  My brothers and I built a gaming PC, and I have a question of a Windows 7 operating system license, we bought. In 2014, we bought an OEM Windows 7 on Ebay that came as a Dell reinstallation DVD and an OEM unused license key (which worked correctly). We have installed on our PC, but we did not activate the BONE to what we decided to upgrade to windows 10 via free update of Microsoft.

  Yes, I know that XP is old and is no longer supported. It is a laboratory machine for transferring files from IDE drives.

  If you buy Windows OEM Svr 2012 you can downgrade your OS to 2008 R2 2008.

  To downgrade, you have need to acquire Windows Svr 2008 Media and product key. Use the same media install and reach the local MS Activation Center indicating that you want to downgrade Windows Svr 2012 for 2008.

• Can I transfer my OEM license on another computer and throwing away the old pc?

  I have 2 old PC without any hardware in them with the product key OEM on top. I want to be legal even with not having not the money to keep buying more licenses just to stay legal. I transfer these keys on my computer principal in VMS (Virtual Machines) and used to test and evaluate and be legal or licensing die with these computers? If they do not die with these computers, just buy equipment for computers to bring back to life? I want that some virtual machines to evaluate/test/etc. Also, I believe I read that even installing the same licenses on computer 2 times (partitions) is illegal? How can this be good?   A Windows OEM license cannot be transferred to another computer.  A virtual machine is considered to be a computer.  In addition, you can only install and activate one 1 copy of Windows on a single

  Every year I buy instrumentation include a licensed OEM Windows operating system.   Regular maintenance lab at my installation implies historically harddrive cloning to create identical machines for identical seasons when new provider driver/tools are available.

  Until this year, our instruments of the seller have all come with the same OEM Win7 Pro, facilities so we have followed carefully what licenses went with what instruments, but were easily able to quickly deploy updates string tool by doing a manual installation & validation process 1 x and then 'cloning' around the laboratory to wear all the benches in accordance.

  The most recent instruments, we bought provider now include OEM Win7 built-in instead of "Win7 pro" our concern is that now our current model of 'cloning' will not work, because we have a pool of # win7 pro licenses and a pool of win7 # Embedded licenses.

  Satellite M70 is old but good laptop and with the new drive HARD and clean OS preinstalled, it should work well. I had it a long time ago and if I m remembering well there connector SATA HDD SATA HDD can be used.

  I think 750GB can be too much and I don t know if it will work OK. Used mine M70 with 320 GB of HARD drive.

  You can use the original picture but if I m remembering well that old book has been delivered with the recovery disk (WXP Home) and I put t know what you have created.

  As far as I know, the license of the sticker belongs to the recovery image and you cannot use it for the activation of the operating system. If you use original recovery DVD that you got with your laptop you don t need. preloaded will be activated automatically.

It is authentic, with the box, blank discs, printed cards and hologram. But the OEM license is rejected.   I'm trying to get in the renovation of the PC company and sell them on ebay.  My plan is to buy a PC with windows coa already on them.  Most of the PCs that I buy to resell will not include the installation media.  If my thought was to buy a windows XP OEM disc and use it on all the computers I buy already having licensed OEM XP pro on them.  Is this ok?  I saw that in order for OEM be used bye other people, you must include the original installation media.  Given that I've never had the installation media is allowed to sell?  Most computers do not even come with installation disks, done is the result of the rule that when you're selling a used computer the next owner should buy windows again?  That would not make sense.

  You can also use this method.

  You do not have a Vista disc that came with the computer to reinstall with, you should have a recovery Partition to do.

  Here is the HP Compaq information on how to use the recovery partition to put your computer in a new State.

  You press F11 at startup or through their Recovery Manager.
