OID - IOM adpOIDModifyUser adapter mapping

Hello

When you create a new custom field defined by the user in the IOM and the configuration of the adapter design console adpOIDMODIFYUSER, which should be the mapping of variables of the adapter

most of the variables must be the same as the other tasks of the process definition of user OID with some additional settings such as the attribute name and value of the attribute
name of the attribute depend on the task that you invoke as updated name will take the name as the attribute name and the first name in the form of process as attribute value value.
Hope this helps,
Sagar

On a new installation of development of COLD, and IOM, I get the following error when trying to perform reconciliations of the user:

LDAP: error 53 - search filter attribute modifytimestamp unimplemented function code is not indexed/cataloged

How can I add the index appropriate to carry out these tasks?

PS: I'm a newbie, so please explain in detail. Thanks in advance.

You must attribute modifyTimeStamp OID index to make it searchable. After a command, you can use to index the same:
Catalogue - connect - Add TRUE - modifytimestamp attribute

  • IOM - call adapter when edit user IOM

How to call an adapter when change a field on the form user IOM?
I tried assing the adapter on the definition of process 'user xellerate. What is the name of the task to assign the adapter? I tried with several names, but was unsuccessful.

For the field that you want to trigger your Java Code.

Assume that the first name, then create a task with the name of "change of name".

and to make its entry in the 'Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS' if not exists.

    Hello

I have a task to complete visa-vis IMO.

Say I have a flat file with connection fields | firstName. lastName. E-mail | Organization | status
value of State can ve 'A' or 't'.
Now when the status is set to "t", the respective user from IOM should get disabled in IOM and should be deleted in OID.
If the status is set to 'A' again, IOM respective user must get activated in IOM, and he should get created in OID.

    How is it possible?

Arrived looking for her next "Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS".

and there should be only one name of the task as decode USR_EMail value and this task would be rendered necessary e-mail on the user from the update.

Your OID definition process should have a task with the same name that will propagate the data to the target.

  • Disable users from the IOM AND ALLOW THEIR MANUELLEMENT in OID...

    Hello

I have connected to OID IOM.

When I disable a user to the IOM, the attribute orclisenabled for this user is set to DISABLED
Now when I change manually DISABLED active in OID and the task of reconstruction of target, the IOM user remains disabled and when I check the profile of the resources, the user OID resource is ENABLED.

This should not happen. I want the case, when I manually ENABLE users disabled in OID and recon task, the user still needs to get disabled in OID

Is it possible to achieve this condition?

    Hi Elise,.

I think that the reason is due to the improver method to set the jar file. Simply copy the java code into Notepad and save it as java file only.Compile this java code so that you will get the java class. The you can create c like

    jar filename.jar javafilename.class cf

Using this command, we can create a jar file. Just try it this way. I think that this will solve your problem.

    Thank you best regards &,.

  • Loading bulk of IOM to OID

    Hello

I'm trying to figure out how to move user existing OID IOM in bulk.

Is anyway by which we can move all existing users in IOM simultaneously, rather than one by one through the resources by commissioning profile.

    Concerning
    Pegasus

I do not know if I understood the question, ignore me if I'm wrong.

If you want to configure all of your users in a resource you can proceed as follows:

    (1) create a "access policy" by admin Console, wich provisions your OID resource (make sure check you the box 'Rénovation Access Policy'!)

    (2) for the creation of the Policly you will be asked to select the groups of users that will be affected by the policy. Like all users of IOM belong to the "ALL USERS" group, you can assign your strategy of access to this group. Either by the way, I would consider to create a new user group, if there is no chance that you add a user to the IOM which you will not need to be put into service in the OID.

You can take a look at chapters 10 and 11 in the admin. Documentation of the console:

Shout me if I missunderstood you ;)

  • Relationship between users and roles OID

    Hi team,

We have created users and roles in the IOM and the synchronization of these OID values. Users and roles create under different containers in OID.

We have the relationship between users and roles of the IOM. How the relationship between users and roles are maintained in the OID.

Could you please help me on this. Thanks in advance.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Narasimha Rao

For 11 GR 2 IOM, roles map to the OID groups if there is a ldap synchronization (between IOM and the OID). I know that it works for IOM 11.1.2.2 and OID 11.1.1.7 (also 11.1.1.6 OID as well).

