ORA 4030, 6512

Hi all

11.2.0.1

AIX 6.1

Our typing error applications lately with:

SQL > exec loadvgo_web_dli (0);
BEGIN loadvgo_web_dli (0); END;

*

ORA-06512: at "DLIMGR. LOADVGO_WEB_DLI', line 348
ORA-06512: at line 1

AND

SQL > exec step_five;
BEGIN step_five; END;

Is there a way to set the parameters of memory in Aix? or Oracle?

Thank you

I already do this, but without result for google is now my bestfriend.

You're not the first, last or one who has known the ORA-04030 or determined the solution for it.

You live with it or prevent it from happening and nobody care alternative to become your reality.

    Probably the data limits and rss should be triggered.

  • adrci incidents

    11.2.0.2

    ADRCI definitions

    ADRCI: Shell ADR

    An incident is described as

    An incident is a single occurrence of a problem. When a problem occurs more than once, a case is created for each instance. Incidents are followed in ADR. Each incident is identified by a digital incident ID, which is unique within the ADR. When an incident occurs, the database creates an entry in the log of alerts, send an incident alert in Oracle Enterprise Manager, gathers diagnostic data of the incident as dump files (incident landfills), tags incidents landfills with the incident ID and stores of the landfills of the incident in an ADR subdirectory created for this incident.

    Diagnosis and resolution of a critical error usually begins with an incident alert. You can get a list of all incidents in the ADR with ADRCI command. Each incident is mapped to one problem only.

    Incidents are controlled flood so that one problem does not generate too many incidents and discharges of the incident. See Oracle database administrator Guide for more information on the fight against the flooding incident.

    My question is what is an incident and that is a problem.  I have errors in my alert log ORA, some consider an ORA 600, but I have no other.

    Some examples of others (regardless of the subject of their specific problems, it is adrci reports only)

    ORA-01013

    ORA-12012

    ORA-03135

    ORA-03136

    ORA-03113

    ORA-02063

    (maybe others, above are great for examples of it not displayed)

    If I run

    adrci exec = "' show the problem Pei \\\"LASTINC_TIME > systimestamp-7\\\ "" orderby - lastinc_time ""

    I get no problem (even though my alert log has any ORA errors above in the last 7 days), but if I run it for the last 20 days, I see 600 and 7445 ora s which took place 18 days ago.

    Update on that: it is possible to errors ORA Tote with a clause of "message".

    adrci exec = "home dΘfinir ${adrci_home}; «' display alert Pei \\\"message_text 'ORA-%' and originating_timestamp > systimestamp-1\\\»»

    credit coskan @: http://coskan.wordpress.com/2010/12/06/alert-log-monitoring-script-via-adrci/

    But isn't the same thing or as graceful as a 'incident/problem show', so I got the answer to that if anyone else is looking, ADRCI sees the following errors and incidents or problems (answer support, I can't find it in a doc anywhere but Im repeating it here as Im, judging this characteristic information) nothing else appears except if coskans method above is used.

    Now I am not able to reach the AW in REad Write mode and I think that has been locked by the MN itself and I need to bounce the database to remove the lock.

    Can you please indicate the reason for the failure and even if faulty AW should release the lock that is not the case now.

    Thanks in advance,
    DxP

    The session who had joined the AW in RW mode is probably still alive, which means the AW cannot be attached RW by any other session. This may have sorted itself out by the time wherever you read this, but if not, then run the following as s/n.

    set pages 500 lines 110
    col usn format a23 heading "USER (SID,SERIAL#,SVR)"
    col aw format a22 heading "OLAP AW (ATTACHED)"
    col generation format 99999 heading "Genrtn"

    select
      username || ' ('||sid||','||serial#||','||
      decode(server,
        'DEDICATED','D',
        'SHARED', 'S', 'U')||')' usn,
        gvawo.inst_id,
        owner||'.'||daws.aw_name||' ('||
         decode(attach_mode,
         'READ WRITE', 'RW',
         'READ ONLY', 'RO',
         'MULTIWRITE', 'MW',
         'EXCLUSIVE', 'XW', attach_mode)||')' aw,
      generation
    from
      dba_aws daws,
      gv$aw_olap gvawo,
      gv$aw_calc gvawc,
      gv$session gvses
    where
      daws.aw_number = gvawo.aw_number
      and sid = gvawo.session_id
      and gvawc.session_id = sid
      and gvawo.inst_id = gvawc.inst_id
      and gvses.inst_id = gvawc.inst_id
    order by
      username,
      sid,
      daws.aw_name
    /

    Lists all attached AWs and the sessions who owns them. Similar information can be obtained AWM by using the node 'Reports-> reports OLAP DBA-> AWs' attached.

    Here is an example of output.

