Attachment download - workspace - BPM from Oracle 10 g R3
Hello
I recently installed Oracle 10g enterprise Studio R3 version BPM and autonomous.
I tried the following in the version and see the same question.
I tried to download the attachment already downloaded in a process instance and I get a javascript error saying - "element oc is not defined.
Someone else gets this error.
Any ideas?
-PalThe problem with downloading attachments (attached files for work item instances) of the workspace will be fixed in a patch that is about to become available.
You don't have to wait for the fix to fix this problem. The Web.XML in this directory should be changed:
{Studio_installation_home_dir} \webapps\workspace\WEB-INF
Remove this text of the web.xml file:
com.bea.opencontrols.IMAGESERVER_URI
.. /.. /opencontrols/
This problem also exists in the company and can be fixed in the same way.
Hope this helps,

Deployment of BPM from Oracle applications
Hello
I want to deploy Application BPM using SAR file. I have two projects in my application of BPM, who conducted BPM and another are user interface for human task process. can you if it doesn't matter who you please let me know the exact step to do. Thank you very much
Concerning
You have 3 projects at the moment, but you will find that you only have to deploy both of them. On your screenshot, it looks like you
- a BPM project, named "BPMDropDownProject."
- a model ADFBC project named "ADFModelProject" where you have your application modules, the entity objects and display objects, and
- a view ADF project named "BPMDropDownProject" who owns your user jspx interfaces (where you added your drop-down list) and the workflow.
I know it sounds strange, but you do not have to deploy the BPM (1) project and the draft opinion ADF (3).
To see why this is the case, just the mouse click on the project view ADF-> click on 'Properties'-> click on "dependencies". Note that the project view ADF has a dependency to the ADFBC project. This dependence is created automatically when you added to the drop-down list to a user interface of the project view ADF was populated by template ADFBC project view object.

Parametric roles in Oracle 11g BPM
Hi all!
To us all who asked how the parametric roles in Oracle 11g BPM, here´s how do, hope this helps.
Kind regards!
Z3uV4k
Can also focus on a blog post that I wrote based on an idea with arun Pareek came. (click here)
The differences are (1) that allows you to assign parametric groups roles or application rather than individual users roles, which makes them easier to maintain and IMO (2) it is much easier to do it using this technique.

Migrate a schema from oracle 8i to 11g
Hello
I am struggling to find all the obligation to upgrade a pattern running on oracle 8i db installed on a sparc Server non-global solaris 8 box to an oracle 11 g on solaris 10 x 86 non-global zone.
There are changes in the architecture.
I know, it's:
export using utiliy exp of oracle 8i
import in oracle 11g utility exp 11 g if it is still available.
I only need to migrate two patterns respectively 1 GB and 2 GB
Here are the patterns and sizes:
Total
Schema schema name size (MB)

CLAIMS 2851.07031
ARCCLAIMS 1290.9375
Can you someone tell me what is the best way to do... That's what I think I should do.
I need to adjust the NLS_Lang to the source db character set both at the source and target machine. the two server do not have the same character set. Oracle 8i has WE8ISO8859P1 and oracle 11g a WE8MSWIN1252
Perform then run the catsql.exp script
perform the exp
exp sys / * owner = CLAIMS leader = CLAIMS.dmp
for PMI do I have to create the user, or it will be automatically created should manually create the user to amd timespaces?
What is the command to be used to import?
Thank you.
Mario
Hello
Old style exp/imp does not users/tablespace create unless you do a full complete exp/imp - which you don't want to.
You must pre-create the tablespaces/profiles/users relevant to your 2 users prior to importation.

Installation guide for BPM SOA Suite and Oracle 11g
Does anyone know of a good installation guide for a new installation of the following SOA and BPM of Oracle 11 g (Windows 64 bit)?
I'm looking to the 'Setup Guide quick for Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Business Process Management Suite 11 g Release 1"(http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/install.1111/e14318.pdf), but it is a bit dated (April 2010) and I see that is missing a few steps.
Thank youTake a look at the for Oracle SOA Suite 11 g 1 material (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/soasuite/overview/quickstartguidesoasuite11gr1ps3-313245.pdf) Quick Start Guide.
The steps that do not appear in the document you mentioned are included in this document. It takes you through the necessary extra step for the installation of Oracle BPM. Although for 11.1.1.4, it works very well for implementing 11.1.15 in a DEV environment.

