    Thanks for any help.

Hello. The list in Device Manager 2 computers if they are different, it is because your supplier (manufacturer) has drivers installed, but doesn't your husband - he uses native Windows (by default) drivers. To install drivers sellers use the disc that came with the laptop, or go to the Inspiron 17R 7110 html page to see links to all the drivers for Dell provided for this model. I mean all for different versions of Windows which takes in charge of Dell on this model, and the various versions of pilot, later and older.

Because you were watching from a blank hard disk, you must install these drivers in this order.

1 Dell System Software - find on the page html under the category: System utilities. It is available only if the laptop is running Win 7 32-bit or 64-bit.

2 Intel HM67 Chipset drivers, under the category: Chipset. Available for Vista, 7, or 8.

3 of card reader Realtek driver, under the category: Chipset. Available for Vista, 7, or 8.

    4. audio Realtek driver, under the category: Audio. After his laptop computer installation of your husband will show Realtek High Definition Audio Device in Device Manager.

5 Intel 3000 or Graphics 2000/3000 under the category: video. After his laptop computer installation of your husband will show Intel display Audio in Device Manager. Intel display Audio's HDMI audio driver when you connect to a TV with an hdmi cable.

    6. some laptops have a second graphic device that takes over from the Intel graphics card during graphics intensive games like situations. If computer laptop your husband has this feature, then get the driver nVidia too.

Most of the other devices will agree with it Windows native drivers for now, and you can install them later in an order any if you need.

When I plug in headphones or external speakers, the sound continues to fate of the speakers of the laptop.

I don't know if installing drivers will fix this or not. The headset should work fine now with just the native Windows driver. Install the drivers and see what happens. If you need more information, mention the operating system and possibly the model of your laptop and its operating system.

  • Sound of buzzing/grinding/Popping/stuttering from speakers for Dell Inspiron N7110.

It is a similar problem, I read all the forums, and I tried ALL the suggestions of those messages that say they work. Unfortunately, there is no problem for MY model of laptop, it's always for some 15 - something.

I have a buzzing/grinding/popping/stuttering sound when I listen to the music, when I watch YouTube videos, or do much of anything that requires sound. It comes through the speakers of the laptop, any headphones that I use and even when I plug in speakers to use. I have tried everything; rolling back the drivers, update drivers, installation of something quick somethingsomething to Intel, I'm getting desperate. It's been two or more weeks now, and I'm at my wit's end.

My computer model is a Dell Inspiron N7110 with Windows 7 64 bit.

Because there is no forum for other messages on this problem with this model, I have not exactly a place to turn without actually posting something on this subject.

    I've tried everything

Have you tried to restore the original computer to the factory settings? If you had no problem when you first received the laptop, restore will fix it. (Page 70 of the Setup Guide - Factory Image Restore).

If restoring fixes it, it means that a configuration change caused the problem, probably an update. If you keep track of future updates, you can discover that it triggers the problem when it repeats.

If the restore does not resolve and the computer was not initially the problem, this means that a hardware problem has developed.

Assuming that your laptop is the exact model as well as the review below it uses
a Nvidia GT 525 m. This card has a reasonable performance, so the score should be higher.

During the reinstallation of Win7, you must also reinstall the graphics as well as all of the current versions
the other drivers (BIOS is not always necessary) after download from DELL.

In most cases the laptop graphics upgrade is not possible, and where possible it is generally not cost-effective as adapters for laptops cost more expensive for a given with PC model.

After windows upgrade 8 I couldn't find the bluetooth and the driver for windows 7 does not work... pls help

    Hi Deepak,

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft community!
I understand your concern and know it must be very frustrating. I will guide you on this.

I suggest you to download and install the latest drivers for chipset/Bluetooth from the manufacturer's website. If there is no windows drivers 8, then install Windows 7 drivers in compatibility mode and check.

Follow the steps to run in compatibility mode:

    Method 1:

    (a) access to the start screen

    (b) press Windows key + C on your keyboard to show the charms (if you have a touch screen: touch the right edge of your screen and slide your finger to the center of the screen to display the bar of charms)

    (c) search for Troubleshooting, click settings in the right-hand column.

    (d) click on troubleshooting. Click run programs made for previous versions of Windows

    (e) click on Next, select not listed. Click Next

    (f) click Browse and select the driver file you downloaded.

    (g) click on Next, click program troubleshooting

    (h) check the program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won't install or run now

    (i) click next , select the latest OS known functional for this (probably Windows 7 driver

    (j) click Next

See the link which is shown below:

  • INSPIRON N7110 - upgrade memory

I currently have 6GB and I would like to the max which I believe is of 8 GB.

As N7110 has 2 slots I probably have a slot 4GB and an another 2GB slot.

Add 2 GB in slot 2 or I have to replace the 2 GB with 4 GB?

Hi Yes, if those are the original RAM modules, you can move forward with the same memory module manufacturer Hynix. The manufacturer should be placed on the modules of memory from CN-Beach 0xxxxx (xxxxx is the manufacturer).

  • Cannot install Windows XP Professional x 64 on Inspiron N7110

I have problems installing Windows XP Professional x 64 on my N7110. I get this error: "a problem has been detected and Windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer. "Technical information * STOP: 0x0000007B (0xFFFFFADF938323C0, 0xFFFFFFFFC0000034, 0 x 0000000000000000, 0 x 0000000000000000)."

    Hardware specifications:

    i5 - 2430M

    4 GB OF RAM

    HARD DRIVE 640 GB

    GeForce GT 525M

    BIOS A07

I thought it was a bug in the BIOS so I went to download the latest version of BIOS and to my surprise, it was the version A06. Does this mean A07 was buggy and Dell returned to A06?

I also found this page http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=266327 that says N7110 BIOS A05 and A06 have lots of bugs ACPI but N5110 has not. This is perhaps related to my problem?

    Thanks in advance

If a version of BIOS for a bug is detected, Dell normally does not 'pull'... that they usually emit an A08 to fix.

Your blue screen is related to your storage driver.  XP cannot access SATA drives, you will need to load the driver for the SATA controller:
    http://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?AGR=Y&DwnldID=19607&ProdId=3321&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%20XP%2064-bit%20Edition * & DownloadType = drivers

XP cannot get these drivers by diskette at the F6 prompt during the installation of Windows, so, unless you have a USB floppy drive and floppy, you will need to use nLiteOS.com to integrate the driver of your installation media.  This will create a new CD to install XP.

Keep in mind that not all modern hardware is compatible with XP - XP is not a modern OS and you may have trouble getting all your devices to work properly under XP (64-bit, no less, who was quite unstable itself compared to 32-bit).

  • Inspiron N7110 - no video stream

    Hello

N7110 my sister was damaged, and the LCD screen has been cracked.  She ordered a replacement LCD based on the part number on the original.  I installed it for her, but there is no video stream.  The backlight works very well, and the VGA output is well once the OS starts to load.  Is it possible that the cable of the system to the display board connector must also be replaced?

I don't see anything about the JOB or the Boot on VGA, so I can't really run system of Pre-boot test.

    Suggestions?

    Thank you

    Jim

PS - it is out of warranty of six months

Renon - thank you very much for responding to my query.

The part number for the LCD is B173RW01 V.3, it did not come with a new cable.

I was on Dell Chat last night with Neil C. (case ) and he gave me a quote for a new LVDS cable.

    I'm on the right track?
