Order of execution within the fieldChanged()

In the following code example, the EditLead() function is executed at the same time as a dialog box that displays above it.  However, I want the dialog box to appear only after that I left the EditLead() function.

Any help will be greatly appreciated:

' Public Sub fieldChanged (field field, int context) {}

If {(field.equals (customObjListField))
selectedIndex int = customObjListField.getSelectedIndex ();

If (rows.getEmployeeId (selectedIndex) .equals (employeeId)) {}

UiApplication.getUiApplication () .pushScreen (new EditLead ((Hashtable) tableRows.elementAt (selectedIndex),))
urlPostField,
selectedIndex,
customObjListField,
lines));

Dialog.Alert ("test");

}

}
}

Thank you

Steve

As an alternative, instead of using pushScreen, you can use pushModalScreen, which blocks until the EditLead screen is closed.

  • Control the order of execution of the init/release

    I have a small program that I write in LabView.  It has an API (one set of screws to wrapping the functions of the DLL to control a device).

    Other such programs in the Gayshop make liberal use of the structures of the sequence.  I understand that the sequence into LabVIEW structures are not usually recommended.  I am writing my program with the best style of LabVIEW (as far as I understand - I'm still a relative novice in LabVIEW).

    I found that I could wire together the error / mistake Terminal to create a data flow to control the order of execution and it works beautifully.

    However, there are some cases where it is not enough.

    Here is an example.  I hope that the answer to this will answer my other questions.  If this is not the case, perhaps that I'll post more.

    One of the first live I call is an Init function.  One of the last screw is the release function.

    The release function must be called at the end, after the rest of the program executed (in this case, it is after the user requests the stop).  It should be naturally at the end (or almost) of the error string in / out connections error (as it is currently).

    However, the error it receives, which will determine whether or not he will run, should be the output of Init.  Release should work even if something else has failed.

    I enclose a photo showing the problem, with most of the code snipped out (as exactly what is happening in the middle is not relevant).

    What is the elegant way to handle this in LabVIEW.  Is it really a deal for a structure of the sequence, or is there a way more pleasant or better?  How would you recommend handling?

    Thank you very much.

    BP

    I agree with what pincpanter said, more you will need to use the status of the function 'Init '.

    Note that you can ignore the error and make the merger within the Vi version if you wish.

  • How to determine the order of execution of the structure of the event

    Hello world

    I have a structure of the event were it contains four events. All the four events a separate buttons to run. Here, three events generates a digital output, remains an event (Finder) should find the order of these three events. For example, three events namely A, B and C. I run events in the order B, C and has. The event finder should find the order of the events previously performed (B, C and A).

    Thanks in advance.

  • Order of execution model

    The States VS 2011 helps:

    ************************************

    Strap of model execution

    Each model run loop running a compiled template for. The number of loops execution model is determined by the number of models specified in system definition file. By iteration, the loop of each model is run performs the following tasks:

    • Reads the data sent by the primary control loop and maps those data to the inputs of the model.

    • Performs a single step of the model.

    • Reads the values of model output and sends this data to the primary control loop.

    **************************************

    Suppose that:

    • I have 3 models such as the output of each model is directed towards the entrance of the next model: model 1 model 2 > model 3

    • with channels correspondents mapping such as:

    Model1_output <---->Model2_input

    Model2_output <---->Model3_input

    • The order of execution is set to "parallel."

    • Decimation of model is set to 1 for all three.

    The three models will run within the same tick PCL "in parallel" in the context of loop PCL, while running in series in the time slot of ticks because of the way the channel map is defined?

    THX.

    L.

    Lol stream mapping does not determine the order of execution.  In parallel mode, the three models receive identical entries of the PCL.  These entries are based on the previous iteration of the system.  The outputs of the model of the iteration (N-1) update the PCL at the beginning of the iteration (N), and these updates are available as inputs of the model during the iteration (N).

