• Oddity with Active Directory?

  I have problems with the AD.  My environment is a hybrid of Server 2003 in place with several domain controllers.  Whats happening is when a user, regardless of the PC operating system, will open a file on a share on the network, it is impossible to open the folder or list on; is a partial list of their records.  The strangeness comes here: if they go through the computer or post work and access to their folder with the drive listed, complete will appear (sometimes the PC must be restarted and after performing the "fix").  Now, when the user goes in to open a file via Office or a shortcut to the most complete list appears or in the case by using a shortcut, the file opens.  Also, before making the fix mentioned, databases (SQL and owner) do not work.  PC operating systems are mostly XP and Windows 7.   The PC will behave as if it is not connected to the network, even if it is good because the user can use the mail and the Internet. Is it perhaps an ACL problem or something else?  In 18 years, I never seen this type of behavior network/PC...

  Any help or an explanation of what is going on would be very appreciated.

• Oddity with previews - CC2015

  Since the update, I noticed a few weird things with previews.

  1. I have my updated guides to grey clear and points. Implement mode everything is fine. But in preview mode all the guides became lines, making it almost impossible to see in action. Yes, I can turn them off, but I've never had to do before. To more than 180% zoom levels, they turn their backs on the points.

  2. traits also seem to be strange. If I draw a box with a race of PT. 1, the horizontal and vertical will be different according to the survey. Sometimes, the horizontal line will look like it's a hairline, then vice versa. There is also a problem with the corners of the boxes (of calls) simply disappearing. I also checked align it on the pixel grid and that seems to have little or no effect. It also seems to be a problem if it is a print or web document.

  The issue should be resolved with the new patch/update, 19.1 (which gives you 2015.1 CC), which should solve known issues unresolved with 19.0.1, who had to deal with issues GPU and a few others...

  The dotted line represents the printable area (determined by the specified printer). Your can hide the line by choosing View > hide print tiling.

• Oddity with Safari...

  OK, so I was rummaging round under the hood this morning, trying to find a solution for a bug. I was happy that the changes I made had not been saved, that I had no permission to the account I was using.

  In any case, clearly I was not careful enough. The area of the main Web page of Safari on * most * sites that I use now has a strange orange overlay.

  

  When it fails, it is not always immediately. When I started this post, for example, Web site and active area were as usual. It's only when I added the image above that the orange overlay appeared - in this case only in the area.

  If anyone has advice on how I did this, or any idea how to return things to normal, I would be very grateful.

  Found the problem.

  Debug > Debug overlays > drop-down area not dyed.

  This had been checked. Unchecking it returned everything to normal. Yay.

• Oddity with set-hard drive - storageformat?

  I'm trying to move individual disks of virtual machine based on their data store, regardless of what that VM that they are attached to.  I can give a larger image of my task if requested, but I'm not sure its relevant.

  When I get the disk object in the pipeline to Get-data store:

  When a hard drive is directly extracted from a data store, there is insufficient information to determine whether or not it is attached to a virtual machine. And for drives that are not attached to a virtual machine we do not support changing the storage format. You must retrieve the disks of virtual machines to do this.

  In 11.1.1.6, I noticed another oddity with FSP who may be your problem.

  Rather than change the rule to store file by default for storage in the database, change the rule named "DispByContentId" and set it to use the database storage.

  11.1.1.6 uses this 'default' rule instead of the so-called 'real' default value rule. (Yes, it should be filed as a bug).

• Possible oddity of navigation with projects

  I had a few projects as possible clinging and discovered a quirk in the navigation. I wanted to see if anyone knew if there is a difficulty, or if it's just the average Captivate works.
  
  The last slide in a project contains a field for entering text that students are supposed to fill and press ENTER, or click Save to and then the project forward for the next project. He sails very well if the student meets the text input field and the product. BUT if they are just paging by using the arrow button next navigation bar, it will not advance beyond the text slide. (This project is in part based on the references, so they could just be paginated (Browse) to get to the page they want.)

