Message blackBerry Smartphone service not configured

Although I have set up my email on my Bold 9000 and I received mail ok, when I want to answer I get a message "no message services configured. You will only be able to save the project. What have I done wrong with the installation?

Hello!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come):

(1) registry HRT

  • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

(2) Service reference books

  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

(3) restart to take batt

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS lines for these accounts.

Okay, so I try to connect to AIM and MSN/WLM, but I get this message: «Service not enabled for this handheld» I'm honestly not very fluent in the language of the phone and I'm new to BlackBerry. So if anyone can help me it would be really appreciated. My service provider is T-Mobile, and I don't have a plan unlimited domestic Messaging. As far as I know well, who should have no impact on whether or not I can connect, so I don't know what to do.

You can get them to agree. That's THEIR problem. There is NOTHING you can do to make it work. Webmessenger is a third-party instant messaging client. You can download it directly to your phone by going to webmessenger.com on your phone. You can use AOL, yahoo, MSN, ICQ, google and jabber. It is not as "pretty" as the other instant messaging services, but it does the job.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not configure e-mail, the option is not available

    Hello

I just bought a new BB9790 and replace the sim card from my old BB9300 inside.

I still have the same provider, vodafone, so everything should work, but it doesn't.

I can't select the option to set up my e-mail account.

After discussing 5 times with vodafone yesterday they me told to contact Blackberry because it's not their problem, everything is configured correctly on their side.

I've tinkered a bit more and discovered that when I take out the sim card, reset the phone, I am able to select the mail account to set up a business account. don't have one so it does not work.

But as soon as I put in my sim card, I can not select the e-mail account.

I connected my BlackBerry ID and tried everything I could find on the internet, but it still does not work.

sending the phone back and get another probably won't solve the problem because it looks like a software issue or registration.

Who has a solution for this?

    Thank you, Monika

    Orange/EE addresses these issues.
You just have not found the right person yet.

Therefore, your BIS account is active. Now you need the service books to allow the configuration of personal messaging. EA can push those for you. Or, you can set up the account yourself at this link

    Hello

What was going on just before that this behavior started? A new application? An update? Something else? Think carefully, because the smallest thing could be causal... and cancel whatever it was to see if that clears the problem.

Otherwise, it is likely that something has corrupted your OS BB, and a clean reload is necessary.

At the top of each forum device, there should be some 'sticky' threads dealing with the level of the OS available for each model. Please use those as a reference as you go along.

From a PC, you can install any compatible OS package (for example, for your BB model exact number) of a BB via this procedure:

Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC. You can even use a different OS package carriers simply insert, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, a file named PROVIDER. XML. remember that you remove from your PC, no matter what other packages devices OS BB as having more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not configure the IMAP e-mail account

I'm trying to update the password IMAP on a Bold 9700, a process I did several times in a recent past.  However, on this particular device, I can't even on the menu for e-mail accounts.  Every attempt causes the message to ianane OS; "Your device had a problem connecting to the server."  I'm then to try again (an endless loop) or cancel.

I think it has something to do with my ISP (AT & T) because I had similar symptoms on another device (same model, w/o business security policies).  I was able to fix on the other device by removing the books of IMAP Service and then by doing a hard reset.  It does not work for BB problem.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

PS whatever it is, it's better than a horn in the neck... ask Julio Aparicio.

    Figured it out...

I used the web interface AT & T to set up the account, and it worked like a charm.  Here is the link:

  • BlackBerry smartphones "Service not enabled for this handset?

Hello, I just got my storm ahold (2nd hand) after too long dreaming of her. However if I try to use an application that requires internet access, he told me that it is not enabled for my device. Also it does not give me the possibility to implement my personal e-mail on the device - only gives me the option to use a work email account.

A few problems, but I thought a reset, or return to the default settings flatten out the problem. However I can't find this option anywhere.

Nobody knows where he is, and if it would work. If not, could you tell me how to remove locks on the device.

    Thank you!

You have all the blackberry plan with your carrier data?, because you need the data plan to configure emails, surf the web, blackberry messenger, etc.

    Hi raviv001

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

Have you tried a battery pull reboot? Otherwise, do it like this while your unit is on the battery and also the SIM card then wait a min... After that insert them back. After reboot to see if your device back to normal.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not configure e-mail

I just got my blackberry for Christmas and I used it when I try to set up my email address, it won't let me because the PIN has been used which can do?

If you talk about your BB PIN code feature, you will need to contact your service provider and have them reset/reactivate the PIN of your phone on the network.

You can try to do it manually first before calling them by going to Options > Security Options > General settings and press the [MENU] key.  Highlight "Reset of the main Radio" and click on it.  After a minute or two, it should reconnect to your cellular network and you can try to set up an address.

Edit: or 'used' device can mean actually "stolen" - and if this is the case, you're probably out of luck.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not connect to Internet / locked message screen

    Hello!!

I have 2 questions that I hope someone can answer.

#1), I have a unlocked new Curve 9300 OS5, checked with my cell phone provider to make sure that everything was compatible before I bought it. My cell phone operator's cellular consumption and their internet settings etc is the same as AT & T, but I am not able to connect to the internet. The phone I bought was a phone that has been configured for use with AT & T. My operator tells me that Blackberry phones are the only phones that they were not able to get to connect to the internet, all other phones that they have had no problem with, nice huh?  I do not understand why Blackberry phones, even those which is suitable for AT & T does not connect to the internet via cellular consumption, even using the same codes, or what you like AT & T, or so I thought. Someone, can someone help me to understand this or put me in touch with someone who can, I think Blackberry would learn this so that the problem can be solved, I know several people who would have liked to have bought Blackberry phones, but decided to not not having heard about my situation.

Locked screen message #2). I watched the video and followed the direction, made several times to ensure that I was not missing anything and I still can't display locked message to change the message resolved to plant in my message. Any thoughts on this problem?

Thanking all in advance for your time and your help.

    Heidi

#1) to connect to the Internet with a BlackBerry, you need to have a BlackBerry plan data. Without this, you will get no data service, apart from a few wifi on a BlackBerry Smartphone services.

(#2) you are sure that the device is 'new '? That the message is displayed on the lock screen?
