  I changed the filter AGENT to include all THE option.

• LR4 Rectangle box missing in the Menu filter graduated

  Hi all

  First question in the forum, could not find any relevant messages to my problem...

  Windows 7 64 bit family Premium Edition 2009

  LR 4.4

  Try to improve the images using the graduated filter.

  Graduated filter settings box appears and I can move the sliders, but there is no way to select the area of the image to apply the filters. On the pages of tutorial, I see a selection box rectangle next to the word color in the menu of graduated, filter settings on my version of LR, this box is missing.

  When I move the cursor over the image with the GF menu open, I get the cross cursor, but when I click on the image goes completely gray (disappears) and I have to load an image duplicated library.

  I downloaded the latest version of the LR4 and reinstalled, but the problem persists.

  I disabled my accelerations of improvements and NVIDIA graphics cards.

  Any help greatly appreciated - I am really frustrated with this problem and have searched for a solution for a few weeks now.

  Here is a screenshot of what looks like my LR with the graduated filter active (my elipse showing where the rectangle box is supposed to be)...

  Another couple of things you can try:

  1. in the graduated filter Panel, click on "Custom" for the dropdown menu, select restore the default Presets.   Then again click Customize and select color.  I get a box of dark blue color.

  2. double-click on the label of 'Color' to the left of the where the box should be.  Normally, clicking on the label (for example an exhibition) it reverts to its default value.

  The assumption here is that, somehow, the current custom settings for color has an invalid value 'poison' that causes LR to travel upward.

• Newbie HELP-Rectangle box

  I'm new to InDesign.  The guy who used to take care of our company directory in InDesign on the left.  I know very little about this software.  It has been days of trial and error, but am making progress.  I have the phone book for almost where I want to (I think), but can't figure out how to get rid of the outline of the rectangle box around the text.  I created the box by selecting the rectangle icon off the coast of the toolbar on the left, but I don't want the outline around the text that I put in.  Any help would be highly appreciated.  I'm an admin of systems AS400, not a graphic designer, so learn this stuff is like learning another language

• Strange looking for opacity rectangle box

  Update of X to DC and have a 'problem' with an annotation. After you have created a rectangle and applying opacity, things look strange to me. Is it as it was designed, or it could also be a hardware problem. (hoping for the latter). Also, this occurs not only on an image (eps), but also on the text.   Wow! It's crazy! I was able to reproduce the problem. I suspect that this is not how it should work.

  I was able to reproduce the problem in Acrobat, but then I also tried to reproduce the effect in InDesign, using various blend modes. While I'm sure it's a question of merging, I wasn't able to understand math to determine what type of blend mode is at the origin of the problem. And why the hell is he a blending mode at first?

  Just out of curiosity, I turned on the release preview to see the hat that was going on behind the scenes. And it's completely nonsense!

  

  Once again, out of curiosity, I crushed comments (using a flattening script), and here's what I got. It now looks exactly as it should!

  

  I use transparent drawing semi annotations for about six years (Document Geek: derivative of a PDF file that contains no police), and this is the first time I saw tis problem. While I find it interesting that Adobe has finally built a blending mode in the drawing markup tools, I suspect that it was an accident. However, if they added a user interface and predictability to it, that it would actually make sense (like many other ideas I did here: Document Geek: my ideas for how InDesign and Acrobat can be improved (ideas Kickstarter). )

  You are the only person (besides me) that I've ever known to use transparency in drawing annotations. There are so few of us, perhaps, Adobe is not yet aware of this problem. I would say a bug here report: adobe.ly/BugReport

  So if it is imperative to use the transparent drawing semi annotations, I recommend from Acrobat XI. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. For your sake, I wish it was a hardware problem.

• How to make a curved rectangle box online

  started using Illustrator and love it but I am not sure how to do something.  What I have done, is to create a basic card which has a white background.  I would like that the bottom half of the map to be a different color, so I added a blue block using the rectangle tool. That looks great, but I would like that the top line of the rectangle, which is located in the middle of the map, to be in a wave like shape.

  You apply a layer Style to a shape layer? If so, set the Position for the race "inside".

  You can also get sharp corners of rectangles using the path to the Rectangle tool, rather than the shape layer option and then stroking the path with the pencil tool in the form of square brush tip. With the path is active, select the pencil tool, with the size of the desired point, press ENTER, or use the drop down in the Panel traced and select the pencil tool.

  As there are always at least three ways to do anything in Photoshop, you could also use the rectangular selection tool, with zero fading and then edit > Stroke, again attributing the position inside.

  The last two methods shall be fitted to a normal layer, not on a fill or shape layer. The first method has the advantage that you can change the path, and the race will follow along. With the other two, you will have to re-race if you change the path or the marquee.
