Of rear projection Sony TV KDF-55E2000 mod.

I replaced the bulb and it still has 3 "pink stripe on the top of the screen.  The color is vivid the exception. Anyone know how to get rid of the pink stripe?

  • Sony KDF-55E2000 turn off and on itself

I have a Sony KDF-55E2000 who goes out, then back, without any input from me. The power light on the front of the TV flashes green while he's back back, like it normally does when the TV is turned on. No other lights are flashing. Is the power light blinking is not indicative of a problem typical, as indicated in the manual.

I already contacted Sony support, but was unable to get any useful information (answer: repair). I did a power reset and restored to factory default settings, but that didn't help. What other issues may be the cause of this behavior? I'm comfortable open TV on mine and replacement of parts, as long as I have a small idea of what I should look for.

I replaced the lamp once since the purchase of the TV. I replaced the lamp in January 2010. Until I replaced the lamp, at the front of the TV lights blinked in the expected color and style specified in the manual. Of course, this was not the case this time. I didn't open the door to the lamp for replacement of the lamp 5 years ago. Other problems potential I can guess are dust build-up causing overheating, one several fans at default, the sensor of the lamp or lamp door sensor is going bad, the pilot/ballast lamp goes wrong, or the lamp itself is bad. The problem is the behavior I see with the power light does not seem to correspond with these problems. Does anyone think any of these potential problems could be past based on the behavior I'm reports? Is there something else that could be and I could look?

Thank you very much for the help.

    Matt

Quick update: I bought a new lamp, installed, and everything looks great again. If that didn't work, I wasn't going to get it fixed. It just was not worth it financially. It would have been better to put the money in a new TV. But, we'll see how long I can keep this going with lamps. Thanks for the suggestions of George.

  • I have a Sony KP-61HS10 rear projection TV. No picture and the STAND BY indicator blinks 4 times

I have a Sony KP-61HS10 rear projection TV.  No picture and the STAND BY indicator blinks 4 times. Is there a simple fix for this problem?

Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the TV.

    1 turn off the TV.
    2. unplug the power cord of the TV from the power outlet.
    3. let the TV remain without power for 60 seconds.
4 plug the power cord into the power outlet. (If the TV is connected to a surge protector or power strip, protector he remove the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet.) If the problem is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not television.)
    5. turn on the TV.

If the problem is still not resolved after following the steps above, it is perhaps an indication that the TV is for the service. Please use this link to locate the nearest authorized Sony service center in your area.

  • Why the Sony A7 in M mode only-2 or + 2 in the light meter, not give up to the - 5 or + 5

IM starting to expand my skills for photo shooting more and as much as I can using the Mr. I realized that the light meter will typically from-5 to + 5. During shooting in mode M, the indicator does move to the number of +-2 position, so between-2 and -5, + 2 or + 5 indicator disappears. Is it a setting or feature that I missed, seems to be a waste if I can't really control the complete appearance in M mode.

    Hi wesleyhall08,

Welcome to the community of Sony!

When shooting in M mode, the meter that you are related to the is the manual counter, which is located in the lower center of the screen between opening and ISO. This watch-2 or + 2 only and normally will blink to let you know if the picture you take is already underexpose or overexpose. He's not going to-5 or + 5 and it's normal.

When shooting in other modes as a mode or S on the other hand, this light meter becomes exposure value. This means that you can change the exposure of the image by changing the value and it will-5 to + 5. Note that when you press the Fn key and change the value of exposure it allows you to move from-5 to + 5. But when the camera is set to M mode and you press the Fn key, notice that the EV is changed in MM and is grayed out choices. This means that you will meter the camera manually by adjusting the shutter speed and aperture. The MM or meter manual serves as a guide to whether the exhibition is balance, underexpose or overexpose when you use mode 0 M. you gives a balanced exposure, -1-2 gives you underexposed and + 2 + 1 gives you over-exposed image. + 2 flashes, this means that the image is overexposing way and if it flashes-2, it means that the images is much too dark.

  • Replacement of the lamp in KDF-55E2000 photo now has colored horizontal bands

I just replaced the lamp on my Sony TV LCD projection. The image now has a red horizontal stripe on the top of the screen and a bit of a blue horizontal stripe along the bottom. I pulled the lamp and checked for cleanliness, all verified = ontra ava areas checked did so, etc., but I can't figure out how to make the bands disappear. Any ideas?

If this is true, it seems odd. My optical block was going well until the very moment where I changed the bulb? I don't know what an optical block is or whether or not it is an expensive solution. Can you help me a little?

  • HP Envy 7645: Econo mode with 7645 envy?

With my HP laserjet P1102w printer, I have a "EconoMode" framework that uses something like 80% only of the ink that the normal print setting would be. I looked in properties of printer for my 7645 desire and have not seen something like this. I found some parameters of quality with three options: draft, normal and best.

