  Solved

  HTTPS was not enabled in IIS on the server. Created a self-signed certificate and limits only the default Web page and it worked fine, locally and externally.

  I had a Vcenter server named virtualcenter.domain.com (192.168.1.10) with Vcenter 5.1 (with SSO, inventory, Webclient) on a windows 2008 R2 with a MSSQL2012 db.

  I tried to upgrade from 5.1 to 5.5u1 and he failed, Vcenter & Webclient installers have been crashing before you finish update

  So I decided to make a clone of my Vcenter and still have my production work while trying to update.

  My clone has been virtualcenter2.domain.com with a new IP 192.168.1.12

  I uninstalled everything for the webclient service that I had to clean files and registry entries manually, because he didn't find the uninstall program when I was clicking on uninstall.

  Then the installation went well, everything except the webclient service works very well

• vCenter is always looking for the old linked server

  I had a vCenter server to another place related to my vCenter.  The guy at the other site rebuilt the server without telling me. So now my vCenter looking always for this server which is no longer there.  I can't go to the old server and break the link because it no longer exists.

  Every day I get the message that it cannot authenticate or find the server.

  How can I get my vCenter to exit the search of is no longer present vCenter to another location?

• SSL Server 3.3 to 4.2 acs acs certifcate

  Hi all

  I need a help on this SSL certificate installation on my acs for PEAP clients 1120 device

  Note: I exported Server Certificate SSL from my old server acs 3.3 which is located under the acscertstore folder issued by the CA vendor. I need to reuse this same SSL certificate on my acs unit.

  ACS appliance ever Installer requires following two certificate must be installed for customers PEAP authentication

  (1) server certificate

  (2) certificate of the CA

  Server certificate: for the server certificate, I have my old certificate which is exported from my old server acs 3.3, when I tried to download my server certificate via an ftp server on my device acs, his search for the private key and the private key file.

  Private key & file is generated initially at the CSR request when the server certificate is requested to the seller of this stuff for my old acs 3.3. I don't know the password for the private key.

  If I need a private key & file, then I need to generate a new CSR from my acs camera and I need to present this REA out my CA provider to generate new .which of server SSL certificate is something like a new server certificate request.

  CA certificate: CA certificate, when I opened my existing on the detials of CRL distribution point tab, SSL certificate I could see below URL. WHN I open this URL gives the list of CRL.

  The CA Cert you provided previously, none of them belog to cert of GBA. Your ACS cert is from CA: Equifax Secure Certificate Authority.

  I've separated the CA cert cert of GBA. Now, here are the steps:

  [1] copy the private key of the server v3.3 acs file and save it to a separate folder called "ACS CERT.

  [2] save CA cert and cert ACS in the same folder.

  [3] install an FTP server on your laptop, which is used to install certificates on the ACS unit.

  [4] make the "ACS certs" folder in the ftp folder.

  [5] CA cert, first install.

  [6] then, install cert of the acs and the whole private key file.

  The CAs and ACS cert cert is attached.

  Let me know how it goes.

• RDBMS for Hyperion Essbase server change

  Hi all

  We installed and configured 11.1.2.2.100(Essbase, EIS, Studio, Services partagés) on Windows 2008 32-bit server successfully.

  Everything went well and all the products work.

  Now, we have changed the RDBMS for Hyperion Essbase server and ran the configuration once more with the new RDBMS server with option "reuse existing tables.

  Therefore, we are unable to access the essbase server.

  We have seen users of Shared Services. All users are able to connect to Shared Services, EAS but problem with Essbase.

  In the table of HSS_Component is the old name of the server in two places, we have updated the old name of DB server on behalf of current server DB.

  When we try to access essbase we get the below error (tried with the host name, ip address, EssbaseCluster1 as the Essbase server)

  Error network [10061]: unable to connect to [Server Name: 1423]

  Error: 103: unexpected error Essbase 1030818

  Error: 1042006: error network [10061]: unable to connect to [[servername]: 1423]

  Error: 1030818: failed to connect. Please check if the server and port are correct. If you have received failure timeout or handshake.

  Please check if you tried to connect to a secure Word keyless secure port or disable port with the secure key word.

  Please help me solve this problem.

  It is extremely important that you know what you are doing before you touch the registry of shared services and the correct way is to not update the tables, is to use the epmsys_registry utility.

  To be honest you can have messed up the registry and it is something I will not get involved in, try to talk with Oracle, what you just did.

  If it is only the name of the RDBMS server change (not the essbase server) then you must follow the instructions in the documentation - change shared Services and connection of database registry and the password information
