ORA-01111: 129 data file name is unknown

I have a 10.2.0.1 databases and a watch on another server on which recovery logs apply every 15 minutes.

I have added a new file to the primary db backup server drive was full, so when he tried to automatically failed.

I resolved the issue of space, but now I get the following error:

ORA-00283: cool cancelled due to errors
ORA-01111: name for the data file 129 is unknown - rename it to the correct file
ORA-01110: data file 129: "C:\ORACLE\ORA10G\DATABASE\UNNAMED00129."
ORA-01157: cannot identify/lock data file 129 - see DBWR trace file
ORA-01111: name for the data file 129 is unknown - rename it to the correct file
ORA-01110: data file 129: "C:\ORACLE\ORA10G\DATABASE\UNNAMED00129."

I tried to manually copy the files from the live database and I tried a command alter database rename file but that tells me name change is not allowed if management standby is set to automatic. I had a search but cannot see a solution, any ideas?

Thank you
Robert

Step 1:-check the name of the data file on the backup database

Select name from v$ datafile; -This command should display the name of the data file as UNNAMEDxxxxx

STEP 2:-ON THE BACKUP DATABASE
ALTER system set standby_file_management = "manual";

Step 3:-rename the data file
ALTER database create datafile 'C:\ORACLE\ORA10G\DATABASE\UNNAMED00129' as 'C:\ORACLE\ORA10G\DATABASE\actual_dbfile_name.dbf '.

Step 4:-on the backup database
ALTER system set standby_file_management = "auto";

Step 5:-on the backup database
recover managed standby database disconnect;

    If it's just a personal folder, and then right-click on the file, select Rename , then change the name to what you want and press enter. Avoid changing the file extension (.jpg in this case) as it may cause problems with it being recognized as the wrong file type.

  • Restore rman 10g with different data file name.

    Hi all.

    I am successful restoration sauvegardΘ (Veritas Netbackup) one 10.2.0.5 database.

    The original database was a 2 node Rac 10.2.0.5 on asm without OMF.

    I'm trying to restore on another host with the same version 10.2.0.5 and even platform (Sparc Solaris), but single instance database.

    RMAN complete successfully, the restore, but the names of the data files are different from what is written in the controlfiles so

    the database can go up but not open.

    It is not only a question of path, the look of database for a file of data like this:

    System.261.622119076 (the right way of the asm source environment)

    but instead, rman restore this data as a file

    o1_mf_system_2ixfh90q_.dbf

    This seems a name OMF.

    I don't understand the reason.

    Can I use the command set newname for each data file?

    I don't think it was possible for Oracle create two data files in the same directory with exactly the same data file for a tablespace name.

    The difference between the two seems to be the sizes - one is 10G, the other is 10 m autoextend on but with maximum size is equal to the size of create.

    It is not possible to table either both are full.

    One of them is 2 characters at least other two. You have twice ascii code 32, it's space.
    What happens if you run now:

    select file_id,file_name from dba_data_files
    where file_name='/NEXWPLPR/dbase/wpdata/wp_data02.dbf  ';

    Notice the 2 spaces at the end.

  • sqlldr: use data = file name, but also 'fix'...

    Hello

    I would like to know if it helps to specify the size of record for example, "fix 96" in a direct charge.
    the recording is fixed and has decimal/characters only.

    In this case, how can I specify that the rec is "fix" without Hardcoding the file name in the control file?

    It seems he can follow only INFILE, which involves hard - coded file name but I want the file name for the ctl file becomes reusable.

    for example, data sqlldr = < Filename > "Challenge 96" control = < generic_controlfile >

    Thank you.

    Rustydud

    You can generate your control on the fly file. For example, under unix

    Start with a generic.ctl file:

    ...
    INFILE %filename% "fix %recsize%"
    ...

    Now provide the actual values you want:

    filename=$1
    recsize=$2

    cat generic.ctl | sed -e s/%file%/$filename/ | sed -e s/%recsize%/$recsize >/tmp/specific.ctl

    sqlldr u/p control=/tmp/specific.ctl

    Any use to you?

  • ORA-19846: cannot read the header of the data file of the remote site 21

    Hello

    I have a situation or I can say a scenario. It is purely for testing base. Database is on 12.1.0.1 on a Linux box using ASM (OMF).

