have taken the following steps several times, but the "Important action necessary" message remains the same after each reboot.

    • Open the Support Wizard, where the BIOS update is selected.
    • Click Download and install the selected updates.
    • The update runs and green check marks appear for the next steps in the update: creating a restore point, check the available disk space, connecting to the servers of HP and download.
    • There is no checkmark for the installation step. Instead, there is a white octagonal grey icon with an X.
    • In addition, nothing happens, but the next button is enabled.
    • I click Next and went back to the list of updates.
    • The same update is still selected.
    • I click to see the details of the update, where the message must include a statement that a restart is required to complete the installation.
    • I reboot.
    • HP Support Assistant says still "significant action".

Really need this update of the BIOS, and if so how can I install?

My computer is a HP Pavilion notebook g7. Operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate, SP1.

    Thank you.

There is no need to update the BIOS. Cann get rid you of the message by going to the Wizard Support HP and right of the download arrow there is an x. Click to refuse the recommended update. This will not damage anything.

Unless there is a real reason for updating a BIOS version or any driver and everything works then, there is no need to update.

I am trying to download Adobe Acrobat DC.  Download hangs at 35%, and I get a message that says that I should quit - safariXXXXX.  The Safari browser does not work when I get this message.  I don't know what the problem is.  I thought that maybe someone else here has had the same problem and could help.

I have an iMac that is around the age of 5 months.  It is a 5 k of the retina.  I'm running OS X 10.10.2

    Any help appreciated... Thank you.

This is akin to Acrobat XI Pro install asking for ' Please close the following application to continue: 'SafariNotific' '

You can either turn Off Safari Push Notification in Safari > Preferences > Notifications.

    Or

Go to "Activity Monitor" (Application > utilities > Activity Monitor) and find a Safari Notifications process. Select it and kill it by pressing octagon shaped button x.

  • How can we create forms in Muse?

We want to create a page with a view of the forms of Octagon. An example: in 1 Octagon, we want a photo and when you move your mouse over it, it's displayed text. Can you help us?

I'm afraid that the "hot spot" areas of a rollover image, essentially the form of box containing them, are glued in square or rectangular. I don't think that there is a way around this, at least not in the Muse. Someone roll their mouse over one of the invisible corners of an octagon form will trigger the rollover image to appear. The only way I can think around it is a smaller box to 'trigger' inside the Octagon to trigger changes in a slide show or a composition of nesting widget. The disadvantage of this approach is a part of the Octagon shape will be dead; only the Center would be active.

  • bizarre distortion of the shapes when the increase of the weight of the race in illustrator

In Illustrator CS6, when I increase the weight of the race of an object - for example an Octagon, as I increase the weight of the race, the object deforms more. What is the reason for this and how can I stop it from happening? This is a common problem I've met several times now. It is very annoying.

Turn off the infernal Snap To Pixel Grid option for the object. Also disable it for new objects.

  • Changing the shape of several frames

I created several frames, using the tool polygon framework, in the form of octagons. Is it possible for me to change all the boxes? Even a change by one would be fine with me, I don't want to have to recreate all of them from scratch.

    Thank you!

It's easy. Select them all and choose object > convert shape > Rectangle.

  • Setting levels of ink for newspaper in Photoshop

I have a number of images, the goal will be for use in publications of the journal. I learn to adjust the images (color and grayscale) for the printing features web, which mainly involves the desity ink to 240% down and making it point max on a mono color 80%, which includes the images in grayscale. My question is what is the best way to account for this. I converted the images using the specific profiles that adjust for this in Photoshop, but in some cases, more precisely in grayscale images, I have one more point over 80%. It would be correct that I should go back and draw the color manually (with curves) to adjust the 20%, or Photoshop does something with the profile that I use to convert that takes care of this?

    The Octagon wrote:

Do color conversion seems to work very well, but the levels of gray is where I'm still having a problem. I had a CMYK image, set my profile to grayscale for fattening of 20% and after conversion, I still see on a 95% point in the darker areas. I think what confuses me is that Photoshop adjusts the appearace of the image to reflect a fattening of 20%. Does this mean that when I converted my profile that the values that I find both are earning points has occurred? If I find a point of 74%, it really was 54%? I put a sampling of color on a spot which read to 94%. When I went from the profiles to a point 30% of gain, the number rose to 88%. -What is sense?

Dot readings that you reflect the value true file.

When you convert Photoshop gray tries to preserve the appearance of the brightness. 10 fattening and fattening 30 reflect different print conditions, but they appear very similar to the screen. But the 30 fewer than the 10 ink coverage. Photoshop is trying to explain further in the case of print 30 gain, while the images appear identical, but in fact they are not the same. To check ink coverage go to filter: blur: average. You will see that a 10 point gain actually has more coverage than a gain of 30 points.

All that being said, I don't know why you would need a limit of 80 ink on shades of gray. My guess would be 95. You can do this with a simple curve and shoot 100% downwards until you reach the desired level of ink in the shadow areas. You can even make the curve of a nondestructive adjustment layer.

It is sometimes difficult to find the darkest area. In a grayscale image's levels. Hold down the option key and drag from left to right. The parts of the image that begin to appear are your very dark areas.

For the newspaper halftones, in addition to the cover of the shadow's 1/4 and in the middle of gain. This area makes a lot on a rotating and the stock of newsprint. The values here flatten as they go to 3/4 and the image turns into mud. Sometimes 3/4 lock and slide down the 1/4 of your help, it's something like a curve in s with a restraint on the shadows. You could even incorporate this with your dot boundary curve, so just a curve. Highlights may suffer but they will suffer in all cases, stock journal is grey after all.

One profile, I use sometimes is called identity of Gray. You will not it, but all you have to do to simulate ink coverage is going to Lab mode, select the L channel, and then go grayscale. This retrieves the L channel and the poster with your gray working. If your grey work is not the grey journal, then perform a convert to profile to the grey of the newspaper. The appearance of the image on the screen will stay the same, but the file numbers will adjust for the higher gain of the newspaper printing condition.

Sharpness is instrumental in the halftone good newspaper too. Who comes last, after all the curve adjustment. Sharpness may push up of ink from the ink values for small edges, but that's what you want. You don't want to destroy with curves after sharpening.

  • How to create duplicates in place

I have an image in grayscale with an octagon at the Center and a rectangle identical radiating out of each flat side of the Octagon.  Is there a simple way to do this in Illustrator CS4?  I did my Octagon.  Then added a rectangle position along one side.  I dragged the rotation point of the rectangle in the center of the Octagon, and I can now rotate this rectangle of 45 degrees each time to move my Octagon.  Don't know how to leave a copy of each rectangle in place, however.  Regular Paste gives just a new rectangle back to the Center.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

    Method 2:

If you go through the "Rotate" dialog box and click the button 'Copy', then you repeat copy Rotation using the shortcut of command/CTRL + D.
