  • Could not open the PDF outside the browser without "Save as" dialog box.

    Hello

We have currently upgraded Acrobat 8 standard, Acrobat 10.1.6. On our old version of Acrobat, when we unchecked the option in the preferences - Internet - view the PDF in the browser, it would open files in a new window, Acrobat.

With X installed, we don't seem to have this option more. Things turn one of the two following ways:

Display in browser checked = PDF is displayed in the browser (IE9)

Uncontrolled browser display = save as dialog box appears when you click the link in the browser

It doesn't seem to be the solution we front aircraft, where there is enough to open the file in a new window, Acrobat.

Are there any settings that would back this expected behavior of my user?

    Thanks in advance,

    John

    Hello

Browsers are evolving so quickly (a few months) it was impossible to keep this work in all browsers. The setting is left as is his preference of registry.

There is a cmd line property that works. See the Administrator's Guide: www.adobe.com/go/acrobatetk.

  • How to open a link in the browser of the phone

I tried to find out how to open links in the browser of the phone, but I'm getting a few surprising opion (StackOverflow) :

It is not the answer, when you want to continue using PhoneGap Build, but I solved the problem by creating a development environment for Cordova (PhoneGap) on my machine and compile the application locally. In Cordoba 2.5.0 window.open('http://www.myurl.nl', '_system'); works perfectly, it will open the link in the system browser.

So my advice is to stop using PhoneGap Build and start compiling your application locally.

I don't know if there is already a good solution that works for all platforms and if I use the Phonegap also supported well build service.

You ask the Forum of phonegap, but it seems a matter of generation phonegap, the phonegap right build forum is https://forums.adobe.com/community/phonegap/build

This response seems old, you must use cordova-plugin-inappbrowser to open external links in the browser of the phone

Install it by adding this line in the config.xml file

and open the phone's browser with

    cordova.InAppBrowser.open('http://www.myurl.nl','_system');,

  • Open Enterprise Manager using the browser on Oracle Linux

I installed Oracle 10 g Release 2 on Oracle Enterprise (version of Enterprise Linux AS 4 (October 7 update)).

I started the listener and enterprise manager using emctl start dbconsole command successfully.

As I am new to linux, I don't know how to open the url EM Linux.

What browser should I use (exact version that is compatible with the version of Enterprise Linux AS 4 (October update 7).) How do I install the browser and open enterprise manager using the browser.
I don't even know if any browser is installed during the installation of linux. How can I check if any browser installed or not?

No one can guess what you have installed or how you have configured your system or the installation of Oracle. The default browser for Oracle Linux 4 is Konqueror, which is not compatible with the MS Oracle dbconsole.

You might want to try the following:

Open a Terminal command prompt (System Applications/tools) and enter the following command:

    su - root
    cd /etc/yum.repos.d
    wget http://public-yum.oracle.com/public-yum-el4.repo
    yum -y install firefox

To open a Firefox browser window, open the Web icon in the Menu, next to the Actions or the Applications/Internet or type firefox in an X 11 terminal window.

The default URL for the dbconsole EM is:

    http://hostname_or_ip:5500 / em

  • Whenever I try to open a PDF file, the window will close 5 seconds later.

Drive is faulty on my computer. Whenever I try to open a PDF file, the window will close 5 seconds later. It all started a few days ago when I tried to update the version of the player, I had. Since then, I have had several problems or is not be able to open a PDF file with any time of security on the, and now when I use the Adobe cleaner and downloaded the new program, nothing opens. I tried with XI (which is what I was at the origin of the problems with), then X and now I have 9.5 same problem with them

Help, please!  I have to be able to view a PDF file and digitally sign for work!

    Somethings to try...

    • Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, and then double-click Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
    • You can open Adobe Reader by itself?  If so, try to disable the Protected Mode [Edit |] Preferences | (Improved) security].
    • It might even be a malware problem; See http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-core-dll-error.html
  • I can't open PDFs in the browser, even if I installed an add-on.

I downloaded the add-on for Firefox cloud Viewer on my tablet. I am under Android 4 (ICS). I need to be able to open PDF files directly in the browser window, because the site does not allow me to download the file and open in an independent Viewer. Is it possible to do this in Firefox?

There is no way to do it on Android in Firefox or another browser. Adobe doesn't have a browser plugin for Adobe Reader.

  • Enable annotations to open PDF in the browser, I'm able to add annotations in the XI player application

I have a document that is stored on the server. A link is sent to multiple users, and when you open the file it opens in the browser. It shows the Annotations menu but all options are disabled. When the file is opened on the application Adobe Reader XI allows you to use annotations.

    I use Windows 7 and IE 10.

Somethings you have to do in the Reader not the plug-in application.

  • Cannot save pdf to the browser, not open directly

I use Adobe Reader 10, Windows XP and Firefox. When I click on a link to a pdf file, I get a window popup asking where I want to save the file. I don't want to save it, I want to open it. I do not get this option. If I right click on the link, I just get 'Open link in a new tab... '. "Then the same save the message arrives. I used to be able to just click on the link and the file would open right in Adobe Reader.

What version of Firefox?  From 19 of Firefox, it uses its own Viewer PDF, not the Adobe Reader plugin. See http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1158136

You're default PDF viewer is not defined as Adobe Reader or Acrobat.  Change the viewer in the Chrome options, and it will not work properly.
