Offshore Enterprise scanning solutions

I'm looking for a wide so enterprise software to deploy with our electronic medical record (EMR).  The TRA has a document management function so the scanning software must only rdo what follows:

Supports the batch processing of multiple documents.

Automatically saves the PDF files in a folder designated by a unique name.

Converts documents to the paper acceptable file formats (.) PDF. TIFF, etc.).

That's about 400 doctors in 100 practices.

I would appreciate any recommendations.

Adobe don't think I have anything that it is targeted beyond the user nonbatching low and medium volume.

I'm looking for in an Enterprise Backup Solution that will allow me to save guest restoration VM encapsulated the encapsulated Vm Guest and let restores individual files.  What are the current solutions and Vmware or anyone else who is dating a good solution in the near future? The size of the environment has 250 hosts with approximately 15-25 comments on each host.  Current solution is using Netbackup with agents inside the guests.

I looked vRanger Pro connection but have some questions about this.  Is - this Enterprise Class to support the environment size above?  And for those that use for a large environment how this unloading is workload?  A small box of vRanger connection can't handle the backup of 5000 guests.  After reading the documentation that it sounded like he pushes the backup processing to the source host ESX virtual machine hosting is that correct?  I can then make a fiber optic connection or connection nfs for a camera of deduplication of data on other ESX host in the Cluster and say the task of using these connections on the ESX hosts to transmit the backup on the destination device to store the archive.  Is this correct?

  • Scanning solution Center

I have a HP Deskjet F4280 all-in-one printer running on a Vista computer. I try to use the scan using the Solution Center.

Open Solution Center is fine. When I click "Scan Picture" or "Scan a Document" HP Scanning window appears but nothing happens. The "making Copies" works very well. But not the scanning features. I went into the settings and see if I can change a setting, and nothing does.

I've updated to 13 Center of Solution and still nothings, same problem.

It's used to work fine before. I was even print from another computer via the network to the printer and is not working now since I updated this computer, but will solve this problem once it is fixed.

I can scan and works fine when I use "Microsoft Office Document Imaging/Scanning ', but I would use the center of Solution."

    Any ideas how to fix?

Unable to use the HP Solution Center, but these methods in that link will work, I guess I'll have to use them until I update my printer/scanner.

  • Enterprise storage solutions

    Hi all

We have a company of 3D rendering and many large files to store. We use a capsule of 3 TB for backups of our Macs, but it is now full in about a year. I don't know where to go from here. Are we investing in a RAID or we rent tons of cloud storage? We use this capsule as "longer than 1 year storage" and buy a new one for the new backups?

    Thank you for your ideas!

    J

I suggest that you consider a NAS system dedicated for your corporate network. A number of them supports Time Machine for backups as well.

There are many choices out there, but I suggest you take a look at Synology. An example would be their model DS916 + .

The extent of the cloud storage, it would work as well. Some benefits would be that if you need to access files from a remote location and must ensure that each remote client has access to the same files. However, this can also be done by using a VPN connection to your LAN to access the NAS.

The biggest drawback would be the access speeds... especially for Time Machine backups.

  • OJ4680 will not scan using the Solution Center. HP scan Diagnostic Utility reports error Twain

Running XP Pro, photosmart Intalled worm 14 software.  Major problems. found a file system Windows corrupted & corrected, but I can't yet scan Solution Center.  Run the scan diagnostic utility HP reports a Twain error.

The Twain component is not working properly because the product is used by another process.  Without this component, you cannot scan with the HP Solution Center software and some other applications.

Is the Twain driver this isuse by another process and how to determine what I should do to fix this problem?

I uninstalled, rubbed & reinstalled the software several times without any change in the results.  What can I do next?

  • HP OfficeJet 4650: Change scan settings

I installed this printer (HP OfficeJet 4650) with my new HP All In One desktop PC. When you scan documents and pictures, I get the entire screen printing. How can I change the settings to not analyze that what is on the screen, without having to go back and trim surplus space to all about what was scanned?

In addition, the resolution of the scanned image is poor. I found the setting to change the print quality to the 'best', which I take as a higher resolution, but also does back up towards the top scan quality? I traced information about the change of the ppi of 200 to 300, but the instructions are for MAC/IOS - which I couldn't follow on my system.

Thanks in advance for any info; greatly appreciated!

  • OfficeJet 8500 A909n scanned of the impressions of image reduced to 0.25 "

I did a complete new installation of new drivers for intsaller version 14.0. Scan solution Center (8.5x11.0"using the bucket, original in the upper right corner) looked precise and saved as a picture. PDF file.  I then printed with Adobe Reader and Readiris Pro 11 and they both printed the reduced image "1/8 on all sides (sometimes 0.25" up and down) - I could now see the page border line that wasn't in the picture displayed by the Solution Center scan (I have crops 8.5x14 in 8.5 x 11).

How can I get an exact copy as what I get when I use the 8500 as a manual Copier?

Shane_R HP provided the following information:

It is not a question or a problem with the duplexer.  It's just how it works.  The duplexer reformatted the verso of a print out differently than it does the front.  Inkjet printers, it leaves space so that the ink will not smear.  Laser printers, it leaves space to avoid the toner smears.  It's just the way is designed the duplex function.

  • Color Laserjet Pro M377dw MFP: HP auto duplex scanning

I bought this product to scan a stack of several statements of thousands of Bank printed on A4 paper. The statements are double face with numbers of statement and page along the bottom edge about 15 mm from the edge of the page.  I used two utilities on Windows 10

    -HP Scan; and

    -Capture and scanning HP

HP scanner is a native application for Windows 10 but offers no duplex function. I scan a face, then scan the other side and then manually rearrange the pages after scanning back on both sides in the correct order. A lot of your time.

Capture and scanning HP is a windows application which offers a manual duplex feature (automatically interlaces pages) but has a maximum length of 10.98inches page - then it loses the logo in the top of the page or the page number and statement at the bottom.

Has anyone found a better way of front and back of the full page of digitization?

  • OfficeJet 6500 E710n-z: HP Scan add page

    Using Windows 7 64 bit, OfficeJet 6500 E710n-z, utility scanning HP v 28.0.1315.0

I need to scan several pages, some pages in size, a few recipes.

If I start with the ADF, all pages are scanned, the option to add a Page only allows me to continue scanning from the ADF, so the only option is to close the first file and create a second for the things I have to scan from the glass.

Is there a way I can switch to scan from the glass and add this page in the same file as the pages in the ADF?

    Hello

Thank you for using the HP forum.

You can try this software scanning solution:

    HP extended Scan

    FTP://FTP.HP.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it has downloaded and installed, go to start > all programs > HP > HP Scan extended > Run "HP Scan extended.

You can 'Save as PDF', start working with the Source as the ADF and then add pages, and then select the source as flat.

Let us know if it works.
