  To create the RoboHelp project, I imported a Word document, which created a topic for each section. Now, besides HTML help, I want to generate documentation printed in PDF format.
  
  How can I create numbered titles (for example, 1, 1.1, 1.1.4 etc.) in the output PDF file?
  I don't want to "hard code" these numbering in the topics itself in the HTML code, because the insertion of a title would result in the manual update of all of the following points as well.
  

  There is only one solution to workaround:
  -leave out numbers in RoboHelp
  -generate a Word first
  -set the dial plan, which numbers all the stars as requires it
  -update the table of contents in Word
  -generate PDFS

• Cross-references in the output PDF from Framemaker: how to center the Pages?

  I think I understand quite well the functioning of cross-references in Framemaker, but one thing that bothers me, it's how, when you generate a PDF from Framemaker file and clicking on a reference, the resulting page view locates the cross at the top of a page reference marker.

  It's very annoying and confusing when, say, referring to a figure of legend that appears at the bottom of a page. Page display that results when such a reference in a PDF document after Center the text of the _following_ page, with the text of the legend of the barely visible figure at the top of the page.

  My question: is it possible to build cross references that show the page, when you click in a PDF document, is centered on the page that displays the cross-reference material?

  Not AFAIK in FrameMaker.

  But in Acrobat, set the initial view one Page instead of continuous.

  File > properties > Initial View.

  The back is InDesign and the top is the eBook. The space above the first bar (PT. 6, style deep box. 11/13, 10 pts preceding, no below) Green is good in the eBook. Head of the idea of teaching (10/13, 3. pts above. 2 below) has good space above and below in InDesign, ugly space above into an eBook. Text is 10/12.5 with no secondary attack added above or below and the lower green bar (another box of 6 pt, 4 points above and 1 p 1 below) has too much space above and not enough below into an eBook. Can someone explain what could happen? Also, can you suggest a good source to learn how to format for eBooks (fine with formatting for printing, just need to know what to do differently to e-books, which are the quirks to watch.) I would really appreciate it. It was my 600th book (+/-) in print, but it's my first eBook.

• Creation of files PDF RoboHelp adds in unnecessary indentation in the output file

  Everyone knows that when you create a PDF file of your source of RoboHelp, on certain pages of the PDF output, there is a large dash added to certain pages? He pushes the text on the pages to the right. It does not appear to be linked to any particular type of formatting in the source file. It happens with h1s, p tags, and and the ol and ul tags.

  Is this something that happens when converting Word, or is it something that can be controlled in the source of RoboHelp project? What can be done to prevent this indenting. I have several outputs that I need to generate and would rather avoid having to change each Word file.

  I enclose a photo that shows what I mean. The text is almost aligned under the header.

  , which seemed to force indentation when we generated PDFs. remove tags

  source prevented indentation that occur in the output PDF file.

• LaserJet P1606dn: does not print the background of the page number of manual

  I use the HP Laserjet P1606dn printer.  I am trying to print the user's Guide the HP for a new printer HP Officejet Pro 8620.     The manual is in PDF format.   When you view a page of the manual on the computer screen, the page number appears at the bottom of the screen.  Unfortunately, when printing the printer manual HP Laserjet P1606dn, the page number is not printing.  I tried to use the SHRINK TO FIT to the Laserjet function, but that does not print the page number.

  Thank YOU FOR YOUR QUICK RESPONSE!   PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED.  I TRIED TO PRINT THE GUIDE THE USER DIRECTLY FROM THE WEB SITE THAT DID PRINT NOT PAGE NUMBER.    I DOWNLOADED THE MANUAL IN THE MEMORY OF THE COMPUTER AND THEN PRINTED THE GUIDE FROM THE DOWNLOADED FILE.   THE PAGE NUMBER DID PRINT WHEN YOU PRINT FROM THE DOWNLOADED FILE.    WHY IT WORKED, I DON'T KNOW, BUT CELA WORKED.

• How to make the comments to reference absolute instead of relative page number page number?

  I would like to know if it is possible to comments reflect the number of absolute page (aka the body page number) instead of the page number (aka the page number of the PDF doc).  For example, let's say I have a 10 page PDF, but it's really an excerpt from a larger work, so its body pages begin on page 23 and go to page 33.  I know how to renumber the pages, but when I make a comment on the first page (absolute page number 23, number 1 of the page), the comment is associated with page 1.  I want the comment itself to recognize/hold account that he has associated with body page 23, not 1.  Is this possible?

  Is there a solution to the table of contents of style then the page number never ends on the left side? Everything works fine if the topics listed in the TOC spans on one or more lines.

  But if the listed topic ends exactly at the end of a line (in the table of contents), the page number appears on the left side of the next line. (I have a ^ t between the entrance and the number in the table of contents style.) If a single word in flows in the line below, the table of contents correctly adds the... (dotted) and place the pagenumber to the right.

  Can I modify the paragraph Style from table of contents or TOC Style so that the number is right-aligned, even if there is no prior entry (which is on the line above).