These settings relate to how much ink is used on each printed page? Or is there something else?

  • L7590 Black Print Missing tapes project and Normal but no better way

Problems with black project and print in normal mode for L7590 model CB821A.   After the printer has been turned off for about a month and then switched back, began to have horizontal bands across the exit who did not text/image, which should have been printed in black when printing in draft or Normal print quality.  Black okay impression is better quality.  "Logically the black output appears as if printed in approximately 7/8" wide sections/blocks on the page where the last 1/16 "(bottom) of each section is missing a release which should have been printed in black.  See assessment below one hatched filled printed image print black lines - i.e. the white strips between the blocks are portions of output that was not printed (but should be).  The problem occurs for the black out in draft or normal quality: the entire image without lack of bands is printed if black best quality mode is selected the problem appears only for ink black/output.  Output color (all three color cartridges) doesn't include any missing tapes for any mode of output quality (draft, normal or best).  Except where the output on the page aligns with the missing 1/16 "areas/bands, a diagnostic page is OK, print quality running print head alignment, calibration of jump line and cleaning of the printheads (several times) has no effect (fix) the printing problem.  Also to install a new Black XL cartridge does not change/fix anything.  Any idea on what to do to solve the problem?  Oh and also when making black copies of the production of documents in the printed copy of the document is lack as the black print in bands through the page at least that the best quality copy is selected.

    Hi Sunshyn2005,

Thanks for the reply.  I had already seen and tried things in the link streaks of ink, fixing faded prints and other common print quality problems without any noticeable change in the sysmptoms of the problem.  Not knowing the logic of printing in detail the process, I was hesitant to assume that the problem was due to a print head (related as good) without knowing with certainty that if she could be the cause of the problem.  I had also seen the link following re manually cleaning/replacement of the print heads, etc. to:

    ""http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01446637 " "

Given no other definitive solutions, I pulled the Black/Yellow Printhead, cleaned the mechanical contacts (even if they appear dirty) and reinstalled print head.  After that hard restart of the process, the printing problem looked pretty much the same, but I used the printer console to clean the print head, align the print head and calibrated the line break.  Note that focus 3 on the print quality Diagnostics printout showed areas in white/white near the arrows, but unprinted areas also appeared on each 7/8 "in the set/bottom of the full page and calibrations of previous line break had not changed was not clear if the blank spaces seen were really due to power problems line.

In any case, I noticed in successive test prints, that no printed space has changed a little bit stable after things after replacing the print head and of cleaning and calibrate things.   After still print tests (change in volume of ink, paint, modes of quality, margins, etc) portions of unprinted line (~7/8' down the entire page) began to shrink.  After having used the services of printer to do about cleaning printhead plus 4-5, 3-4 alignments print head, line 11 or if several calibrations break line and a lot of printing of tests between the two, non-printed portions have been reduced in height for only the width of a couple very ink drops (project or normal mode; no unprinted areas in don't best way).

Thus even if the problem persists, it has been barely perceptible.  At this point, I'll just keep feeling and see if things eventually clear up all the way.  Maybe I'll try an inexpensive refurbished printhead later if things do not completely delete (to prove it fixed / improves things before buying a new expensive).  Note that at this point sight 3 to print the print quality Diagnostics always shows a notable, but very light gap point arrows (with a magnifying glass you can see it is not completely empty, but contains scattered points of ink and the gap is only a point or two high).

So... maybe the printing problem is actually "fixed" - at least it is enough now usable for the print project routine / normal for most cases.

  • Rename project files

So it's not so much a question as a pet peeve that really doesn't make sense to me.

Only in Premiere Pro, when you rename something enter > {rename the project file} > ENTER

He jumps down to the project file as if you need to rename this one also. As much as I know there is no other apps with this Protocol.

So, why only in first? Is it possible to change this default? I have dealt with this for years and have finally had it!

    #FirstWorldProblems #PetPeeve

I can't speak for other software, but I can tell you that this is a feature in Premiere Pro that I find very useful when I'm batch renaming clips. If your project Panel is in icon Mode, then 'return' will cause the Premiere Pro lock your changes and move to the next clip below that which you have been renamed, from top to bottom, left to right cycling. By pressing Tab will rename left to right, cycling up and down. Hold down the SHIFT key will reverse the direction. In list view, it will simply select the next clip below.

However, if you want to change this behavior, you can create a new keyboard layout with Edition > keyboard shortcuts (or first Pro CC > Mac OS keyboard shortcuts), scroll down to the section panels, twirling down the section of the project Panel and remove the mappings "Return', 'shift + return", "Tab" and "Shift + Tab".
