  On the last page of this "Monitoring hardware health for Dell customers using Dell OMCI systems" white paper it is a support matrix that shows only on Optiplex desktop systems or fans, not temperature or voltage can be monitored.   Don't know what's happening, you do not give a lot of information, but if you have the constant beachballing (spinning wait cursor), which could mean that the hard drive is dying.