    USER (SID,SERIAL#,SVR) INST_ID OLAP AW (ATTACHED) Genrtn
    ----------------------- ---------- ---------------------- ------
    GLOBAL (16,357,D)           1 SYS.AWXML (RO)            2
    GLOBAL (16,357,D)           1 SYS.EXPRESS (RO)            2
    GLOBAL (101,4017,D)           1 SYS.EXPRESS (RO)            2
    SCOTT (18,599,D)           1 SYS.EXPRESS (RO)            2
    SCOTT (18,599,D)           1 GLOBAL.GLOBAL (RW)            0

    As you can see, the user SCOTT has the 'GLOBAL' named AW attached in RW mode. I can kill the session using

    alter system kill session '18,599';

  • Oracle allows more memory than sga + pga

    Hi Experts,

    If I put 1 GB and 2 GB SGA pga then oracle could use more than 3 GB of RAM from the operating system.

    Thank you
    Please ignore if seems to be a very basic question...

    Yes.

    The PGA_AGGREGATE_TARGET is only a target. On a busy system, a system with often changing patterns of SQL, Oracle may try to assign a higher value.

    I assume you're on 32-bit Windows. You will hit ORA-4030 errors from time to time because Oracle under Windows is a single process (multi-threaded) and Windows limits the memory, the process can answer.
    I suggest you reduce your P_A_T.

  • PAE on windows

    Hello
    This is related to the database. But I post this question because I (everybody) get quick and complete solutions.

    Database: 10.2.0.4

    I get the error ORA-4030. Operating system is 32-bit Windows, and the RAM is 32 gig. But the size of the sga is only 1 GB. So, I want to activate/EAP. RAM usage.
    I read all the docs how ever I had some confusion.

    Implementation of Address Windowing Extensions (AWE) or VLM on Windows platforms [ID 225349.1]
    ORA - 824, ORA-1078 when allow EAP on VLM on 10g when Sga_Target parameter is set to [286093.1 ID]

    It's my plan of action.

    -> I need to change the parameter in the boot.ini file.

    -> I have to define USE_INDIRECT_DATA_BUFFERS = TRUE (in the init.ora file).

    -> calculate AWE_WINDOW_MEMORY as per

    MIN (AWE_WINDOW_MEMORY) =(4096 * DB_BLOCK_SIZE * DBBLOCK_LRU_LATCHES)/8

    Then my doubts are,

    (1) if I put/EAP then do I disable AUTO MANGAGEMNT (SAMS) of MEMORY SHARED by the parameter sga_target = 0

    (2) should I set db_cache_size or db_block_buffer.

    (3) I believe that we must set db_cache_size as we do not use SAMS.

    All boards/measures and precautions are appreciated

    Concerning

    Hello

    Is this better or should

    u must set to 0 or comment it

    I think it is not obsolete absolute not.

    Yes your right I have mistyped it.

    After activation of EAP, spend us more time tuning the SGA components or better use sga_target with the EAP

    Enable EAP, keeping 32 gig without PAE is of no use, u cannot use more than 4 GB without PAE and manual tuning takes more time... also great your LMS that is easier and faster the db will recover data coz it will store the most frequently used db blocks and analyze trees in memory.

    Hello

    According to DBA_DEPENDENCIES (for 11.1 anyway) the dependencies of the table for DBMS_LOCK are DUAL and DBMS_LOCK_ALLOCATED - these two exist?

    I suggest that you get a failure and the rerun catalog and the catproc.

    See you soon,.

    I do not know if EMD_MAINTENANCE. EXECUTE_EM_DBMS_JOB_PROCS is the origin of 4030 errors. It may be due to the memory or bug, even some patches may solve your problem.

    If EXECUTE_EM_DBMS_JOB_PROCS is the origin of errors you can try this:

    Check on his next run using query below and see after his execution any 4030 similar error is generated in the journal alerts.

    Select job_name, RUN_COUNT, FAILURE_COUNT, NEXT_RUN_DATE from dba_scheduler_jobs where job_name = "EXECUTE_EM_DBMS_JOB_PROCS";

    If errors are generated, then you can disable the temporary job to help

    run dbms_scheduler.disable('EMD_MAINTENANCE.) EXECUTE_EM_DBMS_JOB_PROCS');

    If the next run is days a lead, then you can try running the task immediately and see if all 4030 errors generated

    exec EMD_MAINTENANCE. EXECUTE_EM_DBMS_JOB_PROCS;

    =====
    Yours is a production database, ora 600,4030,7445 errors is something that you can't play with him & predict the cause accurate, better you trigger SR with oracle.support.

    I'm on the automatic management of the memory of 11g feature. Please can I know how to solve this problem.

    Thank you very much

    The answers to this question are the same as the last time he was asked:
    Re: ORA-04030: out of process memory when inserting 12 million ranks 11 g

    You should not, regardless of the manual or automatic memory parameters, load up to 12 million lines in one fell swoop in a collection.
    Especially not when you can probably rewrite it is a single INSERT SELECT statement.

    now the memory used by pga is very less,

    My question: 1 why FILIPE takes too much memory?
    2. After switching to the standby database also the memory used by the process of FILIPE is not released very high almost 99.99%?

    Thank you and best regards,
    Olivier Claude.

    Please don't be crazy on me, but in my opinion, this is the wrong place for your question. The fact is that Toshiba doesn't support Windows 2003 server for mobile computing. If you have problems try again with Microsoft.
    As a manufacturer of operating system, they should be able to offer an explanation for each error message. Sorry, but I see no connection between the problems described and Toshiba as a hardware manufacturer.