• WiFi problem with iPad 4 on first generation Airport Express

  Bad problem with iPad 4 / iOS9. It seems that it is connected to the wifi (my old airport express of first-generation lists my iPad as a connected device and in settings of the iPad, the connection has the usual blue tick). BUT Internet works only for a few seconds after a reboot (hard) and there is no icon of wifi signal on the status bar (to keep for the first few seconds after the eboot). All other devices (iPhone 6 on ios8.2, iPad 2, two Macs and a PC) work fine on the airport express (first generation). Stranger still, when I go into a public café with wifi on the road, the iPad 4 connects no problem at the station, on the status bar and the internet works, I see the usual wifi antenna icon. Final oddity, it suddenly stopped working and no software / firmware updates between the two. As mentioned, soft and hard that it recharges don't help in saving a few seconds DNS cannot be a problem because all other devices work correctly.  I also tried to reset the network settings. It is esoteric.

  As a test, temporarily change the wireless network name and password on the AirPort Express.

• Apparent problem with OpenG Get Data Name_ogtk.vi

  The data Name_ogtk.vi Get OpenG is a function that takes a data Structure and returns the name of this structure if the Data Structure has a name.

  I use it in my Configure.vi. Configure.VI takes several data structures and saves / loads to an INI file. The name of the section in the INI file is the same as the name of the Data Structure. When loading, Configure.vi takes the name of the data structure to load and locate the Section in the INI file with the same name and then uses the items listed in the INI section to load the Data Structure with the data values.

  In my case, I have 3 sections. Two of the sections, 1 Servo and Servo 2 derive from the same Type definition. I am trying to load 3 of the attached INI file data Structure. The Config.ini in the system file has been generated by the backup function Configure.vi. I'm passing in the routine of the load, 3 Data Structures, each with unique names. I have an explicit call to get the data for Servo 1 Name.vi and 2 Servo. But the probes on the output of the Name.vi of data values get two return to the same 'Servo 1' same string if sensors on the Structure of data entries that clearly indicate them the unique names of the "Servo 1" and "Servo 2" respectively.

  It seems that the 2nd Get data name returns the name of the Data Structure 1 by mistake. If anyone can check this?

  I was able to reproduce it and I show here as an oddity to force entry to the variant on the primitive flat string Variant.

  Basically, if you have more than one cluster with content command to match the type and order wired directly to this function, it returns the flattened string which is first to each call.  The wires must be wired without before converting to alternative, if you have points of constraint.

  This only happens if you feed directly the input varying both and get the stress points.  If you are using a variant is not the case.

  I found that this occurs if the cluster is of type defined, and it does not occur for constants.  I didn't try other controls.  I'll be honest, I'm usually used to constrain to the Variant.  I'll be more careful in the future!

  This is my first time on this forum so bear with my ignorance!  I'll expose the background of my setup and then explain the error.

  We have a small business with a server running SBS2011 and PC running Windows 8 and 8.1 connected to the server in a domain environment.

  We use a CRM product called Emu Tall that uses SQL Server 2008 R2 on the server for the database and the PC run a local application that connects to this database.

  On a daily basis, but completely randomly and sometimes several times a day, a user will try and open the application on a PC and get the following error message.

  Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.SqlEnum, Version = 10.0.0.0, Culture = neutral, PublicKeyToken = 89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the specified file.

  At first, I thought it must be a matter of waiting time as it seemed to happen every morning, but I've proved since that it occurs at any time of the day and is apparently unrelated to amount of users or idle time or something like that.

  Here's another oddity that hopefully sheds some light on it. If I go to the server and open the CRM application on the server, it works very well since it is only the PC that have the connection problem.  In addition, as soon as I connected to the server of any PC can connect immediately (until it happens again later in the day).  I don't need to stay connected to the server, connect one time and close the session and he "fixed" it for a few hours for all PC users.

