• Why the eyedropper tool is not copy text format?

  I'm new here and just started using InDesign CC.

  I know that with the eyedropper tool, you can choose a color and copy it somewhere else but I read it must also collect format attribute s (characters, the font size, color, etc.) and apply it to the rest of the text. However, it seems that this is not an option in my mac. Whenever I try to copy text attributes, it only takes the text color (usually black) and not the format.

  Look in the color Panel. The shade with the Untied border shift around it is one that will be changed by Opt/Alt-click when you use the Brush tool. Click on the one you want.

• The eyedropper tool does not work on mac + wacom

  Well - spent months and yet no update. The eyedropper tool won't come color using a wacom + a mac... and when you do that with the trackpad is not always the same exact color. I don't understand why this has not been set. The problem with the wrong color lasts for years--picking the wacom/mac problem lasts for at least 6 months. Please... put some serious effort into your product AND support.

  This has been fixed in the latest version animate CC 2015.2. Please update your copy of Flash/Animate CC at the latest (15.2.0.66) using your Creative Cloud Desktop application. Logout & Sign - in in case you don't see Animate CC 2015.2 in your creative cloud application.

• Change the text color with the eyedropper tool

  I've seen cc Photoshop tutorials where you can change the text color by using the eyedropper tool on the color swatch Panel. When the text is selected and the color swatch Panel is open. When I chose is which color I want out the color swatch Panel all them it does to change the foreground color and return to the soil box, why it changes the color of the text, as I have seen in tutorials?

  When highlighted often is difficult to tell what color the text. You can work around this by doing the above, pressing ctrl-H or cmd - H on the keyboard and the highlight will be removed, but the text remains selected. Its exactly the same procedure that you use to make the mobile dotted lines disappear just leaving an active selection. Obviously the text tool must be still in use for all this to work with text.

  Just downloaded and started using photoshop and the eyedropper tool is locked and also the paint bucket.

  Have you checked your permissions for Photoshop itself? You have all permissions for the version you are using? If this isn't the case, it's maybe why you can not use some tools. You can check and see if you have all the permissions for your version. If you are sure that you should maybe try a full uninstall with a deletion of file Photoshop 2015 and reinstall.  Source files cannot be installed correctly when they were mining and get on your computer. If you have saved your work in your Photoshop source file, try moving to a place of course before do you however. So you don't take any .psd files. When you reinstall it should not touch the .psd files. You will, however, when you do this, if you want to remove your preferences because they can ask questions.

  This bug is fixed in the latest version of CC animate (15.2.1)

  You can update your copy of Animate through the creative application of cloud and try it!

  Use the keyboard shortcut to set the default foreground sample.

  The sample of foreground (top left in the screen shot) is visible and you just click on the color with the eyedropper tool to change.

  You can also use x to exchange the undertone in the foreground if you want to change that.

  I am running CS5 but Illustrator was crashing when I use the eyedropper tool.

  I try downloading the update, but it gives me an error message.

  Anyone know if there is a specific update for El Capitan again?

• How can deselect an option button in the group 'Size', using Applescript to print several pages at 100%

  I hit a serious problem to update my application to use Adobe Acrobat DC 2015.

  I try to use the graphical interface to print multi-page documents but do not uncheck an option "Shrink oversized pages"button, checking a different 'Real size'button, in the same group. The two buttons are checked, and printing is by default the Junk button, print several pages on a sheet, instead of 100%.

  Anyone know of a different way to uncheck that darn button, or better yet, how to direct print the document. I can't find any online documentation of printing direct formatting.

  I need to print all pages, to 100%, with a particular printer, the "theLargePagePrinter". In addition, we use Pitstop Pro 13.

• The eyedropper tool does not work with a hue saturation adjustment layer

  I use PS CC 2014, and the problem I have is that when I have to use the eyedropper tool to adjust the range of colors affected by an adjustment layer Hue/Saturation, rather than selecting the color in the Properties window for the adjustment layer, use the eyedropper closed the window properties and change the foreground color in my palette.

  Here's the real hitch... the same thing happened to me at the school last night where a) the Mac is older and CS6 b) is always used.

  Probably a really stupid question, but I have designed a form and fill colors United 1 2 gradient fills. I'm trying to use the eyedropper tool to sample styles on another form-, but it is only picking up a fill; the top one in my sample shapes appearances. I want to taste ALL fills in, but can't seem to do it - can someone put out me of my misery?

  Hello, I am facing a strange problem with the eyedropper tool.

  The background is a gradient mesh (ignore the cross). I used the eyedropper tool (shift-click/normal-click both gave the same result) on the bottom and he gave me a strange result. As you can see, the background is blue - to-black gradation, but the color scheme is green-ish of nowhere.

  How can I solve this?

  It is only a problem with gradients as a gradient is an algorithm (formula) where all the colors are only those that are defined with the steps of color on the gradient tool (Control Panel). Intermediate colors are generated on the fly in the color space of the final output, which in this case is the color RGB (profile) of your monitor space. As a work around for what you can develop the gradient of steps or same rasterize is going to happen in the colorspace of the document and this will make all the color values actually described one by one in the illustrator vector object file or image raster and then the pipette will be able to take them as expected.

  A simple example that illustrates this: in a CMYK document, create a gradient with two stops in grayscale by 100% and 99%. then shift clicking on this slope will not come an expected color but if you spend the gradient in two steps, you'll get two items at 99% and 100%.