    In your case:

    Check 1

    Write A for model 1, model 1 run and written was ' to PCL

    Tick 2

    Model 2 Gets A' starting from PCL, runs and writes A "to PCL

    Tick 3

    Model 3 Gets A "PCL, performs and writes A" ' to PCL

    If this is not desirable, you should put the standard models of the category of the order of execution under the Simulation models in System Explorer.  This makes the outputs of the model available on other models in the same iteration of the PCL.  Note, there is no output model available for the rest of the system until the next iteration of the PCL.

  • Order of execution

    Hi can I want to know the order of the functions in the diagram below. Although all the functions to receive data at the same time why the functions of top down when I see highlight execution?

    The answer to your question, is that the order of execution is "unknown", or "variable" or "unpredictable."  If you impose another system on it (like that LabVIEW uses to "highlight the execution"), another set of 'unknown rules' may also come into play.

    The principle of data flow said that examples like your run in parallel to the best of the ability of the system - on a multi-core multi-threaded CPU, they might actually run in parallel on separate nuclei.

    When teaching LabVIEW, I use an example where I create a parallel structure and ask students to predict the order of execution.  I ran the same code several times, and always the order of execution of the parallel lines varied.

    If you mean by 'id' 'sequence' then Yes, it determines the order. The order may not correspond to the components with the same sequence, so the best practice is to be explicit and give them values of different sequence to give the desired order.

    Since you're already on 10.2, you can identify the actual execution plan by checking in V$ SESSION SQL_ID and SQL_CHILD_NUMBER column. This can be used to identify the plan in V$ SQL_PLAN (columns SQL_ID and CHILD_NUMBER) and in 10g, you can use the convenient DBMS_XPLAN. Function DISPLAY_CURSOR for the information of the real plan using these two parameters.

  • What order are the nodes synchronized within the same NodeCollection?

    Basically, is it a guarantee of the order of synchronization within a NodeCollection? I guess that there is and that it is based on the order in which the nodes were created. For example, in the SimpleChatModel the node creation order is:

    HISTORY_NODE_EVERYONE

    HISTORY_NODE_PARTICIPANTS

    HISTORY_NODE_HOSTS

    TYPING_NODE_NAME

    During the synchronization of will I receive all messages in HISTORY_NODE_EVERYONE before receiving * ANY * messages for HISTORY_NODE_PARTICIPANTS? HISTORY_NODE_PARTICIPANTS all messages sent before HISTORY_NODE_HOSTS sends its messages? When I say "sent" I'm not as well what is the actual network traffic (I don't like on the order of actual arrival package, it's your job CAA developers ), that I really care to know if ItemRecieve for HISTORY_NODE_PARTICIPANTS can get executed while HISTORY_NODE_EVERYONE continues to receive messages?

    Why cross the next level in the hierarchy of the NodeCollection level takes a NodeCollection to be fully synchronized before another NodeCollection (called subscribe after the first) can retrieve messages from ItemRecieve? If NodeCollection agreed before NodeCollection B is a guarantee to get synced before B? At end synchronization before B gets his first message?

    I started having a problem where I have to make sure that some knots are synchronized before I begin to receive messages to other nodes. I of course can I check dependencies on reception and simply to postpone the execution until the dependency is sync'd, but this will create a lot more code points of failure that I really wanted to. I expected an easier way to do it.

    Hello

    To begin to answer, its recommended that the collection that node is fully synchronized i.e. synchronization change event was pulled on it before you update your template or change anything in the user interface. We have built complex applications of this practice. So, I'm not sure of a use case where you can not do the update after your collectionNode synchronized and update the model and the view that collectionNode.isynschronized is true.

    This will avoid any dependency data between nodes in a node in the collection.

    Similarly, if the data between two nodes from the collection are dependent on each other, you can do them under a collectionNode.

    And finally, we are not going for a specific order.

    I hope this helps.

    But please let us know the use for your case.

  • Y at - it a State chart type or the flowchart describing the order of execution process model?

