  You can not that's not how works iCloud photo library - it is not a conduit but a total synchronization service whose entire raison d'etre is to keep libraries connected identical - all changes made on any device (addition, deletion or modification) are made on all devices.   I guess it could be the easier implementation for laptop and home computer. The Lightroom Catalog stick and the travel RFP will work very well with the laptop, and within LR, back home, I could easily move my new photos from the hard drive trip to grand.

  In the eye of expert-users, would be the disadvantages?

  Erik, it's where you think wrong. Just, you can import your files/folders on site and arrange them how you want. What's different, is that now do you this in and with Lightroom, organization rather than the operating system. You can adapt and or change the structure/organization at any time for each new type you can come up with.

  replacing the screen automatically cancelled the warranty with Apple. therefor, if it's a hardware problem, then they will not be able to help you. You should try to restore the device to connect to your computer with iTunes and restore. Who will correct any software problem. If this does not work, it means that this is certainly material.

  Ltter that I you keyboard through the Loupe View Info (even in the develop Module).

  You set what you want to see by pressing cmd + J - and select the parameters for Info 1 and Info2.

  Letter I cycles this way: 1 - Info 2 - no overlay Info.

Then on the last night before departure holiday, maybe 16 June, decided to remove thousands of photos from my iphone in order to free up as much space as possible so that I can take a lot of pictures during the holidays.

  Returned home, turned on my iMac, see notes on iCloud saying Download 9000 pictures not completed. To be completed July 12.

  Today, to my horror, I found that iCloud has only 1900 photos from my vacation. And pictures of 9000 before the holidays went - not on my iMac photo app and not on iCloud (deleted on iPhone, but never expected copies on iMac to be gone too and thought iCloud would have some of them).

  Please help, it of all within 30 days or more - need the pictures back. My life in there somehow.

  If you delete photos from your iPhone while you use iCloud photo library on the iPhone, the photos will be deleted icloud photo library and all devices sync with iCloud photo library. It's a synchronization service and not an external storage. ICloud library aims to keep libraries on all perfectly synchronized devices. Any photo that you import syncs to all devices, and any photo that you delete on any device in iCloud and all other devices are removed.

  Try to restore the photos on your iMac since the last backup of the Mac you made before you deleted pictures from your iPhone.

  The pictures have been completely removed, or are they still in your recently deleted album?  This album will keep the photos for 30 days, if empty you not prematurely.
