  Thank you! What you suggested did not work for me exactly, however, it at least tells me what to look for and I could solve the problem.  When I logged on Tmobile.com, I saw any kind of text to open a session as an ENCORE, even after the search of that text string.  Instead, in the dialogue of your Blackberry Curve box, I clicked on accessories, then in charge of the next page, I clicked in the dialog of resources on the right, select Set Up Blackberry Internet Email.  My email accounts both came with options to edit, add filters or Delete.  If I click on change, the signature box and I can change it.  There may be several ways to get to this screen, it's just the method that worked for me.  Thanks for the compliment "handle" too!

  What was going on just before that this behavior started? A new application? An update? Something else? Think carefully, because the smallest thing could be causal... and cancel whatever it was to see if that clears the problem.

  Otherwise, it is likely that something has corrupted your OS BB, and a clean reload is necessary.

  At the top of each forum device, there should be some 'sticky' threads dealing with the level of the OS available for each model. Please use those as a reference as you go along.

  From a PC, you can install any compatible OS package (for example, for your BB model exact number) of a BB via this procedure:

  Tips to clear the message unread... try them in the order.

  If you have a new icon rogue Message on your home screen, or a negative number (-1), one of these solutions could erase or reset:

  Try these options:
  Open the yourMessages folder and select today's date, click on the menu button and then select Mark prior opened.
  * Hard Reset BlackBerry now ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or with the BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)
  Messages > saved Messages
  Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
  * Scroll at the top of the folder, on the title menu, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN date
  Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
  * Connect to Desktop Manager > backup/restore > advanced. On the right pane is the list of the data on your device. Scroll to the e-mail highlighted messages database, and then below, select TRANSPARENT. This will clear your system of all messages.
  * Clean and reload your OS.

  How can I stop the Blackberry apps listed in my current folder of messages?  I didn't ask all the apps but when I open the Messages folder they are listed at all times it - there is no facility to remove and if you touch them they simply open and try and make you buy or download the application.

  I just want to see my current unopened messages!

  Those are notifications of AppWorld. You already have at least two of the apps installed on your BlackBerry (BlackBerry Messenger and and the Windows Live Messenger in any case (the message says you 'upgrade' is available, therefore, you have already installed the application).)

  You can find the Windows Live Messenger application in your device to Options > device > application management. Highlight it and delete it. Do the same for BBMessenger if you wish.

  Hi, hoping someone can help me.

  I received my new beautiful BB 8900 yesterday and have so far download apps, red and send emails, have IM conversationsand, thanks to this forum, I now have my BB connected to my macbook via bluetooth.  Not bad for someone who is a total dunce with new technology!

  However, I notice that the general "messages" thingie (sorry, don't know what to call it!) pushes all the messages that I get from all accounts of mail electronics, sms and instant messages in the same folder.  I wish I could keep some messages of e-mail accounts and others in a different folder so I don't get to work and personal items mixed.

  Is it possible to do this?

  The main messages folder will receive all e-mails from sources, by default.

  You can remove the e-mail account BES in a case separated in two ways:

  (a) a policy of your BES Admin (see here and give it to them).

  (b) use Empower BES Inbox, here.

  Your SMS can be filtered to its own folder by opening your messages folder > Menu > Options > General Options > Email and SMS Inbox = distinct, then SAVE.

  Your BlackBerry Messenger Messages can be removed from the main messages to BBMessenger folder > Menu > Options > uncheck show the cats in the Application of Message =.

  I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come):

  (1) registry HRT

  • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

  (2) Service reference books

  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

  (3) restart to take batt

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS lines for these accounts.

• Do not produce messages blackBerry Smartphones BBM

  From about 12:30 last night my BBM messages stopped to deliver, it was more than 24 hours. Figure it would work perhaps himself, but there not yet and scans of Twitter and forums don't seem to be indicating any type of problem.

  The first step is to make sure that you did not accidentally hide the icon.  While on your home screen, press the menu key and select Show all or Unhide All if one is available.

  If this isn't the solution, you can get your icon back on BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Once you get the software and your phone, which is connected to your PC, gets recognized, click Applications on the left side of the software.  I believe you can recharge by placing a check mark next to text Messages (or SMS).  It's been long that I looked at Applications, so if this is not available, you can click on this device, the upper part of the software and then restore.  Choose the most recent restore point and reload it to recover your SMS icon.
