OE XP to 8.1

I need answers from the line. I just got a HP Pavilion 500-217 with Win 8.1. Not really wanting to do this because my multimedia computer with XP pro has been terrible for years and just at the moment where I get everything goes perfectly, I said me XP ends (Thanks much BG) and I have to buy something else. So here I am.

OK, so maybe it is better that I had a HP which is faster, more memory, more storage, etc., but I have tons of data and email that I can not use the HP unless and until I can move it all intact of XP for Hp. I know I can't migrate my files, addresses, email accounts 5 directly in Outlook Express because 8.1 does not OE use. But I need to keep (as possible) all my accuracy of e-mail on file identity, address and account data and information that I have accumulated ten years... and that's a lot.

I don't understand how this is possible. For example my DSL internet provider has my 5 accounts registered OE [email protected]. How the hell can I create 5 new accounts in my HP to replace 8.1 or mirrored accounts so that I do not lose data and identity and do not have to inform hundreds of contacts that I have new addresses in MS Outlook account or something else? I see things on the web to create a new account in Outlook, but how is it that is related to my 5 OE identities and records?  I hope there are a lot of XP babies like me out there who have good answers for me and thank you in advance. And no thanks to BG you $% & * @# () ^ % $!

I don't know the limit the number of accounts, but I have put 6 in place on my Thunderbird.  In fact, if you wish, set up each account in Thunderbird, one at a time instead of trying to import, and then once they are up and working, that you want to import.  Installation is very easy and she's going to tell what to do, or it can be automated.  Try first.

BTW: your provider to not know or care what client software that you use.
