Oracle 11G Configuration problem

Hi all
I am installing Oracle Forms and reports 11 g [11.1.2].

I installed Oracle 11 g, getting a problem when configuring it.

INST-07249: year Unexpected error occurred during validation of Middleware location home
INST-07286: specified Oracle Middleware locationdoes House has no version 10.3.5 WebLogic server. Then by configuring the weblogic server will fail if the version is incorrect

WLS 10.3.5 were installed, and I can access the admin console.
I did checked for version WLS in its registry file created during installation of WLS to confirm its version number.

I used the same location House middle ware that I used to install the WLS.

Please can you get me some information to overcome this problem?

Hi rafik,.

Port 5556 is used by the Manager of nodes. Simply stop Node in your Windows Services Manager and click on 'Retry' market area to create. It should work. If you have already left the Setup Wizard before running it again, make sure to Node Manager is stopped before you try.

The problem is that the Oracle Fusion Middleware Installer is smart enough to know that Node Manager is already listening on port 5556, so he's trying to start again on that port node management. This is a problem since the installer of Forms 11 g 1 matter :)

Thank you

Gavin

  • Oracle 11G - configuration of the Service CARS

    Hello
I read a lot of documentation about oracle services and I have ok understand how they work. However, I have a general question about using Oracle RAC configuration services. For example, if I have a 2 node RAC 11 GR 2 on a Linux Redhat Server oracle. I have an application that connects to a service that I created. I create the following service.

    srvctl add service d ORCL_RAC s app_service - ORCL_RAC1, ORCL_RAC2 r

    The tnsnames contains:

    APP_OLTP =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (LOAD_BALANCE = ON)
    (FAILOVER = ON)
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = server01) (PORT = 1521))
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = server02) (PORT = 1521))
    (CONNECT_DATA =
    (SERVICE_NAME = APP_SERVICE)
    (FAILOVER_MODE =
    (TYPE = SELECT)
    (METHOD = BASIC)
    (RETRIES = 20)
    (TIME = 1)
    )
    )
    )

    My questions are the following:

    (1) when I do a "srvctl status service d ORCL_RAC", I see the service that is running on both nodes of the RAC? Or he runs only a single node, and then it will switch to the other if necessary?
    (2) if I have a RAC environment where I see two services created (RAC_SRV1 and RAC_SRV2). I see that RAC_SRV1 runs only on node1 and RAC_SRV2 is only running on Node2. There are two applications that share the same database, an application uses RAC_SRV1 and the other application is the use of RAC_SRV2. Am I right to think that there is no failover available here? If node1 goes down, the connection to RAC_SRV1 application will be not able to connect to the right of node2?
    (3) in the case of the scenario in question 2 above, it would be better practice to simply create a service and have the two applications connecting to a service? Could configure NEB service to point connections of an application with the Node1 and node2 another application?

    (1) when I do a "srvctl status service d ORCL_RAC", I see the service that is running on both nodes of the RAC? Or he runs only a single node, and then it will switch to the other if necessary?

You can see how it works on both nodes.
Use a option in srvctl (a list of available instances to which the service switch when the database's administrator managed).

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E11882_01/RAC.112/e16795/srvctladmin.htm#i1008562

    (2) if I have a RAC environment where I see two services created (RAC_SRV1 and RAC_SRV2). I see that RAC_SRV1 runs only on node1 and is RAC_SRV2 > only running on Node2. If node1 goes down, the connection to RAC_SRV1 application won't be able to connect to node2 > right?

It depends on the configuration of your service. Check it out by srvctl config

    (3) in the case of the scenario in question 2 above, it would be best practices simply create a service and have the two applications connecting to that > service? Could configure NEB service to point connections of an application with the Node1 and node2 another application?

better create two services, one for each application with specific and other nodes in the available list.

  • Access Oracle Portal Configuration problem (OAM 11.1.2.2 + OTD)

    Hi all

Has anyone faced the question below while installation & configuration of the Portal (PAO) to access Oracle?

I followed the Oracle documentation(up to 47.3.14.1) , but began to get server errors to access the /logonmangager using the port of Oracle traffic Director (OTD).

OTD oblog.log inspection, I noticed that the following have been measurement error,

    2014/11/06@20:47:50.15891 4542 4559 ACCESS_GATE FATAL 0 x 00001520 /ade/aime_ngamac_738371/ngamac/src/palantir/webgate2/src/nsentry_web_gate.cpp:275

"The exception thrown during initialization WebGate.

    2014/11/06@20:47:50.15894 4542 4559 FATAL ACCESS_GATE 0x0000181C /ade/aime_ngamac_738371/ngamac/src/palantir/webgate2/src/nsentry_web_gate.cpp:276

"Oracle accessgate API is not initialized."  raw_code ^ 204

Though, I met these errors as soon as possible for a standard OAM + Webgate install, I've been check all possible reasons why that could happen - expiry of the certificate, re-copied artifacts webgate, redone the steps etc but nothing helped.

    Pointers would be much appreciated.

This question has bypassed by configuring the webgate in "Open" Mode

  • Oracle 11g remote connection problem

When I try to connect to the Oracle database using SQLPlus or SQLDeveloper remotely I get the following error.

    ORA-01017: INVALID USERNAME/PASSWORD; logon denied.

