Hi CPR1,.

I tried to connect to database using ODI.

What I did at work is

Double-click the database server--->, click Properties, and then you have the key and the value

In the Insert key as oracle.jdbc.timezoneAsRegion, and its value is FALSE

Thank you

Best regards

    I use JDeveloper 11.1.2.0.0 and holds zone schedule system: 5 h 30 GMT + (Chennai, Kolkatta, Mumbai, New delhi) when I run the page jspx - only with a command button, it works fine. But when I drag a table into the jspx page and run the implementation even the below error.

    To set the same, tried the resolution below as suggested on the forums and did not fix the issue

    1. define the Application-> default Application of properties-> Run/Debug/profile-> Edit and set java options like - Duser.timezone = "-05:30.
    2 edited the jdev.conf file and set the AddVMOption property - Duser.timezone = 'GMT + 05:30 '.

    The steps that worked.

    Set java options like - Duser.timezone = "-05:30 ' for each project that is available in the application.
    Note: This correction of the problem. But my application has more than 10 projects and must be repeated. So for each application and its projects step below must be repeated.

    I understand that there is a resolution. But is there a solution to the same difficulty in JDEV level. If so help me please on the same sample.

    Hello

    It worked for me,

    1. go to the directory where you ran the script config.bat.

    2. use a text editor open the file config.bat.

    3. locate this line in the file: SET CONFIG_JVM_ARGS = % CONFIG_JVM_ARGS %-DCOMMON_COMPONENTS_HOME = % COMMON_COMPONENTS_HOME %

    4 Add this string to the end - Duser.timezone = "+ 02:00" and run the script to Setup again. "

    5. always confirm that the time zone the oracle db is properly defined.

    SQL > select sessiontimezone double;

    SESSIONTIMEZONE
    ----------------------------------------------
    + 02:00

    Hope that helps - it worked for me.

    You can use DBMS_SQL - but use the remote package and not the local. It's a little more complex ito call interface you use a Ref Cursor, but is the same server-side. DBMS_SQL also provides a more comprehensive set of features to use the ref cursor interface.

    Most, however, is add code - DBMS_SQL is a lower level interface (much closer to the real Oracle Call Interface/OIC):

     --// on remote database the procedure returns a DBMS_SQL cursor instead of a ref cursor
    SQL> create or replace procedure FooProc( cur in out number, deptID number ) is
      2          rc      number;
      3  begin
      4          cur := DBMS_SQL.open_cursor;
      5
      6          DBMS_SQL.parse(
      7                  cur,
      8 'select ename from emp where deptno = :deptID',
      9                  DBMS_SQL.native
     10          );
     11
     12          DBMS_SQL.Bind_Variable( cur, 'deptID', deptID );

    One last thing. 100% make sure error is defined as partners on the issue of Test database:

    MORE DATE OLD HE SAID I COULD GO BACK, WHAT HAS NOT HELPED... I ONLY AM NOT COMPUTER SAVVY, SO IF YOU HAVE AN ANSWER, PLEASE

    BREAK IT DOWN STEP BY STEP... P.S. THANK YOU I USE WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM... AND I INSTALLED ALL IMPORTANT

    UPDATES... I HOPE I'M THIS SENDING TO THE RIGHT FORUM...

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps:

    Method 1: Try to boot in safe mode and check if the same problem occurs.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Method 2: If the problem does not exist in Mode without failure, then try to put your computer in a clean boot state.

    By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

    How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow step 7 in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

    Method 3: Also try to scan your hard drive for Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

    The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Startup error: "this application has failed to start because google desktop common.dll not found."

    Original title: google desktop common.dll

    When I turn on my computer is the first thing that lights up, this application has failed to start because google desktop common.dll not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem. How to fix this problem? What do you do? or you re-install.

    This error message means that a Google application that requires the file 'google desktop common.dll' could not start because the file is missing. The first step to solve the problem is to identify the application that is using this file. Do you use Google software (ie: Google Chrome, Google Sidebar, etc.)? If Yes, what are the software you use?

    We will work from there,

  • Error occurred in the unregistered class... Because Excel is not installed?

    I received the following error message when you attempt to run an application built with LV 7.1:

    Error-2147221164 occurred at the class not registered in Open_Excel.vi > Report_generation_excel_Tbeta WITH new layout.vi > beta Mirror_Cycling_Main - 2.vi

    Would it because Excel is not installed on the computer?  Will there be a problem if Excel is installed after the 7.1 runtime drivers and LabVIEW?

    Also, should I stay away from install later versions of Excel than what has been used originally?

    Could not create a VI like that with the basic version of 8.2?  I am not sure that some of the controls on the front panel are and 7.1 doesn't give me any additional information in the help dialog box - if someone could give me the names of the various components circled in red in the attached JPG I would appreciate it.

    Thank you

    Dave

    Yes, if you do not have Excel, then you will get this error because the code is trying to access the ActiveX Excel server. No Excel, no ActiveX in Excel server, code no worky.

    It does not matter if you install Excel after running LV.

    Yes, he will question if you install a later version of Excel, as Microsoft change the ActiveX interface with each new version of Excel. So, what works for a version of Microsoft Excel may not work with another.

    These controls are controls of Refnum Automation. In the controls palette Refnum-> Refnum Automation. These should be available in the basic version of LabVIEW.
