Oracle logs are wrong timestamp

My DBA is woking on a fresh install of EM12c on Oracle Grid Infrustructure on a stand-alone server using ASM. She has problems with the installation of Oracle Restart. This issue, she works through a SR of Oracle.

Operating system Linux OL6.2

I'm the Admin and Linux troubleshooting, I found that newspapers under $ORACLE_HOME/log seem to have incorrect timestamps in their breast.

For example -.
#ls - the /oracle/OracleHomes/11.2/grid/log/bkvlnxgrid02/alertbkvlnxgrid02.log
-rw - rw - 1 oracle oinstall 19915 16 Oct 09:12 /oracle/OracleHomes/11.2/grid/log/bkvlnxgrid02/alertbkvlnxgrid02.log

It is the time correct system.

But the newspaper the time is in the future of nine hours-

# tail /oracle/OracleHomes/11.2/grid/log/bkvlnxgrid02/alertbkvlnxgrid02.log
2012-10-16 18:12:19.918
[evmd (8286)] CRS - 1401:EVMD started the bkvlnxgrid02 node.

The var is correct, the database system time is correct and/etc/sysconfig/clock zone entry is correct.

All the world has noticed this problem?

Hello

This question is about the time zone. Oracle uses another time zone should be put somewhere and need to find out where.

Check if profile/current oracle variables, and the root of the user for the Environment Variable 'TZ '.

Put here the output of:

$ set |grep TZ

You can also try to reconfigure your date and time zone.

# system-config-date

Try to set the variable TZ on Oracle your Environment Variables, and then restart HAS with configured TZ variable:

    Hello

    Thanks for the quick response.

As we see the log with 'tail-f var' messages, is there something like that to get a newspaper continuous messages? or only the tool LogMiner is the way to see archived log messages?

    Thank you best regards &.

I think you're confusing the archivelogs (which is what you show us) with alerts log.
The archivelog is used to recover the database.
The alerts log is where the database writes its messages of run-time 'console '. It is located in the directory specified by the background_dump_dest initialization parameter and is called "alert<$ORACLE_SID>. Newspaper. It can be read by any text editor.

I have been using Thunderbird for a long time. One day he told me that my password is incorrect. After several attempts, the correct password decided to remove the e-mail account and start to charge. Now, when I put the account it says "configuration could not be verified - is the user name and password? None of them are wrong. I tried to change the password, contact my email provider and everything works fine except when trying to use Thunderbird. The email that I had tried to set up is at work. Any help in fixing this will really appreciate it.

The best suggestion is to get the correct settings from your provider. They move to the top of their servers. They know the settings that work.

    Settings:     Custom

    WorkingSpace

-Black is not on overprinting and is 4 color black

I never had this problem before, so I don't know what was wrong all of a sudden.

Now when I open my work meaningless on Illustrator or Photoshop, a small window pops up saying work does not match this settings, etc.

    Help, please. IM desperate.

I need tomorrow to start my new portfolio

You should get a checklist before the flight with your print provider.  Here's what I put in Illustrator...

You must also send the seller PDF print ready.  Not all the problems of file are limted to the color settings.  For example...

"Last month the printer says the following:

    -fonts are not included. "

When you save as > EPS, select "Include fonts" in the selection process; When Save as > press quality PDF, select "Embedded fonts" in the settings dialog boxes.

"- black is not on overprinting and is 4 color black.

In Preferences > appearance of black, select "Clear Black" screen and printing; in your file, the appropriate value elements black overprint in the color "Attributes" dialog box

Whenever you are not sure what the printer talking about, ask them to explain what they mean and helps you solve the problems.  If they refuse, ask them where you can get help.  Most good shops will be willing to help you.

  • Given Oracle Spatial are stored in the database tables?

Given Oracle Spatial are stored in the database tables?

Oracle spatial is DBMS oracle server functionality. It allows you in NATIVE mode, store and manage all standard types of spatial data and their attributes and metadata in the oracle database enterprise, in the way that you are quite familiar with. on top of standard oracle database features, adds types of geographic data, spatial index, geometric operators and queries, functions, spatial and analytical, to name a few.

MapViewer is a feature of Oracle Fusion Middleware, which makes cards using spatial data managed by Oracle Spatial. That's what you called "generator of maps. but of course, it's not just a map generator, he has much more to offer, such as MapBuilder, WMS, Oracle cards.

  • Script to collect information on an instance of rac oracle / Linux area normal conclusion?

    Hi all
I have been instructed by the disaster recovery team to get a small quick script of race, to see what oracle instances are in a box, if it is raised, listener is running, etc.

Normal, only one node instances so far, I've had success. I retrieve the data from the file/etc/oratab and parse try it with awk to get an ORACLE_SID and ORACLE_HOME and.

