Opening keyboard SK-8861

Hi all. I don't know if it's the right forum section. In any case, this is the problem: I have a lenovo with the keyboard SK-8861 desktop PC and it works fine tile view deleted someone from my family (mmm... woman?) drop some Cocacola on the keyboard.

Because of the sugar the keys are "glued" someway My idea was to open the keyboard to clean it up. Unfortunately, remove the 6 screws is not enough to open the keyboard. What Miss me?

You know a better way to clean the keyboard?

Thanks in advance.

Well, the SolutionUne was a "brute force" approach: I placed the entire keyboard in a basin with SOAP water and the hot plate for a while.

Then I dry with a hair dryer (whitout heat).

It works now.

    Hi Kdooley,

    Are a. When you facing this problem?

    B. using a laptop or a desktop computer?

    C. is - what happens with specific applications?

    D. don't you plug a different keyboard to check?

    Method 1

    I suggest you to connect this keyboard on another computer and see if it even. If the problem persists, try Method 2

    Method 2

    Try to change the rate of repeat on the keyboard and check if it helps.

    1. Open keyboard by clicking the Start button, clicking on Control Panel, hardware and sound, tap keyboard.
    2. Under character repeat, move the repeat rate slider to the left to keyboard characters repeat more slowly, or to the right to make them repeat faster.

    If the problem persists, then it might be a problem with the keyboard itself.

    Hi TerriIP,

    ·         What is the brand and model of the keyboard?

    ·         It happens with all applications?

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    If you use a wireless keyboard, and then try to connect a wired keyboard and verification.

    You will need to reduce the character repeat rate in keyboard settings and check.

    a. open keyboard properties by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type keyboard, and then click keyboard.

    b. in the character repeat, move the rate to the left slider repeat make keyboard characters repeat more slowly, or move it to the right to make them repeat more quickly, and then click OK.

    You can also check if similar problem occurs when you use the keyboard of the screen:

    We could use a little more information to help us on this issue.

    What version of level pack XP\service do you have?
    Do you get any error messages?
    Are you able to navigate\open all items with your keyboard?  The main windows on the start menu open keyboard?
    If something has changed on the system recently (new hardware or software)?
    You are able to access your BIOS or screen boot options and navigate in their midst?
    Have you tried to boot mode safe?  If this is not the case, try to start safe mode and you will see if the elements are functioning normally.  This link talks about fashion without failure: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222

  • Cannot move the window after resizing

    Resize the Media Center window and inadvertently it moved off the screen.  I tried using the 'move' tab bar tasks, does not.  The multi-directional arrow appears, but can not grasp anything.  My 'reduced' Media Center window seems permanently blocked off-screen!

    I can only use enlarged, which is of course not what I want to do.

    When I "minimize", I see "stolen" to the left of the screen of the monitor.

  • jyutping

    I would like to type Chinese on the window Vista. I use this method of Chinese entry called "Jyutping". It is a phonetic system of Cantonese characters. I've heard that windows Vista already contains the Jyutping input method, and I need to install a software for it separately. However, I can't find this method in the control panel. Does anyone use this Chinese input method? Do you know how I can set it up on windows Vista and type Chinese like that?

    Thank you very much!

    I saw on another forum that in the add an input language menu, there is an option of "Chinese (traditional)" - Hong Kong Cantonese so that you choose (win 7-64 bit), but I can't find on my own. Can anyone help?

    I use Vista as my operating system. If you are using Windows 7, I don't know how many of the following may apply to you...
    Start button > Panel > Classic view > regional languages and > keyboard and languages > change keyboards > under services installed, scroll to find Chinese ZH (traditional, Hong Kong S.A.R.) > click which > click Add > scroll to find Chinese (traditional, Hong Kong S.A.R.), click on the sign out front + > click Open keyboard > put on check whatever you want > click OK when finished.

  • TextField focus

    Is there a way to set the focus to the TextField control?

    I'm looking for the same - want to be abe to open JavaScript in QML keyboard and set the focus to a different (specific) textbox without the user to type in this text box.

    EDIT: I found a solution for opening keyboard - although it is not entirely made of QML.

    Simply created class c ++ with the Q_INVOKABLE method called showVirtualKeyboard().

    Inside this method, I'll call you the

    virtualkeyboard_show();

    function that requires the

    bps/virtualkeyboard.h

    the header to include.

    Presentations of this class to use QML

    qml->setContextProperty("keyboardControl", myClass);

    and then called QML function:

    keyboardControl.showVirtualKeyboard();

    works very well.

    Now I can set the focus to the specific text in QML box by calling:

    myTextField.requestFocus();

    Works very well in Beta 3!
