  Is the file on your hard disk or on modified such as a CD - R media?

  If it's on your hard drive, right click and select Properties (or get information on Mac). In Windows, uncheck the 'read only' and click on apply.   I did a movie and released a dvd. Then, I moved my files from movie on an external hard drive to store files and free up space on my computer. So I went back to try a pull up the project and got every X / white clips. So now, I rebooted my computer with the video files I removed on the external hard drive and it still shows empty clips.

  You should still be able to delete the files in your Acrobat.com account (and receive a confirmation message "delete file" when you do. If this isn't the case, please clear the cache, and then open a session in https://cloud.acrobat.com/files. When you select a file to delete, you will see a list of options at the top of the list of files - on the far right, you will see the delete option.

  Hello and welcome to the forum (see this is your first assignment).

  Normally there is no problems opening files-CP4 CP5 to: they will be converted, including the advanced actions (if any) and AS3 if the CP4 was AS2 as CP5 only supports AS2. I had only a few rare problems with these conversions.

  ATTENTION: you will not be able to open the converted file in CP4 more. As always, be sure to keep the original files stored somewhere safely.
