ORA-12012: error on auto work "ORACLE_OCM". "MGMT_CONFIG_JOB
I administer a 11.2.0.3 database running on the AIX 6.1 operating system and IBM pSeries 750 material.
We receive the following alert each night in the alerts log: ORA-12012: error on auto work "ORACLE_OCM". "" MGMT_CONFIG_JOB_2_2 ". Research about this error on Google, most messages recommend to disable the work every night of the CMO. We do not currently use COM, and the Oracle_OCM of user account is locked.
What would be the consequences of disabling this work every night?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
Mark
If you do not use the COM, there should be no harm to this job is disabled - see MOS Doc 755838.1
There are all the entries in the log of alerts to the performance of that work?

Hello
I get below error frequently in the log database alerts.
ORA-12012: error on auto work 754461
ORA-29279: SMTP permanent error: ORA-29279: SMTP permanent error: 501 Syntax error, command parameters ' RCPT TO: ' unrecognized or missing

ORA-06512: at the 'APPS '. HKD_PO_ADDON_PKG', line 110

The syntax error comes from the SMTP server, not to the job itself, so I disagree with your solution.

Hello
I want to install Oracle EM 12 c Cloud Control version 12.1.0.3. I watched the video and I'm just following the instructions.
I created a repository database using a model of database I downloaded from OTN (database version 11.2.0.3). I chose the data base for the deployment of small.
Once the repository database has been created, the following error keeps repeating in the database's alert.log file:
ORA-12012: error on auto work "SYSMAN." "" EM_ECM_VCPU_JOB ".
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
ORA-06512: at "SYSMAN.". EM_ECM_VCPU_COLLECTION', line 1432
ORA-06512: at line 1
The installation of the CMS software has not been started.
In my view, there is a support Note 1570105.1 of ID that addresses the same error in the desk of cloud and is addressed by the application of a patch in the OMS_HOME.
Someone can help me please answer:
1) is the question that I feel exactly the same way as in the notes 1570105.1?
(2) do I proceed with the installation of the WHO and then apply the patch, or is there a way to stop it now, before we continue?
(3) will be OK to disable just the job in question?
I think I saw somewhere that the SYSMAN schema should not even be present in the repository database before installation of the WHO; However, this is how he got from the database model.
Thanks a lot for your help.
Emilija
Indeed the footnote you found is good:
EM 12 c R3: running the reports EM_ECM_VCPU_JOB: ORA-12012: error on auto work "SYSMAN." "" EM_ECM_VCPU_JOB "(Doc ID 1570105.1)
However, I think it can only occur after the installation of the (12.1.0.3) WHO is an active work that has to do with the VT plugin (to manage and monitor Oracle VM) even if you have not installed this plugin.
Ora errors after installation of the patch.
If you do not want to stop the SGD just to install the patch, you can also run the 17066821\17066821\files\sysman\admin\emdrep\sql\core\latest\ecm\ecm_vcpu_computation_pkgbody.sql as user sysman.
This will recreate the package but now without calling the task if you do not have the plugin installed VT.

I suggest you to move (i.e. rebuild) jobs in the XXSAP scheme rather than use the SYS schema. In this way, you can run "BEGIN DBMS_SCHEDULER. RUN_JOB' to XXSAP correctly.

ORA-12012: error on auto work 8884
I get this error in the log to alert a month indicating that
ORA-12012: error on auto work 8884
ORA-08103: object no longer exists
But could not find the root cause, as I am not able to find the object that sound indicating its actually not exist.
Please help in this regard. .like I'm afraid it might be due to corruption, block...Hello
try to use the application to find the block below invoice
Select ds.*
from dba_segments ds, sys.uet$ e
where ds.header_file = e.segfile #.
and ds.header_block = e.segblock #.
and e.header_file =
and between e.block # and e.block #+ e.length - 1;see if the corrupt blocks are part of index segments that you can easily solve the problem, because all the table data to re-create the index is always accessible, you can drop and re-create the index (the block will be reformatted when he took in the list of free space and reused for the index).
In the case of table segment, then
Data file backups and files using archived redo logs you can perform a recovery of the data file that contains corrupted data block. You must be sure, however, that the data block was already altered in the data backup file.
If you regularly dump files by using the export utility, another option would be to restore the segment of the table using the import utility. Of course, you can do this only if the version of the table such as stored in the dump file is acceptable or not too old. Note that prior to the importation of the table, you must delete the current table, which releases the defective block.
The last option is to use SQL to select as much data as possible to the current segment table corrupt and save the lines selected into a new table. Make sure you only select the data that is stored in blocks of segment preceding the complete block damaged by using a table scan (via a cursor fetch lines one by one and at the same time their economy to a new table).
Lines that are stored in blocks after the corrupt block cause a problem, because a full table scan will never reach them. However, you can still get these lines using ROWID (research of single-row).

Any ideas how to solve this problem?
I already checked for space on the file system and there is lots of space available.

Hi all
This question was asked several times in this forum and I went to many discussions in this forum, but unfortunately I failed.
I want to connect to MySQL database to oracle. I have the following configurations.
- Oracle database edition company 12 c (12.1.0.2.0) 64 bits on 64-bit Windows server 2012
- I have 5.6.11 MySQL on windows 7 64 bit
- I downloaded the driver site for delivery of oracle ODBC (MySQL Connector/ODBC 5.3.4 MSI for Windows x 86 (64 bit))
- I have install ODBC on my oracle server, a full install which installs the Unicode and Ansi versions.
- I create the connection ODBC for Unicode by going to control panel-> administrator tools-> (64-bit) ODBC Data Sources-> system DSN. I test and the test succeeded.
- I have set up my files Listner.ora, Tnsname.ora and initmysql.ora as below;

I have tried versions of Ansi and Unicode ODBC, but the same question.
where is the problem in my setup?
Thank you.
You use the wrong host name in the tnsnames.ora.
Take a look at the Oracle listener - it is configured with the address: (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = ORADEV.hct.org)(PORT = 1521))
In your tnsnames.ora you specified in the mysql alias: (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = N410FS02)(PORT = 1521))
It does not work. Alias configured in the tnsnames.ora AMT must reference an Oracle listener who begins the process of bridge, so in your case at ORADEV.hct.org.
So please correct your tnsnames.ora entry:
MySQL =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = ORADEV.hct.org)(PORT = 1521))
(CONNECT_DATA =
(SID = mysql)
)
(HS = OK)

Syslog does not display the IO error.
I followed the steps below to solve the problem.
1] stop the database
[2] restore control01.dbf to the backup location.
[3] mount the database
[4] recover database until cancel[5] Alter database open resetlogs.
Also, takes a full cold of RMAN backup of the database, the multiplex control files and recovery logs.

PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
SQL > select * from corrupted_lob_data;
CORRUPTED_ROWID
------------------
AAASF/AAKAABacyAAA
To resolve this problem, we have 3 options
(1) to restore and recover the LOB segment using physical backup.
(2) empty LOBs affected using the UPDATE, as mentioned in the Note 787004.1statement:
SQL > update SCAN_UPLOADEDFILES_TEMP
Set FILE_BLOB = empty_blob()
where rowid in (select corrupted_rowid
of corrupted_lob_data);
SQL > commit;
(3) perform the export, excluding the corrupt ROWID. by adding the following to export command parameter
Query =------"where rowid not in (\'AAASF/AAKAABacyAAA\'\) \ \" "
