  Just remove/DB part and it should work...

  metadata_from_loc = / abcd/efgh/MDSImport

  When you import, you can either PurgeCache or restart them both... I prefer the restart...

  However, the metadata for PurgeCache.sh are too quciker method... The fact is, sometimes it does not involve purging all hide... Restart the fact surely...

  Metadata of *./PurgeCache.sh *.

  ./PurgeCache.sh is also equivalent to restart as far as all the related metadata changes are concerned...
  We prefer to restart because the reboot is guaranteed to release all the related metadata cache...
  Restart so better than PurgeCache...

  I don't have to work with the python script. But the step you mentioned is correct. You are able to start the server soa? If yes go to the weblogic console. Under which go to the servers and in this soa_server1. Verify the deployment of the soa infrastructure. Check if it is active or not.

• OIM 11 g R2 installation question. Failed to create schema of the IOM by using RCU 11.1.2

  I tried to install OIM 11 g R2 on a Windows 2008 R2 64-bit server and were met the following error during the creation of diagrams of IOM. Other patterns, such as metadata, SOA, user's email services and other associated schema creation succeeded. But creating schema IOM took more than 2 minutes and finally it fails with the error below.

  The first error was ora-12637 package receive failure followed by Table or view does not exist. I couldn't get much information from the IOM and the rcu.log.
  
  I put the processes and the open_cursors session_cached_cursors described in preinstalling OIM 11 g R2 installation step.

  Copy the msvcr71.dll rcuHome\jdk\jre\bin inside the installer of the UCR and paste in C:\Windows\SysWOW64.

  Try to rerun the rcu with the new user, i.e. instead of DEV_OIM, run it with DEV_OIM1.

  Or delete the user DEV_OIM first and then use the same user.

  I was wondering if there is an API for OIM design Console.
  I would like to add fields to a connector resource and configure the commissioning of the resource of connector and the search for reconciliation through Java code.
  Adding more than 100 attributes of resources is a tedious process, and I would like a better way to automate this process.

  In the developer's guide, there are instructions for configuring a custom client that can connect to your application to IOM. You can use the tcLookupOperationsIntf api to add values to your search.

  I am configuring sync PPL with an OVD/OID on a machine separate then IOM. I have 4 virtual machines. The first to oracle database. The second is IOM and SOA. The third has OAM and the administrator of the server. OAM/IOM/SOA/admin that are all in the same domain. The fourth has OVD/OID in a separate weblogic domain.   We have created a composite SOA with the old 11.1.1.7.0 JDeveloper. Now, we have installed the Oracle SOA Suite QuickStart for developers to work on our composite SOA for IOM in JDeveloper12c.

  When first check composites, they must be migrated to the new version which seems to work fine.

  As the target platform, we use Weblogic 10.3.

  However, when you try to deploy the composite on our SOA server (whether through JDeveloper, or manually in the Manager of the company), we get the following error:

  You use JDeveloper 11.1.1.7.0. to develop and deploy composites for IOM/SOA. JDeveloper12c will do probems.

• Updated PS3 IOM environment - absent administrator roles

  I installed upgrading for OIM 11 g PS2-> PS3. Everything seems to work as it should, however, the button for 'Administrator Roles' is not present on the tab 'manage', which I find a bit odd.

  The button and related features is when installing a fresh environment and enabling audit services, however, when the upgrade of the enviornemnt, he seems to have disappeared.

  Someone at - it solved this problem? In other words: anyone found the controller which allows actually this button?

  I found the solution!

  I was going through this blog: OIM 11 g: error after startup server IOM: retrieve the connection at the base

  In the last comment by Amit, he mentioned that the settings IOM - config.xml must be changed.

  So I discovered that IOM-config file. XML from my environment, under directDBConfigParams, url (jdbc thin driver) was wrong because of cloning.

  In addition, OIMFrontEndURL, RMI and SOAP URL were wrong.

  I corrected the and guess what... each utility works...

  However, you don't have to import/export the config of MDS file... you can change these details in the following MBEANs

  1 DirectDB

  2. the discovery

  3 SOAConfig

  > Reboot the server of the IOM.

  I knew this jdbc driver was not, but did not know where to set it up.

  I have listed the error in my last comment, so that if anyone has this problem, the text of this presentation would help.

  Also, try to add the parameter value in the XML... by exporting the sandbox... do change and re-import... see if that helps

  The name of user and password is correct. 1 forward, I used the "Patch Set Assistent" to upgrade the schema OPSS.

  Hello

  I try to use OIM 11 g API creating user, update user and toggle. I use custom loggers to print the loggers.

  There is a generated error when I try to accomplish the above every time mentioned operations. He is able to connect to IOM and successfully operations, no idea why the error below is throwed every time he connects with the IOM.

  OK, just to refer as a result of notes and check if it helps.

  • Without warning, impossible to connect to the Console of the IOM with any user (Doc ID 1524783.1)
  • Authentication of the IOM by using the credentials Active Directory (AD) fails (Doc ID 1387837.1)

  Check any other environment, and compare the Weblogic-> realm->-> configuration of authentication providers where this mistake didn't exist.

• Ad groups associated with a role of IOM

  I am currently using OIM 11 g r2 with an AD 9.1.1.7.0 connector. I was curious to know if there was a way to link a handful of ad groups (ie., administrator, account operators, etc.) to a role in the IOM.

  Yes, if you have the access policy for the supply of AD account then you can save the list of groups/payments in the form of the child while the creation of access policy itself and it will be assigned by default once the account is configured on the target system.