This script is run as a user to the dba group, or the oracle so that each instance I try login through SQL * more than connect / as sysdba and not a request to collect information for instance that I echo the screen to determine that the instance is high and connectable.

The problem I encountered, if there is an instance listed for a node in a RAC cluster... he can't see/etc/oratab entries are quite the same using dbca for RAC nodes as normal nodes.

For example, say I have a RAC cluster that rac3 and rac1 rac2 nodes.

From what I see... on the individual nodes, in the/etc/oratab entries only seem to put in for the cluster CCR, rather that say rac1. My script that tries to set the oracle sid and home and connect / as sysdba fails. If the entry has been made there as rac1, it should work, I think.

Can anyone make any suggestions for me to use with this script, so that I can know which instance of node is running, if CARS is located on the computer... and automatically find and connect similar to how I am doing with the unique databases using/etc/oratab

Is there a similar to/etc/oratab file that is used by the clusterware on the system?

    Thanks in advance,

    Cayenne

Why don't doing by pmon... which I think does not work if she is down but up... you can just run something like:

    ps - ef | grep - v grep | grep pmon | cut '_' f d 3

or... you could use the oracle_sid you get from oratab (dbname in this case... for example) and run the following:

    srvctl status database-d $sid_from_oratab | grep 'hostname ' | AWK '{print $2} '.

My question is why my 30 to 66 sequence archivelog file are not saved with the database in v$ archived_log and how to solve this problem.

    Thank you
    Umesh

You may need to increase the CONTROL_FILE_RECORD_KEEP_TIME value.

If the archivelogs are still on the disk, you can try to catalog them with:

    RMAN> catalog start with '/home/oracle/DataBaseBackups/ArchiveDest/;

or if you don't need the file you can simply remove the o/s and run the following:

    RMAN> crosscheck archivelog all;
    RMAN> delete expired archivelog all;

  • Photos downloaded from iCloud are wrong to timestamp

Recently, I put my iPhone to "Optimize storage" so that my photos are all housed in iCloud. I always liked keep a backup of my photos on my Mac library. The problem is that when I download pictures from iCloud Photos, all files have a creation date of the day of the download instead of the day, that the photo was taken in fact!

I searched online and read the suggestions in the "export Original", but I think it's the old Photos? Right now, all I see on iCloud.com > Photos is a download top-right button.

iCloud is displayed the photos with all the dates on the right. But it came out on my Mac, all the details are missing... Really disappointed because I don't want to have to manually date everything. There must be a solution?

See the explanation of leonie here to see if this might help - an incorrect export of iCloud photo date

  • How do I know that the event log are reported to any server

    Hello

I can see all the event logs and error logs using the event viewer. But I want to know if newspapers are reported to some server just we report about a bug or non-response to application/software using the reporting window.
I want to check if the event errors are reported on some server or not, if yes, to which server it is reported. Is this possible?
The observer of events, or any application in the windows operating system keeps track of these reported error logs.
    Thank you
    Pankaj

    Hello

As mentioned by Palcouk, Event Viewer records all events and activities on your computer but does not send it to any server. The call you have received is wrong / will call that could come from a potential hacker.

I suggest that you go through the items listed below.

  • The EM console has the feature archive / move logs area/application on a recurring basis as a cron job?

Our client has determined they want the server to backup/archive/move logs regularly and need to know if the EM console has built-in features to the app itself archive/move/backup of these files on a regular basis as would a cron job.  If so, what are the steps in the console 'EM to do?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hello

There are several ways to reach these

    (1) If you already have a script as a cron Job, which can be automated by practice below.

    OEM--> business--> Job--> library--> create OS command ' use of the library-->

In parameter--> choose the command type as script--> and use your script. (If you change the interpreter for usage on the host instead of the default, it is recommended to provide the full path (example: % perlbin %/perl))))

    (2) for backup Archives, as--> above, you can create job of the RMAN SCript library

    Or

backup archives page 2) go to the database ==> "Availability", "Backup and recovery", "Backup settings" (in the location of backup of configuration etc.) and 'Recovery catalog settings' (to register for production DB in the catalog DB).

Then you can customize the following scheduled backup:

Go to 'Schedule backups', 'tailor-made backup', follow the full hot backup schedule screen.

    I got some alternatives...

    1. download the app "Contact more" Google play for free. This app is fantastic. Directory, call log and messages contain in this pack. 3-one... Start using this app and make it default. It has its own Dialer too... don't have not to worry about anything whatsoever supplied lenovo...

    2. for these face 'menu' switch delivers here: Please download "KK Launcher" by google google kitkat team play store... He's the pitcher more beautiful, and you can forget the Launcher lenevo - stupid bastards... Also do this by default of the Launcher.

Don't forget one thing: do not remove or force shutdown or dissable the Launcher lenevo or other applications by lenovo. just let it be there... do not use that... That's all...

both apps above solved 99% of my problems...
