  When you say "change settings in both accounts' exactly what are the parameters what do you mean?  It is normal that many Windows settings to be on a per user basis.  For example. the desktop background is a 'definition' which is completely independent for each user.  You cannot set up a wallpaper for a user and hope that it displays desktop of another user.

  I see no success.  JavaScript still works when a page using CFHEADER and CFCONTENT?

  I can't even a simple JS alert() to work.

  I still have the same problem as John.  I tried all the remedies, including this Court, but nothing seems to work.   Family Safety blocks even MS Word.

  I have not tried the suggestion of Winston to remove all files for the parental control settings again. Did you?

  In short, this is what I tried in the place, which seems to have helped:

  In the admin account, I opened the dialog box to manage parental controls for a child's account settings. Then clicking on the link to the installer apps are allowed. I chose "X can only use apps that I leave" and then at the bottom right you click the box 'disable all' to deselect all applications.

  I have logged on to the child's account, then launched the word and allowed him ("my mother is here... ") before any other apps or background allowing deals who wanted permission to run. Launched Word then OK. Then, in various other applications were to be used and popped up, I allowed, too. It's annoying because it meant a lot of Bing and type the admin password for everything that I wanted to use or that runs in the background, but seems not have allowed Word to run again.

  This could end up being identical to what Winston has proposed (by deleting all files, effectively erasing all parameters). I'll see how it goes. Let us know if you try it.

  By your post, I see that you still have problems printing from office 2013. I would really like to be able to help solve this problem.

  1. Open the Start screen (by selecting the windows start button in the lower left corner or by selecting the "Windows" button at the bottom left of your keyboard to the left of the 'Ctrl' key.
  2. In the start screen, type "devices and printers".
  3. If the option devices and printers automatically fills, click settings at the top right and then click on devices and printers.
  4. In the devices and printers folder by right clicking on your Deskjet 2542 and left click on printer properties.
  5. Left click on the Advanced tab.
  6. Left click on new driver.
  7. When the new window driver opens just hit 'next' until you see a list of manufacturers on the left and a list of Printers on the right.
  8. Select HP as the manufacturer on the left.
  9. DeskJet 9800 select the printer on the right. If Deskjet 9800 is only select "Windows Update" at the bottom left and once the update has been completed, you will be able to select Deskjet 9800.
  10. After selecting Deskjet 9800 hit next complete the new driver Wizard.
  11. Under the printer properties window, select 'Apply' but do not hit OK.
  12. Select the general tab.
  13. Rename your printer HP Deskjet 2542.
      
  14. Hit OK.
  15. Finally, right click on your 2542 Deskjet one more time and left click on Printing Preferences.
  16. Left click on the paper/quality tab.
  17. Left click on the drop down menu 'Normal' for the print quality on the bottom right and change that to fast Normal.
  18. Press apply and OK.
  19. Then try to print from Notepad or Word.

  Here are the thoughts that go into my head when I choose between a table of rules in Word and a rules table in Excel:

  * If it's a relatively simple logic that can perfectly be expressed in a Word table, I have an appointment with the word. I find the Word easier to work with, and so I use it unless there is a good reason otherwise.

  * A major difference between the tables of Word and Excel, is that you can have several conclusions in an Excel table (with several columns of the conclusion of a table), whereas with Word tables you can have a conclusion by table. If my logic is such that I want to have several conclusions based on the same conditions, so I usually go with Excel.

  * I would look to the source for guidance material as well. If the material is expressed as a table (especially if the table is too complex for an array of Word), then I would tend to go with Excel.

  * If the logic can be expressed more concisely in an Excel table, then I would usually choose Excel. For example, if he would take the 2 pages of rules of Word to express the logic, as opposed to a concise 1 / / 2 screen Excel table, then I would probably choose Excel.