What reason would there be to request an ID to Support Oracle just see the matrix of 11g certification?
On this page

There is a link to the matrix of certification. By clicking on this link takes me to https://support.oracle.com/CSP/ui/flash.html

You can also check the system requirements on the installation guides.
For example, for Linux, you will find this:

That means 1z0-117 oracle 11g sql tuning now say it includes v12 addition v11
Hello
I did the 1z0-117 sql tuning review once.
Not too far away.
I studied under and turned off for a while.
I anticipate taking in 1 month.
However, I just noticed that the oracle site says 1z0-117 also said that v12 is also included for consideration:
Oracle 11g sql tuning.
It makes no sense at all.
Roger
However, I just noticed that the oracle site says 1z0-117 also said that v12 is also included for consideration:
Oracle 11g sql tuning.
Unless you are looking for something I'm not, what actually is the 1Z0-117 page says: "validated against: review has been validated against Oracle Database 11g Release 2 version 11.2.0.1.0 and database Oracle 12 c 12.1.0.1.0"
What they actually mean by it is that someone went through all the issues and and asked the question "is still a relevant issue for the release of 12 c to Oracle?'." " If they find issues that are not valid because of an update/change, then the question will be removed from review (or changed) so that someone who has used 12 c but not 11 g will not at a disadvantage.
This is * No * means that Oracle has added questions to the review of the capabilities that were introduced in version 12 c.

I wanted to tell temp is never off allocated. So, if a 'bad' query explodes temp. the only thing you can do is to create a new and drop the old one.
11 GB temp is clearly ridiculous. Usually, this is caused by the merge join Cartesian paths in your instructions.

Oracle 11g XE on Open Suse 13.1
Hi all
I'm currently installing an Oracle 11 g Express on Open Suse 13.1 in a virtual machine.
I used the document as a reference for my installation: Oracle Database Express Edition
Comments:
I have a facility of Open Suse 13.1 vanilla except for these changes:
- I adjusted/etc/hostname to OpenSuse, in order to avoid special characters in the host name
- I increase the 2045 to 2049 MB SWAP partition to ensure the minimum configuration
I downloaded the RPM and extract. Then I started the installation
SUSE@openSUSE:~/downloads/Disk1 > sudo rpm - ivh oracle-xe - 11.2.0 - 1.0.x86_64.rpm

You must run 'configure /etc/init.d/oracle-xe' as the root user to set up the database.
Afterwards, I ran the configure script using the default values:

Hi all
am an Oracle 11 g RAC OCÉ, plan to write oracle 11g CMO, can anyone suggest how to proceed?
How the review will be... is this objective or another criterion?
How to buy the right? and how much cost in India?
anytime I write or Oracle Corp. will decide on the dates etc...?
Please guide me the details.
Thank you
Sam.
The 11g COM is different from all the other reviews. This is a 2 day practical laboratory exercise. You are given to an Oracle server and need to perform different tasks, solve problems, etc.
The review of the CMO is only given to a relatively small number of times throughout the year. Strictly speaking, there are a lot of times, but they are spread all over the world, so many times at a location any where near you will be weak - maybe one or two a year.
In addition to the exam, you must also take two practical courses acceptable to Oracle. You can find more information, including the price in your area by reading and following the links available at the following ADDRESS:

Change the default value of some columns in an oracle 11g table
I have a table called cust_file, its table consists of a large number of columns (one of these columns called cus_tax) and have a lot of data.
I use oracle 11g, I want to change the default value of the column cus_tax is equal 1.
I wrote
ALTER TABLE cust_file MODIFY (1 by DEFAULT cus_tax).
Table changed
but after I inserted new data to test the operation, I found that the new record has a value = null for the column cus_tax
then I tested it using the following query
Select data_default in the all_tab_columns where table_name = 'CUST_FILE' and column_name = 'CUS_TAX ';
no selected line
so please help me to change the default value of the cus_tax column.
Thanks for any help.
> but after I inserted new data to test the operation, I found that the new record has a value = null for the column cus_tax
If the INSERT included a NULL value for the column, the GET of a NULL inserted by default substitution.
