I did my TRAY and OCP 10 g. Now I want to upgrade to 11g.
So should I give Oracle 11g OCA and OCP again or Oracle Database 11g: new features for administrators 1Z0-050.

Thank you.

  • 11g ocp courses

    Hello

    I have a 7.3 and an OCP 9i.
If I make 11g OCA and OCP exams, would still need to do a course with Oracle certification?

I guess you're talking about the DBA track because you don't specify. There are a number of tracks in the certification program Oracle which grant powers OCA and OCP. They're all slightly different requirements.

If you are a DBA of OCP 9i existing, and assuming your goal is to get a 11g DBA OCP credential, you can take the upgrade exam (1Z0-055) for the 11g DBA OCP credential without attending a training course. If you take the 11g DBA OCA and OCP exams directly, you need to take a training course.

  • 1Z0-007 and OCP review questions

I just finished this course: "ORACLE DATABASE 10g: INTRODUCTION TO SQL" which prepare to 1Z0 - 007.» However, I would like to review for 11g for exam on SQL which, in my view, there is much difference to 10g...

Should what exam number I take which is the equivalent of 1Z0 - 007?

    After that, I intend to take the 1Z0 - 147 (PL/SQL), IZO-042 (s/n I), IZO-043 (s/n II)-> there will be held the 11 g not 10 g...

In addition, these three courses above will help me write OCP: Oracle Certified Professional based on this that Coordinator told me. If you have any suggestions or comments do not hesitate to leave some.

What is the purpose behind this? Why don't you go for a hands on experience first?

And you can decide if you want to be on the track of developer or DBA track or both.

  • That means 1z0-117 oracle 11g sql tuning now say it includes v12 addition v11

    Hello

I did the 1z0-117 sql tuning review once.

    Not too far away.

I studied under and turned off for a while.

I anticipate taking in 1 month.

However, I just noticed that the oracle site says 1z0-117 also said that v12 is also included for consideration:

    Oracle 11g sql tuning.

It makes no sense at all.

    Roger

However, I just noticed that the oracle site says 1z0-117 also said that v12 is also included for consideration:

    Oracle 11g sql tuning.

Unless you are looking for something I'm not, what actually is the 1Z0-117 page says: "validated against: review has been validated against Oracle Database 11g Release 2 version 11.2.0.1.0 and database Oracle 12 c 12.1.0.1.0"

What they actually mean by it is that someone went through all the issues and and asked the question "is still a relevant issue for the release of 12 c to Oracle?'." "  If they find issues that are not valid because of an update/change, then the question will be removed from review (or changed) so that someone who has used 12 c but not 11 g will not at a disadvantage.

This is * No * means that Oracle has added questions to the review of the capabilities that were introduced in version 12 c.

They should NOT put just to 12 c, correct.

Someone at work took the Oracle class in Chicago: Oracle 11 g new Featurers for administrators.

They wanted to ensure that they would NOT have to take another training class Oracle.

    Thank you Roger

Fix.  There is not currently a scheduled date for individuals with 11g as their highest certification of need to obtain a new certification.  If Oracle does not change their policy (unlikely), it will be a date in the future where it is practiced.  However, the upgrade to 11g will prolong the active life of their powers of Oracle by (I guess here) 2-3 years.

I don't know what you mean by "shall take".  Once you have OCP, Oracle requires no additional training for practical requirement - even if the certifications become inactive and must be reactivated. I guess you mean that he took the class because he wanted to prepare 1Z0 - 050. Based on this issue, he now wonders if he needed to go directly to 1Z0 - 060 rather (and therefore would like to take the new features in preparation for this test review 12 c).

  • Oracle 11g CMO

    Hi all

am an Oracle 11 g RAC OCÉ, plan to write oracle 11g CMO, can anyone suggest how to proceed?

How the review will be... is this objective or another criterion?

How to buy the right? and how much cost in India?

anytime I write or Oracle Corp. will decide on the dates etc...?

    Please guide me the details.

    Thank you

    Sam.

The 11g COM is different from all the other reviews.  This is a 2 day practical laboratory exercise.  You are given to an Oracle server and need to perform different tasks, solve problems, etc.

The review of the CMO is only given to a relatively small number of times throughout the year.  Strictly speaking, there are a lot of times, but they are spread all over the world, so many times at a location any where near you will be weak - maybe one or two a year.

In addition to the exam, you must also take two practical courses acceptable to Oracle.  You can find more information, including the price in your area by reading and following the links available at the following ADDRESS:

    Onkar,

I don't appreciate posting you this issue in several forums at the same time.
If I know you also posted this on Asktom, I wouldn't even bother.
    As for your "problem":
First of all: some kind cursor_sharing MUST have been implemented. Oracle is a predictable system, not a fruitmachine.
Anyway, your statement that '0' is replaced by a variable binding is simply false. If you really believe this isn't fake, SUBMIT an SR.

But your real problem isn't Oracle: it is your 'application', which is a mess anyway. Allowing for alphanumeric numbers is a very bad idea.
Now, you already put workaround on workaround on workaround on workaround.
Question is this: it is terminal, and you must either to kill him or to replace it.
