  • Microsoft Office Professional 2007 installs each time

I bought Office Professional 2007 and installed on my Dell laptop.  Whenever I start one of the Office products, I get the message "preparing to install" then "Please wait while Windows configures Office Professional 2007". "  I uninstalled all Office products and computer, then re-installed Office.  Still the same problem. It's frustrating.  Any ideas how to fix?

    Hello world.

First of all, through qualification, I am a gifted amateur with no great levels of knowledge of MS, but someone with some experience of this problem.

I had a similar problem with MS Office Small Business 2007 on a Dell Studio 1555 laptop.

In the end, after much trial and error, we have deleted the version of MS Works, which comes pre-installed on Dell laptops and the "Please wait while Windows configures Office Small Business 2007" stop immediately appear.

The other interesting behavior was that when I chose one of the Office applications that Dell people call the "dock" - a contextual menu usually located at the top of the screen: the message set up never appeared.

Yesterday, I installed Office 2007 SP2 and the message reappeared. Once more, the message appears only if I try and open the Office application in the start menu, quick launch or desktop. If I select the Office application from the dock, it works normally.

So my suggestion as a short-term solution until that Dell and Microsoft are working on the problem:

    * Uninstall SP2 if cela which caused the problem
    * Remove MS Works if it is still on your Dell PC
    * Try to select the Office application from the dock instead of start menu, desktop or quick launch area

    Hope that helps someone!

  • My product key is partially missing. I had to have my reconfigured computer and need to reinstall Office Professional 2007 as soon as possible. Any ideas?

I desperately need to know how to get the rest of my product-part of it has rubbed off.  I had to reconfigure my computer and must be able to use the Office Professional 2007 I already have.  Please notify.  Thank you!  Best regards, reverie Escobedo

    Hello

You don't tell us HOW you re-set up your computer.

This is how you would normally do if you can read is no longer the product key on the COA sticker on the case.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

The methods above resettlement generally do not require allows you to provide a product key during Installation, the recovery process uses the Installation product key factory to activate automatically during the resettlement process.

    See you soon.

  • Office Professional 2007 - unrecognized when in Windows 7 product key

I have a new laptop with Windows 7 installed.  I installed Office Professional 2007 discs.  When I entered the product key, that it is not accepted because it contains a zero he says is not valid.  I do not see the P button on the label, I don't have the email from original purchase and do not know how to find another way.  Anyone got any ideas?

Your new PC had a preinstalled trial that you could not uninstall, as well as its activation Assistant, then restarted, before installing your paid for version?
The key is in the cd box, or in the confirmation email if purchased through Digital River, MS on line partner, there is no other way to get the key

  • Installation of Office Professional 2007

    Hi all

    OK, it's just a check

I installed Office Professional 207 on my PC and the new generation, the new install of Win 7, all with Office 2007 so far seems OK.

However the odd thing is that when installing it counts only disc one & without any point during the application installation using the drive in two.

    Is this normal?

If so, why have two disk?

    Thank you

  • Windows 8 and MS office professional 2010

    Hello

I am looking to buy a laptop HP 2000-2c32NR.  It comes with Windows 8.  The agent told me I can't install Microsoft Office Professional 2007 or Microsoft Office Professional 2010 on the laptop.  I have licenses for both of my job.  Is it true or wrong associated sale?  I would like to buy the laptop but don't want to buy a separate MS Office product if I can't because I still have remaining licenses available.

    Please notify.

    Kind regards

  • Upgrading MS Office Professional Plus 2010 beta running with Windows XP Pro

I provided (downloaded) with MS Office Professional Plus 2010 beta version to solve a problem, I had.  Technical support provided MS download for me.  Now what?  For example, this beta version has an identification of the product (PID) number but no activation.  My mail app is Microsoft Outlook Express that has lost the spell checking feature during the installation of MS Office 2010.

The Outlook Express forum is here: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/xpnetwork/threads.  I'm going to move your thread.

Go to the control panel adding / suppression suppression programs, find Microsoft Office 2010, and then uninstall it, if you no longer want to use it.  However, I know if that will fix the spelling in OE.  Installation of Office 2007 or 2010 disables spell-checking in OE in some languages.  See this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932974.  Several ways of approaching this issue can be found here: http://www.webdevelopersnotes.com/how-do-i/change-spell-check-dictionary-french-english-outlook-express.php
