Option of unstable lens correction

Hey dear community

I have a problem to work with FIXED OPTICS option in a specific case

In the annex, I give two screenshots of a picture of a tree

One is with correction of the goal off the coast and the other without.

What happens is, there's an arround "shadow" the Crown of the tree leave, when lens correction is enabled.

Whe I disellect the lens correction option everything is ok.

The thing turns me crazy is that I can disellect of adjustment of the optical correction of chapter and that never give the effect, this picture is correct, as the total chapter disellection.

System, I work with > > > LR5.7.1 > > Mid 2010 RAM 8GByte, OS X 10.11.2 MACBookPro > > NIKON D800 photo

Someone has a simular problem and found a solution and would like to share with me?

If something not clear, please, let me know

Thanks in advance for the help

And greetings from Frankonia

Check the sliders of fringe on the lens Corrections section (Farbe) color space.  Do the two sliders of sum zero.  It is likely that you have applied green defringing and color range includes a little green and sky blue leaves:

The problem is maybe that you have amounts not void for the sliders fringe configured as default LR or as part of a "Preset" you apply to many images and shouldn't because defringing must be set individually for each image as a set of values does not work for all images.

If you have areas of the image that need defringing green/blue, then instead of the defringing to the entire image and parts accidentally desaturation of trees and sky, disable defringing in the region of lens Corrections and use a setting with a brush amount of fringe non-zero and the paint on the edges which really need defringing.

There is a new "Transform" Panel, in which some functions have been moved.

"Lens Corrections" are now exclusively dealing with aberrations of goal and CA - either with a profile, or manual.

'Transform' is where the adjustments from the point of view (which were never, strictly speaking, lens corrections in itself).

    Hello

I see my exact Sigma lens profile in my Lr 5.7.1 record (SIGMA 150-600 mm F5-6. 3 DG OS HSM C015)-RAW.lcp)- but it's as an option in the dropdown of my Module development lens Corrections unselectable.

  • Can I just apply Lens Corrections profile without fixation of the Chromatic Aberration on import?

    Hello

I work with lightroom on OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 5.7.1

I built a lightroom preset with "lens Corrections/Lens profile Corrections" checked as well as the 'process' and 'Calibration '. They are the only 3 boxes checked and therefore "Aberration of Corrections / chromatic lens" is not checked.

The preset apply lens profile correction successfully when I use it in the develop module. However, when I use it on import, the 'remove the Chromatic Aberration' box ends up also being checked in the develop module lens Corrections Panel.

    Is this normal?

Can I just apply Lens Corrections profile without fixation of the Chromatic Aberration on import?

    Concerning

'Remove the Chromatic Aberration' is probably from your default development module settings. I don't know if it is the default value for the installation, but you can change it. You will need to do this for each camera model that you use:

    (1) open a raw file in the develop module and click on the Reset button at the bottom of the right panel area. This returns all your development settings to their default settings.

    (2) check or uncheck the option 'Remove the Chromatic Aberration' under correction lenses as you wish.

    (3) press and hold the ALT key and then click on the button Reset, which should now say "Set Default".

    (4) in the pop-up, click "Update to current settings".

  • After hdr pro, LR does not have lens correction correct.

When I take pictures with my Canon ESF objective USM 15-85, LR4 acknowledges the lens and will be automatically correct. However, if I take several pictures with this lens, open to LR4 and transfer to CS5 hdr pro, when I transfer to LR4, LR4 does not list this lens as an option for the correction of the goal. I can the corrrect product hdr lens in CS5 before transfer back to LR. Which is the best solution, or I do something wrong in LR4? Should I lens correct each frame in LR4 before transfereing CS5 HDR Pro? Moreover, I had the same problem with LR3.

    DT

The goal is not listed because you reimport a file (TIFF or PSD not RAW) which could have originated or been rendered with the incorrect correction.  Another example of this is that the choice of lens correction differ between CR2 and JPEG.

I apply lens correction to HDR and panoramas before editing in CS5, but try to minimize other develop to ensure the consistency of the handover.  A relevant light bracket with panoramas, which might not be relevant to you and certainly are pedantic, strict accuracy try to avoid adjustments that are Adaptive image (in black LR4, white, highlight, shadow) to develop before yielding to the CS5 because the strength of the adjustment varies with the content of the image. that is the same setting of the cursor has a different effect in an image of sky dominated than on a dominated shadow image light.

  • Support for profile lens corrections are not not in Lightroom 3.2

I installed the Lightroom 3.2 update, which includes the list of support for the 'Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II' lens.  I pulled a number of pictures with this lens (using a Canon T1i) and load them into Lightroom.  In the metadata for the photos, the lens was called "EF50mm f/1.8 II.