    Standby is created on another machine with the same platform and who also uses ASM (OMF) and is in phase with the primary. Now, suppose I have create a PDB file on the primary of the SEED and it is created successfully.

    After that is a couple of log, do it again passes to the waiting, but MRP fails because of naming conventions. Agree with that! Now, on the primary, I remove the newly created PDB (coward the PDB newly created). Once again a couple of switches of newspapers which is passed on to the wait. Of course, the wait is always out of sync.

    Now, how to get back my watch in sync with the primary? I can't roll method until the required data (new PDB) file does not exist on the main site as well. I get the following error:

    RMAN > recover database service prim noredo using backupset compressed;

    To go back to November 8, 15

    using the control file of the target instead of recovery catalog database

    ORA-19846: cannot read the header of the data file of the remote site 21

    The clues on how to I go ahead? Of course, recreating the eve is an option as its only based on test, but I don't want recreation.

    Thank you.

    I tried like below:

    1 a incremental backup of the primary of the CNS where off the eve also taken primary backup controlfile as Eve format.

    2 copy the backup of the watch parts, catalogged them on the day before.

    3 recovered Eve with noredo option - it fails here with the same error pointing to the 21 data file.

    OK, understood. Try not to get back the day before first, rather than restore the controlfile and then perform the restoration.

    Make it like:

    1. take incremental backup of primary SNA, also ensures the backup controlfile format.

    2. copy pending, get the location of the data file (names) by querying v$ datafile on the eve. Restore the controlfile ensures from the backup controlfile you took on primary and mount.

    3. Since you are using OMF, the path of primary and standby data file will be different. (/). If you require catalog data from the database files pending.

    (Reason: you restore controlfile from elementary to step 2, which takes place from the main access road). Use the details that you obtained in step 2 and catalog them.

    4. turn the database copy by RMAN. (RMAN > switch database to copy ;))

    5 Catalog backup items that you copied in step 2.

    6. recover the standby database using 'noredo' option.

    7. finally start the MRP. This should solve your problem.

    The reason I say this works is because here, you restore the controlfile to primary first, which will not have details 21, datafile, and then you are recovering. So it must succeed.

    In the previous method, you tried to first collect all the day before, and then restore the controlfile. While remedial classes, always watch seeks datafile 21 as he controlfile is not yet updated.

  • Option to enter the name of data file in SQL * Loader

    Hello

    I have a requirement to enter the name of the data file in the staging table, is it possible that I can capture in SQL * Loader or any other way to do it.

    Need suggestion of experts please.

    Thank you

    Genoo

    Genoo salvation,

    Please have the basename command in Linux to enter the name of the file that is currently running. I don't have a linux machine at the moment access, so please check at your end.

    BTW, as you file name of variant data in and values not consistent, you need to change the data file to include the file name. Unless it is approved for your management I don't see alternatives like the fill source tables are the data file. If this is approved then you can do the following:

    SED EI / $/ ' basename $0' /'-i '.

    Thus, for example, if you have a data file name 01test.csv, and it contains data such as:

    11, AAA, ABC

    22, BBB, BCD

    The command: sed EI / $/, ' basename $0' /'-i 01test.csv will go to:

    11, AAA, ABC, 01test.csv

    22, BBB, BCD, 01test.csv

    Then use SQL Loader to load the file

    It is the closest solution to you, I can think. There is no way that you can achieve your goal of features SQL Loader but rather, you should use technical Linux for a work around.

    Best regards

  • Why the file name of the file as an attachment with Annotations "attach a file" (trombone) become unknown when the observations are published?

    Our company recently purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro XI intended to be used for shared electronic reviews.  We use the send for shared review in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, and all the comment tools work as expectedexcept the trombone in Annotations.

    When a Word or Excel or Image (png, jpeg) file is attached using the trombone of Annotations, the initiator may initially see and open. But once feedback is enabled and the review file is closed, the file 'Name' becomes 'Unknown' (even if the Description is the correct file name and extension).  Change information are unknown, such as size and compressed size.

    When the control file is then reopened, even the initiator cannot open the file, although:

    • The location of the file is marked with the paper clip in the document.
    • The file name is displayed in the list of comments with the name of the initiator.
    • In the list of attachments (the paper clip under the thumbnails and bookmarks), the name appears as unknown, shows the file name Description, update is unknown, the size is unknown and compressed size is unknown.