  I contacted the CRM vendor, and they are completely confused and have no idea what to do.

• With a file (Search Enhancement Pak) window when I run Virtual XP on my computer. How can I stop it?

  It started yesterday, 11/30/11 and since the file is part of Windows Live Essentials, I uninstalled and reinstalled without toolbar that contains SEARCH ENHANCEMENT PAck.  He still appears on reboot in this window.  Since it's virtual XP, I am limited in what I can do.  Other than this oddity, Virtual XP still works as before and I can close this window every time I connect.  What else can I do to get rid of this problem?

• "no audio device not detected" with the other oddities

  I'm a form of error message 'no audio device detected' each time than trying to use a program with sound.  ITunes, for example, says "Itunes has detected a problem with your sound configuration."  No sound works on the computer at all.  I have a dell Inspiron E1505 with I think it's the integrated audio system.  I tried to reinstall the drivers and that sound showcases are activated and similar these fixes.  Another oddity: sometimes my laptop speakers do weird sounds like it is a kind of bad connection inside, but I opened the computer to check and nothing seems to be wrong.  In addition, once a week ago, I turned on the computer and everything works fine until I closed the computer and opened again to find nothing works again.  Ideas?

• Problems with e250 and SD memory card?

  I have my sansa for a year and a half, and I have never had any major problems with it so far.  Recently, I had to remove the songs to put on the new songs due to lack of memory, so I decided to buy a memory card for it.  Getting the empty memory card I inserted and recognized my drive and everything was fine.  The problems started when I put songs on the memory card.

  I put my player in MSC mode (as indicated in the manual), it is hooked to my computer (windows XP), and everything was fine.  I used windows media player to synchronize music on the memory card, then picked up my drive.  It is restarted, as he should, and I went to listen to music I would put right on and yet once again, it was fine.  Then, I wanted to listen to my music, and he flipped out on me and wouldn't let me play it.  After determining that it was not just this song, I removed the memory card and tried to play the old music, but he would always let me.  A small red box saying 'Wrong way' just kept popping up.

  I decided to start over, so I have deleted all of the player (via the computer) and then attempted to deliver music on.  I tried a few songs, sync and play the two media of windows and my computer says that the songs were on the player.  To get the player from the computer, I went to "songs" and saw that it was always empty.  I hung up, and the computer says that these songs are on the player.

  In a nutshell: my computer says it is synchronization of the songs to the player, but in reality, it isn't.  This has only started to happen after I had the memory card.

  I don't think that Windows Media Player will work in players v1 in MSC mode. It must be in MTP mode for WMP to recognize. In addition, with the cards in players v1, you HAVE to add/remove music in MSC mode only by drag and drop from your computer to the card (read as a drive in Windows Explorer). You have to treat the reader and the card as the "separate entities", even if physically they are connected. Once music is on the map, the player will fit perfectly on both songs.

  In what concerns the "bad tracks", you need to run CHKDSK to repair corrupt files, so you can remove them properly. Answer NO when it asks you if you want to save the files "bad strings" (or something like that). Check the 'sticky' & the FAQ at the top of the body for specific instructions on running CHKDSK. While you're at it, also check out & play on your player of formatting, as you should probably next to you to go to a clean slate.

  I believe that files (songs) put on using WMP in MTP mode can ONLY be played in this mode, and MSC placed files using drag ' drop can be read in THAT mode, which can be part of your problem. Probably best to start fresh and then don't forget you must manually put the songs on the map in MSC mode.

  Another oddity of SD cards (at least with players of v1) is that you must also manually add the 'album art' to the file containing the music if you want to see the album art that song. With WMP and MTP mode on the player, it will play the album art embedded in the ID3tag. It will not do this on the SD card . You can see specific instructions on how to do it here.   Your code is infinitely loop to read the events? The response of purchase may not be the first back, if you read you the event once after the purchase is attempted then it would make sense that the event is so lost.
