• Lines every 1/8 inch when printing photo collage.

  Horizontal lines on my photo collage pprints.  The lines are 1/8 inch and appear on the top of page 1/3 of the page. I just bought my HP Envy 5530 all-in-one printer.   I had the same problem with the Photosmart 6510 except the lines were 1/2 inch apart & continues to the bottom of the full page.  both printers work fine for print ordinary & copy. If this problem cannot be solved, I'll have to return the 5530 still under warranty.  I tried all the troubleshooting suggested on the site and as suggested by the representatives via telephone, who do not understand the problem!

  Each generation of printers requires a different software. New printers to print HP Photo Creations software. This software should be on the CD that came with the printer or you can download it from the following link:

• Option to delete rejected photos of drive disappeared - how do?

  I am in LR 5.7.1 through a CC license. Until the more earlier in the day, I had an option to delete rejected photos from disk. It was consulted and presented as an option whenever I clicked on 'Delete rejected photos' tab 'photos' (Library module). Now by clicking on "Delete rejected photos" gives only the option of removing photos from Lightroom. This however, only removes them from the catalog - and they remain on the hard drive. For someone who has 200 k disk pictures, would take me years to browse and find the photos I had deleted the catalog Lightroom and deleting in the file too.

  I can't believe that he is no longer a way to remove photos from disk via Lightroom. This function has been uninstalled by an update, and how can I get it back? This is essential to manage my catalog - and I can't believe I'm the only one having this problem...!

  I found the problem. This works if you are in the complete catalog - I was in a collection. Problem solved, I think only phew... Thanks john for your advice above...

  As an experience, create a new file with something on this topic in PSE, then save it (save as) in JPEG on your desktop.

  I tried to produce a photo collage in accordance with the instructions on the very useful instructional videos, however, all I get is an error message "apply layout" any help please. ?

  Try to reset the preferences of the Editor: exit then restart while now ctrl + alt + shift. keep the keys down until you see a screen asking you if you want to delete the settings file. You do.

• Size of Photo collage

  I'm the editor of photoshop elements 9 and would like to make a montage of three photographs. I used the help of collage function. Unfortunately the collage function only allows me to choose among 3 sizes for the final image. Is it possible to change the size individually. Or are there other features that I can use to create a photo where I combines three pictures into a single long image (like a panorama photo, only three pictures have nothing in common)

  Just use queue... New... PhotoMerge panorama.  Select the images you want to use and deselect 'Images Blend Together'.  Use the "Interactive" mode (the option in the lower left).

  PSE9 will attempt to create a panorama, and if that fails, displaying an error message.  Just click 'OK' to that, and you'll get a Publisher full screen where you can manually drag and drop your pictures to the desired positions.  Yet once, deselect "Blend images" and answer "No" to the prompt to fill in the gaps.  Click 'OK' and PES will create the long 'collage' you're looking for, with a transparent area between images.

  Time Machine is the best option. You will need an external drive to store the backups, 2 to 3 times the size of the drive is internal.

• Wallpaper Options show all my photos?

  Here's a strange who just started the other day. Whenever I go to change my wallpaper in my control panel to screen, I click Display > Desktop and then my PC freezes for a minute. When it thaws I suddenly show each link to every image on my PC as an option in the background area? At this point, I can always go in to find the photo I want.

  I am running XP Pro Version 2002 SP3 on a HP dc5850

• A4 photo print option not available in photo print photosmart software 7510

  I can print pictures of A4 size directly from the printer memory card, but in editing software from my computer, only 6 x 4 or 7 x 5 options are available to choose from. any ideas how I can get the printer to print photos computer A4?

  Hi, my response previous, I downloaded the printer driver update from the HP website and that seems to have solved my problem as A4 appears now as a digital photo option!

  Hello.. I'm new to post here so please be patient if I don't do it right the first time I'm also quite new to Photoshop elements 14.

  I would like to know if there is a way to make a Photo montage in Photoshop elements 14 in a format that can be projected on a screen.

  I make collages of pictures of a series of photographs for a birthday party, which will be then projected on a screen via a computer, either from USB or disc.   I know how to make collages in 14 elements, but I don't know how to get them in a format that can be placed on a USB port or a disk.   I don't even know if you can do it, so any help would be appreciated.

  I know how to do a single photo in JPEG format, but it seems not to be collages of photos the only formats I have are PDF or PSE.  I have no idea what they are and if either one is suitable for the project that I do as this is the first time that I even did.  Once again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

• Shuffle option in service Touchpad Photo exhibition

  I copied about 10 GB of Photos organized into records of 50 or 60 above my new Touchpad. Everything seems to work fine but the Shuffle button described in the documentation of exposure does not appear. I don't know where the slide show from, but the photos seem to be displayed in the order. Command buttons only two that show in the application are timer option button and the Play/Pause button. According to aid information are also supposed to be a shuffle button causing pictures to display in random order. I do not use the touchstone charger.

  Y at - there a trick to getting the shuffle button are not or the service of the exhibition to display photos in random order?

  According to one response on the other forum, the version of the TouchPad of exposure does not shuffle option, it's on the SmartPhone version.

  Backblaze in particular, but it would be for any backup or future software I guess.

  Tags are stored in the file in your catalog. If you want to have them available after a disk crash, you should make regular, automated backups of your catalog on a different physical disk files. You can enable this in Lightroom via settings-> General-> Backup catalog. Note: you should always take backups of your photos, this feature in Lightroom doesn't have backups of your photos.

  If at some point you consider moving away from Lightroom, you can also write tags to the photos themselves (or in the case of RAW for the XMP sidecar files). This can be done by selecting all the photos and metadata-> saves the metadata of files (Note: this will take a lot of time if you have selected a large number of photos). You can also turn on the option to automatically catalog settings-->--> write metadata changes automatically to XMP. Any tags written via this method is readable by any other photo app that I know.

  It is possible to make a collage manually and it is quite easy.

  Click file > Open and select all your pictures

  Who will add them to the project location

  Then select file > New > empty file

  Select the color white (or whatever you prefer) and add your width and height of your final image (setting resolution 72 for the use of web or 240 to 300 for printing), and then click OK

  In the project bin, click your first picture and drag it to the top in the main window on top of your new background.

  Click on the move tool and click the center of the photo and drag to arrange where you want on the background - you can hold down shift to maintain the original proportions while dragging the handles of corner of the bounding box for the size you want.

  Do the same with the next photo (drag it to the top in the main window) and use the move tool to position it. Then continue with each image.

  Finally click on layer > flatten image and save it in jpeg format. (Save as PSD if you want to keep the layers to change again)

  Note: when you add pictures that they removed in the Center. If you use the move tool to drag the apart. Click in the middle of one and move around and then the other until you get them positioned as desired.

  When you click again with the tool move a selection border appears around the image and you can drag the corner handles to resize your photos. Hold down the SHIFT key when you drag the angle handle, and which retains the proportions of the original.

  Finally click on layer > Flatten Image and save your collage - you may then want to use the crop tool to cut any excess white canvas and then save.

• Photo Collage in Photoshop problem

  Yesterday, I went into Google images and copied the pictures and then use the option paste in Photoshop.

  Today, when I select a photo in Google, choose Select all and copy and then go into Photoshop the paste option does not seem to be available.  I don't know if I have something running or something locked in Photoshop.

  Can anyone help.  Please be specific re: icons or options I choose because I'm quite new with Photoshop and don't know what else to say.

  You can not stick if there is nothing on the clip board.

  just open the images in photoshop and drag the photos to a fram to those that want them.
