Oracle identity analytics schema file
Hello world!Anyone know which is the maximum number of customProperties which can be managed by the schema file and supported by OIA? Can they be appointed anyway, we need?
Best regards!
There are 20 defined custom properties that can be displayed, so I guess you can have up to 20 custom fields. You can use alphanumeric characters with mixed case characters, but do not use any special characters. Depending on the database you are using, there are restrictions on the length of the fields as well, so it's probably good to try to stay below 64.

Hello
Can someone please guide me in nice tutorials on Oracle identity analytics.
It includes OIM 11 g R2 PS2? I have to install it separately?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
Here is the link where you can get all the documents/binaries:
You can also see some Metalink in the Site of Support of Oracle for some good docs.
It is not included in R2 PS2, it's a separate product (11.1.1.5). With R2 PS3, there is no more OIA.
Thank you.

Question about Oracle identity analytics
Hello
Is it possible in Oracle identity analytics (version 11.1.1.3.0) to compare the datas in OIA and data in LDAP for example?
The goal is to see the differences between this 2 databases for roles and strategies.
If possible, can you tell me how to make that comparison?
Thanks for your help...I think not - OIA with no agents / connectors. What you can be able to model the data in the LDAP protocol as a resource in OIA and run a report against that?

Oracle Identity Federation - OID RCU failed to create schema
Hello
I try to install OIF - Oracle Identity federation according to the OBE http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/fmw/oif/11g/r1/oif_install/oif_install.htm
1. I installed the Oracle 11 g 2 11.2.0.3 with the charset = AL32UTF8 and db_block needed a staff of 8 K and nls_length_semantics = character creation database and listener.
2 install weblogic 10.3.6
3. start installation of IOM - Oracle, chosen identity management install and configure the option and the schema creation options.
4 installation goes fine, but when setting up, he fails. Here's the relevant part of the log.
I tried several times just to fail again. If someone would want us to enlighten as what goes wrong here. Let me know if you need more information about the configuration...

Error during installation of Oracle Identity Manager
Hello
I'm having a problem when trying to install Oracle Identity Manager. I'm trying it now for two days and it's always the same problem.
I have read this thread:
Oracle Identity Manager Server installation problem (but still have no idea what to do).
I'm installing in a virtual lab environment (Windows Server 2008 on VMware).
This is a new installation.
Installation scenario:_
* 1.* Oracle Database 10g (10.2.0.3)
* 2 Suite DBA of Toad for Oracle
* 3.* Oracle Weblogic Server 11g R1
* 4 Oracle Identity Manager v9.1.0.1
* 5.*
Then I create a new instance of database Oracle for Oracle Identity Manager as described here:
http://download-East.Oracle.com/docs/CD/B32386_01/generic.902/b32140/database.htm
* 6.*
Then I prepare the DB for Oracle Identity Manager by running:
prepare_xl_db.bat C:\Oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1 xelsysadm xeltbs C:\Oracle\product\10.2.0\oradata xeltbs_01 TEMP password123 password123 XAVIER
as described here (preparation of the database under Windows):
http://download-East.Oracle.com/docs/CD/B32386_01/generic.902/b32140/database.htm
* 7.*
I get no error after you run the script is finished
* 8.*
Then I run Oracle Identity Manager v9.1.0.1\OIM9101\installServer\setup_server.exe
* 9.*
I'll take the steps and after the installation of the error pop ups next:
Following error occurred during the creation of connected scheme*.
Error occurred while loading database script*.
+...\Oracle identity Manager v9.1.0.1\OIM9101\installServer\Xellerate/db/oracle/xell.sql+
Contact your DBAORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PLS-00905: object SYSTEM. PIN_OBJ is invalid ORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PL/SQL: statement ignored [07/10/09 12:18]*.
* 10.*
Then I click Next and this message pop ups:
Install oracle Identity Manager found that SetDBKey.bat failed. *
* 11
Then the installation ends / dropouts
Does anyone have an idea what is talking about this error and how to get around?
I would be really appreciated. I'm getting desperate, because I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I thank very you much in advance!Make sure that the IOM database schema is created.
This error is usually tied when the user 'SYSTEM' is used as a schema of the IOM. IOM does not account for database support as its schema SYSTEM.
After executing the prepare_db.sh, connect to the database using schema IOM to itself, if you have connectivity.

Try to download Oracle Identity and Access Management suite over 11gR2PS2 (11.1.2.2.0). While attending throguh Oracle download link,- Identity Management 11gR2PS3 (11.1.2.3.0) can be downloaded from the link below.
- Same link shows to download Identity Management 11g(11.1.2.2.0) R2PS2 at the bottom of the location
- https://eDelivery.Oracle.com/
- While going through the link above and search for identity and access management suit more, it allows to download Identity Management 11g(11.1.2.1.0) R2PS1 and Identity Management 11gR1 (11.1.1.1.0) but no identity and Access Management Suite over 11gR2PS2 (11.1.2.2.0).
If someone can provide a direct link to download identity and Access Management Suite over 11gR2PS2 (11.1.2.2.0).
Thanks in advance.

A question about the capablities of Oracle Identity manager?
Hello, everyone,
Here is our environment,
1 - we have user accounts in our database for students and employees in our academic Institute.
2. we have a Microsoft active directory for employees only, that was created many years ago.
3 - our web applications (weblogic server, ADF, other) use user accounts to database for authentication.
We plan to create a server active directory for students, we thought about using Oracle identity manager (OIM) to do.
is it possible to just directly sync & manage student accounts of microsoft oracle database active directory through IOM.
Thank you.
Hi mhaljasim ,
By my understanding, looking for some sort of tool to create users (doing the commissioning) in a target (Active directory). If this is the case, yes IOM will be a great tool for you as it has connector AD that have this capability.
Trying to help even more: research from the perspective of the solution, my understanding is you will make this workflow:
(1) created in the Oracle database user. (2) then this user will be reconciled database of IOM, IOM DB connector (in other words, the user will be created in the table user IOM). (3) then IOM will be a process of supply to create this type of user in AD, using the connector of the IOM.
But I would put another suggestion here:
If you are looking for just a matter of authentication using the users of the database as well as users of the AD. I want to suggest to look deeper into the OVD (Oracle virtual directory) tool. It is a great tool that allows you to have views of the two targest(AD +DB) at the same time and make a simple Ldap authentication against this specific point of view once. By my understanding, this can be a good option in your solution as well. Please check more on these two IDM products to:

http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/ID-Mgmt/Overview/index-098451.html
I hope that this info below helps you a lot,
Leoncio Thiago.

You can refer to the documents of RA (operating instructions, model of data). User guide will provide information on SDE and SDE batches are used to extract data from RMS.

Information data model | Oracle Identity Manager
Hi all
I'm new to "Oracle Identity Manager" and need some data model information. IOM will be our source to generate a report on Oracle BI publisher. I'm trying to understand the tables involved in the IOM and its level (i.e. column information What data it stored), relationship between the tables.
I tried searching in the documents of the Oracle, but do not have the right information.
Does anyone know on any portal or blog or book oracle reference document, which provide me with this information?
Appreciate if share you it.See the Metalink Article: 1164914.1