    Server details:
Oracle 11g on Linux Enterprise 4
I can connect to the server using SQLPlus.
    SQLCASE SHOW is MIXED

    Customer details:
    Windows Server 2003 enterprise Edition
    Oracle 11g Client.
Remote computer my TNSPING to this server works perfectly.

For the same connection string, I can't connect to the client. I don't know that I type wrong password.

Any thoughts on this will be helpful.

    Thank you
    Smith

If it's a sys user you will need to set the password file to connect to the database as sysdba user remotely. and we do not need to check if the privilege to connect is given to the sys user or not. adding to this remote_login_password check = EXCLUSIVE lock

    Hi Srini,

The problem is resolved. Thanks for your reply.

The question is, is Windows server 2003 32-bit, and I try to install database 11g 64 bit. I tried to install database 11g 32-bit. Before that, I erased the traces of the virtual machine in my host system and reinstalled and tried. It worked.

    Thank you

    Hello

I have Oracle 11g on Win2k8 server. I thnk I can accidentally removed the Oracle EM service in windows.

Is there a way to create again, prefeby without recreating the EM repository?
Manually create the windows service back?

Here's the problem of the listener. Your listener is listening on port 1521

Oracle 11g was installed on windows server 2003.

ORA-12514: TNS:listener is not currently of service requested in connect descriptor . _

We receive oracle above except when you give the following command:

Please advice what could be the problem.

    Thank you.

Your Lstener knows nothing about services. You must configure the dynamic record of service in your database, for example

    ALTER system set local_listener = "(DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS =(PROTOCOL=TCP) (HOST = CBR-SRV-HPORA. CIBER-INDIA. IN) (PORT = 1522))) ';

(for permanent fixing forget pfile or spfile)

After the database records the address und thie services you will see the service when you ask "srvctl services oracle11g_listener.

    Kind regards

  • Oracle 11g 11.2.0.1 connect to Forms 6i [32 bit] Version 6.0.8.11.3 (Production)

    Hello

I set up a new server with Windows 8r2. Install Oracle 11 g 64 bit.

Mounted 10 32-bit Desktop windows forms [32-bit] Version 6.0.8.11.3 (Production).

I am able to connect to Oracle 9i. but I want to connect to Oracle 11g

Are there measures where I can solve my problem.

already had made the following changes to the server

    C:\ > sqlplus/nolog

SQL > connect / as sysdba

    Conectado.

    SQL > shutdown immediate

    SQL > startup restrict

    SQL > alter database character set internal_use UTF8;

    SQL > shutdown immediate

    SQL > startup

    Under sqlnet.ora I changed

    NAMES. DIRECTORY_PATH = (TNSNAMES, EZCONNECT)

    SQLNET. ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION_SERVER = 8

    SQLNET. ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION_SERVER = 8

    SQLNET. ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION_CLIENT = 8

I'm still not able to connect.

    1. what error message do you receive forms 6i when you can not connect

    2. what level of Forms 6i patch do you have?  A more recent patch level may be required.

  • Configuration problem EM on 12 c OEM

I started working on a new client, who was a repository of grid 12 c Setup program, and they have restarted a server for maintenance. When I tried to enter emctl start agent, I received the following.

The MA Configuration problem. /U01/app/Oracle/product/11.2.0.3/dbhome_1/servername.domain.com_oem not found.

Is there a way to create this file? is or if I should use emca, possible that I can perform a 'regeneration' without changing the initial configuration?

Thanks everyone, I solved the problem. I made a backup of my old profiles.xml, created a void with just header and footer information, and everything started upward normally, thank you again!

  • OC4J Configuration problem. $OH / OC4J_DBConsole_IPADDR_db not found.

    Hi all

    I have a new installation of Oracle 11 g 2 m4.

I tried several times creating dbconsole, ensuring that the environment variables are defined property and also in the response file, specifically ORACLE_HOSTNAME is set correctly.

The emca - config... returns with success,

but in the newspaper, it shows me the URL to control db being in the form of https:// < hostname >: 5500/em

Under OracleHome, I have a directory in the form of < hostname > dbcontrol Private

Although my departure db control fails with above message.

    emctl start dbconsole

    "OC4J Configuration problem. $OH / OC4J_DBConsole_IPADDR_db not found. »

My question is since emca creates the control with the format https:// < hostname >: 5500/em , and it is properly configured in OracleHome, why "emctl" refers to IPADDR and allows me not to start dbcontrol?

    Thank you

  • Oracle 11g CMO

    Hi all

am an Oracle 11 g RAC OCÉ, plan to write oracle 11g CMO, can anyone suggest how to proceed?

How the review will be... is this objective or another criterion?

How to buy the right? and how much cost in India?

anytime I write or Oracle Corp. will decide on the dates etc...?

    Please guide me the details.

    Thank you

    Sam.

The 11g COM is different from all the other reviews.  This is a 2 day practical laboratory exercise.  You are given to an Oracle server and need to perform different tasks, solve problems, etc.

The review of the CMO is only given to a relatively small number of times throughout the year.  Strictly speaking, there are a lot of times, but they are spread all over the world, so many times at a location any where near you will be weak - maybe one or two a year.

In addition to the exam, you must also take two practical courses acceptable to Oracle.  You can find more information, including the price in your area by reading and following the links available at the following ADDRESS:

    https://education.Oracle.com/pls/web_prod-PLQ-dad/db_pages.GetPage?page_id=653&get_params=P_ID:52 #tabs - 3