Within the "Lens Corrections" section of Lightroom, the option 'Auto' reports "Could not find a profile matching automatically."  I tried manually to the list of Canon lenses, and it is not on the list.

    In the folder
    / Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/1.0/Canon/
I see a file corresponding to this objective
    Canon EOS 5 d Mark II (Canon EF 50mm f1.8 II) - RAW.lcp
but it is not with only one specific body.
I tried to manually install the update to Camera Raw 6.2, but he noted "update is not applicable."  Given the above file, I suspect that it was already installed.
In the release notes, which entered the Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8 II lens, it does not mention that the support was limited to only a certain camera body.  Could someone help me please?  Thank you!

  • Application of Lens Correction batch does not

Using LR3, I can adjust the lens correction, then go to 'Develop settings/copy settings' and the option is there for the correction of the goal (I checked all the boxes under lens correction).  If I stick the adjustments to a photo, correction of the objective applies.  However, if I select several images to apply to, it applied to the first image.  So now my fingers are worn to manually apply 275 times (with ctrl/shift/v then right arrow, repeat).

Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong.

    TIA!

Sync asks you what to synchronize, like copy.

  • Olympus E - P1 Support / Lens Corrections?

Hey there, I recently took an Olympus E - P1 with 14-42mm lens.  I've updated to ACR 5.5, then now Lightroom and Bridge can open RAW (ORF format) files.  The Adobe's DNG Converter also works on these files.

However, none of these result correct barrel distortion, which is noticeable with the shots of 14mm.  I don't see an option to manually control the lens distortions in LR or ACR.  Photoshop CS4 has a lens correction filter, but it does not work as well as the software Olympus Master (their software to work with RAW files).

Any ideas on that?  If LR / ACR automatically correct barrel distortions, or am I missing a setting?

Unfortunately, LR does not any optical correction except vignetting correction.

You can use PTLens (external). http://epaperpress.com/PTLens/

  • The Photoshop lens correction crashing made video

    Hello.

I did a video shoot of a marriage with a Go Pro camera. The video only fish expected eye view. So to convert the video to a smart object and apply a correction of the lens. When I try to make the video with the correction of the lens, I get a windows error saying that your system is low on memory and photoshop will crash. If I make the video with optical correction, it works normally.

I suspect a leak memory in the lens correction in Photoshop part.

When you work with the video you want to keep your number of encoding to a minimum, so I rather wouldn't it but GoPro Studio first just to remove fisheye. Any body have a work around for this?

    Thank you mike.

I don't have a video.  If you really want to make the video and edit it well you should use applications video adobe first Pro and After effects. You know for sure, you have a problem with your great video with fisheye, you want defish.  If this is a bug in CS6 it will not be fixed.  DOE Adobe does not support older versions of their Applications.   I also think to make a video well the requirement of the machine would be very probably higher then the requirement of Photoshop.

    Hello

The correction lens in unicameral raw function doesn't seem to be there more? It is abandoned, does automatic or moved?  One of the photos I took has a slight pin cushion and I normally set my goal and use the correction of lens that was moored the tabs manual and color in camera raw to the menu correction lens.

Any help or assistance would be great.

Which version of photoshop and the operating system are you using?

Looks like your using the Camera Raw filter, which does not have lens corrections

    Filter > Camera Raw Filter

The lens corrections are only in the version of camera raw full you get if you use file > Open or bridge and charge a camera raw file

  • Manual lens correction works not properly.

I am trying to correct the perspective of an image in lightroom or in the vertical and horizontal manual lens corrections are not working properly, they are extending to the image in a weird way. I used these cursors repeatedly but I don't know why sometimes, they stretch the image. Here's a video that shows the effect of cursors: Lightroom: manual lens correction works not properly - YouTube. I would like your opinion on this is that you know how I can solve this problem. Thank you

Controls LR Vertical and Horizontal Correction lens are designed to 'fix' the perspective distortion. What is the perspective of "normal"?

Normal lens - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lenses wide angle move the vanishing points more far and telephoto lenses get the close.

    https://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Perspective_distortion_%28photography%29

LR Vertical and Horizontal controls use the focal length and camera metadata from the image file and adjust the image based on its effective focal length. A goal of 200mm if on a 1.5 crop body factor has an effective focal length of 300mm, resulting in an extreme telephoto perspective. That's why you see more "stretch" the image when you adjust the Vertical control, with a focal length lenses below)<>

The image file video YouTube has vertical converging vertical very light, slight clockwise rotation and distortion in light pad. You should be able to correct the image for parallel verticals with small values of Vertical and Rotation adjustment. I suggest using "Activate profile Corrections" (profile tab) to fix the small amount of lens distortion.

So always questions please post the image file on Dropbox or other filesharing site and I'll take a look. Thank you.
