  Don't know why they keep download after you have deleted, but the setting you speak is in settings > iTunes & App Store > automatic downloads > Applications > Off.

  I have a card PCI-MXI-2, which is currently in a Windows Xp computer.

  The windows xp-based computer uses the driver NOR-VXI 2.1.1 (Windows 9 x/NT/2000).

  This configuration works. I would now like to move to Windows 7.

  The card is connected by VXI a VME-MXI-2 card, which is configured with three cards of measure to an outside company.

  Because of the material that I use, I think I should keep the orriginal driver to make it work. I was not successful with the drivers OR newer.

  Anyone has any advice on the use of aged drivers OR newer operating systems?

  I didn't have much luck with this approach so far.

  -J' deleted all software from national instruments

  -J' installed the old drivers on Windows 7 in compatibility mode (or vxi components shared VISA 1.6 2.1.1, components shared IVI 2.2.1)

  -J' made sure that all of the software is the same version as on the old machine

  -J' configured then the boards with T & M Manager

  Success. Everything works now.  It is a very valuable approach for those who use old hardware that cannot handle the new drivers.

  Since you've reinstalled windows, you will need to re - install applications once again, you will be lucky (if you format the drive) data on your computer. You remember that location, it was in my documents? If yes it just open C:\Documents and settings and locate your old username, you will find your old desktop, Favorites and Documents.

I played World of Warcraft at the time and needed to download Mumble on the fly, so I was not quite cautious and downloaded an extension, Websteroids, at the same time. Websteroids highlights words in text documents that, when scrolling on, lead to advertisements. The claim of the site Websteroids, is that it turns a Web page in a game of meteorites.

  I have repeatedly disabled and removed it from my extensions list, uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, deleted files with the Websteroids name on it, uninstalled it and Mumble, and any other files/programs that I could find from that date.
  I've run my antivirus program (AVG), spybot s&d, and lavasoft ad aware and followed the advice from their scans. Nevertheless, Websteriods keeps reinstalling itself without warning.
  I have restarted Mozilla in safe mode and I've also deleted anything I could find from the publisher, Creative Island Media, LLC.
  The next step that I can think of is a system restore. Before I do that, is there any other less drastic step that might work?

  Hi kg - 227, unless Firefox is himself infected, uninstalling/reinstalling should not make a difference.

  There are cases in which the third party software is deposited in the Firefox program folder and don't get cleaned automatically. This is normal so you don't waste of plugins, but could be exploited. To remedy this situation, you can rename the Firefox folder, then reinstall.

  Download the installer for your default language on this page:

  https://www.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/all/

  After the release of Firefox, rename the program to something like OldFox folder.

  On 64-bit Windows, there are:

  C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
  

  On 32-bit Windows, there are:

  C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
  

  Then, run the Setup program. It should find your personal data automatically.

  Thank you led.  I managed to find another staff member of Benedict who helped erase the activation crashed computers CS3.  He crashed twice in the past two years, and I guess that the two installs exhausted my limit of 2 use even though it was really on the same computer.  In any case everything is ok now but thanks for your help too Nelson

  Use Knoppix that leave you the hard in the old first machine as the material you say all passes.

  You can remove the hard drive and put it in a hard drive USB enclosure > plug it into another computer > and try to read and copy your data in this way.
