• Problem of GANYMEDE ACS 4.2 NDG and shell permission sets

  I am trying to solve this problem without success so far. I have fresh GBA 4.2.15 patch 5 ACS installation and I am tryng to deploy to our environment. So I configured a 2960 S to be my test client and everything works well. Problem is when I try to create strategies to fine grains using groups of network devices and shell permission sets.

  I created called ReadOnly and FullAccess authorization of shell games. I also created NDG called FloorSwitches and added my 2960. I have 2 groups of users called FloorSwitchesReadOnly and FloorSwithcesFullAccess. Now, if I have set up a FloorSwitchesFullAccess group and assign the set of permission controls Shell by NDG and then log in to the switch, all my orders are rejected as unauthorized.

  One thing I noticed, is that if I give the command shell permission set it to any device (in the settings of user group) works fine. Or if I create binding with DEFAULT NDG to the Group of users that works too. My conclusion is therefore that the ACS for some reason any does not associate my passage to correct group but is instead the DEFAULT group for some reason any.

  Someone at - it had the similar problem, or is there something I'm doing wrong? Is there another way to achieve such a thing without use of NDG?

  Which is the user setting on while you test command authorization, do you have it set on the group setting?

  I have a problem with my laptop Lenovo G570 (running Windows 7), in which case every so often a small icon (showing a green arrow pointing down) appears next to the usual icons for Skype, Bluetooth devices and so on.   It is part of Lenovo bloatware and I fear that you will need to contact them for the solution.  I always remove their software every time I receive one.

• How to allow the user to set the focus on each and areas of multiple text on stage?

  I have several text boxes on stage and for the purpose of their scroll by wheel, I would like the user to focus on one of its choice, either by the mouse tab.

  The best I could find is the setAttribute method, coupled with the value of the tabindex property, in which the number 1 represents the first and the highest element in the hierarchy.

  This detail really should have been mentioned in your first post. So, I'm going to guess that the simple code NOT simulates a true textarea (because the textarea elements permit an entry), but rather is just a hidden textfield, set up to monitor the mousewheel events. You won't be able to give these things focus just a variable assignment, because they have no concept of development. The only way to do this is to add more code to handle.

• Allow users to set the default printer

  What we have is a non-persistent VDI with view Horizon 6.2 Enterprise solution and EMU and printers mapped by group. There will be hundreds of printers mapped by Group (1 to 1 mapping) and users can belong to several groups and receive maybe five or six printers. What we want is for users final to decide which of these printers they would like as a default value, the value it and for that be reminded on subsequent connections. This is a standard requirement in normal roaming or local profile scenarios, but it does not work in our environment, yes I know we could define a default within EMU, but that is not very useful as some users want different printers as a default value, depending on where they sit, so it would be an impossible administrative burden. If we just let them do it themselves, it is easy for all parties involved.

  I reached out to a VMware self on that and they gave me a fairly simple resolution to this. In customization > Windows settings > create a Config file > user a common Windows setting > printers - only mapped network drivers.

  Then, then, give it a name, work done - it works.

I have users for all cities (10 users various oracle/Discoverer) and each of them should be able to see only the city related to its own data and not others. The reports have a parameter 'city' on them. Instead of the 10N stuff vesrions binders in order to set the correct value for the parameter (and gives access to each user of the 'proper' reports) is otherwise "smarter" to do?

  You can use maxl to set the application type
  For example

  You should right click on the Windows logo in the bottom left.  Select the order Prompty (Admin).  Once it opens, copy and paste the command sfc/scannow in the screen after the prompt C:\ and press ENTER.  It should start the scan.