    The file name cannot be published, although the Description file can be.

    We have followed the procedure described in the tutorials but may not know how to resolve this situation.  As this feature was the reason for the purchase of Adobe Acrobat Pro IX, we would any help. Please leave out the basics because we are new users.

    We have several people with Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and the rest have Adobe Reader XI is a Windows platform.  Can someone please give us some advice how to get this function runs as described?

    The bug is fixed in the latest Adobe Acrobat Pro XI 11.0.09 update (update: in Acrobat Pro, go to help-> Check for Updates...).

    Hi all

    I have the following problem.

    Oracle Enterprise Linux 64-bit 11.2.0.2.0

    ORA-01110: data file 13: ' / oracle1/11.2.0.2/dbs/UNNAMED00013'

    According to the MOS it says I should rename database in standby mode, but it does not allow me to do so, it is said that dB must be open; but I can't open it because it is a standby DB.

    Even if I want to open read-only, it says:

    SQL > create default profil_utilisateur identified by Neil Leal Microsoft account unlock default tablespace usmantbs;
    SQL > grant connect, resources for Neil;

    I CONNECTED WITH Neil as USER AND CREATED a TABLE.

    SQL > conn Leal/Leal
    SQL > create table baseball (id number (9));

    SQL > select current_scn from v$ database;

    CURRENT_SCN

    545863

    Then I deleted the tablespace including contents and data files...

    SQL > drop tablespace usmantbs including content and data files;

    I have no backup of this data file, but my database is in archive log...

    So I can... .flashback database to the SNA 545863 as it was before the fall... to get back my along its tablespace data file
    Wil I get my datafile back or not? Help, please...

    You can test it by yourself easily :) You will not be able to open your database
    After getting the error, just rename this data file and flashback again. Then open your database

  • Defining the new path for the data files for restoring using the VALUE of NEWNAME FOR DATABASE

    Version: 11.2.0.3 Linux

    Today, I had to do a restore RMAN to a new server and I came across the post following RTO on the VALUE of NEWNAME FOR DATABASE

    ALTER database open resetlogs upgraded;         error to throw

    So, I thought to use it to indicate the new location of the data files to restore.

    That's what I did
    ===================

    Restore the control file and catalog items to backup using the command of CATALOGUE START WITH. Then I started the restoration
    $ rman target / cmdfile=restore.txt

    Don't know how it worked for Levi without %f or %U. So, I added %f
     $ vi restore.txt
     $ cat restore.txt
    run
     {
     SET NEWNAME FOR DATABASE TO '/fnup/hwrc/oradata/spikey/%f';

    As you can see, RMAN restore data files to the desired location. But the data file names ended up as
    1
    2
    3
    .
    .
    .
    9
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -----------| Holy Cow |-----------------------------

    So I had to rename each file as below
    $ mv 1 /fnup/hwrc/oradata/spikey/system01.dbf
    $ mv 2 /fnup/hwrc/oradata/spikey/sysaux01.dbf
    $ mv 3 /fnup/hwrc/oradata/spikey/undotbs01.dbf
    I would have been better in execution of the order for each data below file
    SET NEWNAME FOR DATAFILE
    Now, I think, there is no advantage in using NEWNAME SET of DATABASE to. Only the disadvantages. I did anything wrong above?

    Martin;

    On the issue of the VALUE of NEWNAME FOR DATABASE, you must specify at least one of the first three of the following substitution variables to avoid collisions of names: %b f % U. see semantic entry for TO 'filename' for a description of the possible substitution variables.

    You use %f

    %b

    Specifies the filename without the fully qualified directory path. For example, the datafile name /oradata/prod/financial.dbf is transformed to financial.dbf. This variable enables you to preserve the names of the datafiles while you move them to different directory. During backup, it can be used for the creation of image copies. The variable cannot be used for OMF datafiles or backup sets.

    %f

    Specifies the absolute file number of the datafile for which the new name is generated. For example, if datafile 2 is duplicated, then %f generates the value 2.

    %U

    Specifies a system-generated unique filename. The name is in the following format: data-D-%d_id-%I_TS-%N_FNO-%f. The %d variable specifies the database name. For example, a possible name might be data-D-prod_id-22398754_TS-users_FNO-7.