Between the IOM and the OID ldap synchronization will automatically synchronize users of IOM in OID. So if you add a user to the IOM it will come in OID under the users container.  You create the role of IOM, you should see a group created under the OID. Similarly, if you add users to the IOM for a role of IOM, it will map/synchronization user in OID OID group.

(Hope this helps, please indicate your answer as answered if it solved your query)

  • Java adapter in the process task

    Hello

I use DBAT connector to configure data of IOM on the target system. I have an obligation to change password in the target system when it is changed to IOM (default is changed, but this change must be done in a specific way). I packed a java code that changes in some way and put password implemented as an adapter in IOM (simple adapter; a single entry (user password) and an output).
I guess I should create a task in the form of process that calls this card, but after a few tries, I'm still not able to make it work very well.

My question is: how to implement adapter in the process task? There are 2 tasks by default, which corresponds to the user password:
    -Change user password
    -Edit USR_PASSWORD
    Should I change them?

    Thanks in advance!

No thing wrong with the process, you explain your statement of the problem correctly,

Now do something, go to your task change password and in return variable mapping, don't map to code response, map it to process the data ==> password

  • turn off buttons resetpassword in IOM

    Hello

We have installed 11.1.2.2 IOM and LDAPSync is enabled. We have created a group named TASKOPERATORS and added a few users. Now in IOM we want to enable/disable/Lock/Unlock/reset password to assign to this group feature. This feature is available for internal default "SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORS" role like OOTB. Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

In IOM privileges are mapped with the administrator roles and not with business roles. Also, before the PS3, you cannot create a custom admin roles. If you want to provide these try restricted permission Helpdesk Admin role. This default role is " Activate/disable/Lock/Unlock/reset password" capabilities. Also, to limit / provide additional privileges use, OES Auth policy to Help desk admin role.

You can assign this role to the user admin, using the api RoleManager via a custom event handler or a planner.

  • Managing roles using the solution of the OIM/OAM/OID

    Dear members

I am faced with confusion while providing the solution about the OAM and OID.

We have the portal WC system where authentication solution implemented using OAM 11 g. We expect authentication based on roles with the help of OID/IOM.

I hear, by authentication based on roles, we're essentially the user roles will find in these roles. So they have will go through SSO system and their landing page will be the same. But the controls and links will be displayed according to their role.

We do not use oracle role manager then manage it using OID.

Is there a possible solution. Please help me its urgent.

    Thanks in advance.

    Concerning

    Arun Kumar Singh

    Hi Arun,

In OAM, you can define authorization policies that allow or deny access to resources based on a value of attribute (of the logged in user). For example, you might allow access to the url/admin only to users who have a value of 'Administrator' in an attribute. Another approach is simply to set the attribute as a Variable for header (this is also defined in an OAM authorization policy) so that it is passed to the receiving application, which can then query the value of the attribute and take appropriate action.

In these cases, OAM is only using the values of the attribute or send them to another application. To manage the values (put them properly for users/applications etc.) you would use a tool like the IOM to ensure that they are properly sized.

  • NameNotFoundException balancing ldap IOM

Hi experts, please help me to solve this problem of synchronization IOM.

When I ran LDAPConfigPostSetup.sh to reconcile the OID IOM everything most of ldap entries all entered the IOM except few that are under cn = OracleContext. I get about 20 messages below:

wls_oim1 - diagnostic.log:javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: [LDAP: error code 32-32 of LDAP Error: No. Such Object]; name remaining "cn = OracleDASConfiguration, cn = group, cn = OracleContext.

In my ldap distinguished name is - cn = OracleDASConfiguration, cn = group, cn = OracleContext, dc = example, dc = com.

But few of them have been properly synchronized with the IOM and I see a lot of roles in the console of the IOM as:
CN = iASAdmins, cn = group, cn = OracleContext, dc = example, dc = com
CN = IAS & user Mgmt Application Admins, cn = OracleContext, dc = example, dc = com
    and many others.

Reconciled kindly somebody help me why bunch of them has been made and some a fact error. I don't think I need to update all the files xml in this regard.

    Thank you for your time.

    I found

    objectClass: top
    CN: oimadmins
    Description: IOM Administrator role
uniqueMember: cn = oimadmin, cn = users, cn = IOM, cn = products, cn is oraclecontext

May be that your environment is different... Please take a look at OID...

Also, I found in the ldapconfig.props

    # Username Admin you connect to OID
    # for example: OIDAdminUsername = * cn = sleep *.
    OIDAdminUsername =

I think you should use the sleep.