    One of my clients asked me this question...

    I have a problem with a change in the order of execution in TestStand 4.1.1.  [he has improved from 3.1 to 4.1.1]  It seems that ProcessModelPreStep runs earlier in 4.1.1 to 3.1.  This causes our model of error because some required variables have not been set when executing.  I wish that was a big flow chart or a diagram of the State for TestStand.  Maybe it is and I don't know where to look?

    The reminder that you describe is a reminder of engine and is independent of the process template.  There is a list of all actions and their order described in the TestStand reference manual in Chapter 3 of the section called "step Execution.  You will see the action 11 is a reminder of previous step motor.

  • process of execution of the order by clause

    What is the process of execution of the order clause in the sql statement and how it will affect the performance of the query.

    Siddharth Singh says:
    What is the process of execution of the order clause in the sql statement

    Depends on. First of all, that you mean "alrogithmically, how Oracle data products ordered"? There are a number of different approaches. Data can be ordered as you pick up sequentially from an index. Or it can be explicitly materialized and sorted.

    and how it will affect the performance of the query.

    Depends on. There could be no impact because it relies on the index to classify the data and index is the most effective path independently of the presence of an ORDER BY. Or it could require a huge amount of time to materialize and sort several GB of data.

  • The OSM language, how to cancel and suspend execution by the billing for the order.

    I have 2 simple questions:
    1. can I change the language of the OSM in Spanish? I've seen instructions on guide/location OSM developer but I can´t do.

    2. I know that I can suspend and cancel an order whit the help of 'OrderManagementWS.wsdl' or with the Web Client. But how can I suspend that part of the order of the order, for example in a single order can came with elements of different order which will create the various tasks depending on the granularity, but the spouse that I need to suspend only the execution of a product that is entered into the order, how can I do this? Or I just can´t?

    Thank´s for your help.

    Lucas.

    Lucas;

    Thanks for the additional information. I have read the document, it helped me to understand your scenario.

    You still wonder if what is the business scenario which triggers the need to suspend a specific agenda item.

    The challenge in doing that is that an element of order may appear in a part of the order as well as many other items of the order. This is why the Act to suspend any treatment about to an order can affect makes many other items order up to and including the entire order.

  • complete execution while the background thread runs

    After the passage of TestStand 4.1 in 2012, I see an interesting problem.

    I start a MainSequence via the SinglePass execution entry point using the parallel model. In ProcessSetup (in the execution of N), I start a background thread that performs certain tasks for viewing. Then the model passes by "Initialize TestSockets" and starts my MainSequence (in year N + 1).

    While the MainSequence is running, run N hangs in ParallelModel.seq > Single Pass, step "Wait for TestSockets", as it should. Usually, when the MainSequence is over, puts an end to execution and execution N goes to the next step "Check to terminate" and some time later, it passes through ProcessCleanup - where I'd send my background thread notification to stop.

    It works as long as I do not start the background thread. But when this thread is running, the execution of N + 1 never leaves the MainSequence. I arrive at a breakpoint at the end of MainSequence, ahead, and then all executions are happily showing a green light and continue to operate on. So running N never leaves "Waiting for TestSockets" and never reaches ProcessCleanup, so my son does not receive the signal of endpoint etc.

    But I distinctly remember that it worked in TestStand 4.1, and anyway, I don't understand this. Why, a background, started in the execution of N, thread prevents the execution of N + 1 to terminate?

    Concerning

    Peter

    "When execution starts a sequence in a new thread (not waiting for the thread to finish at the end of the sequence), should take care at the end of his MainSequence wire in order to put an end to herself in order for execution to terminate?"

    What do you mean by terminate? Process templates are not normally completed executions. Do you mean, "all discussions in an execution must complete before the end of the execution?"? If so, then the answer is Yes.

    I'm not completely your explanations above. I'm not sure what you mean by signs, but I think you're misunderstanding what terminate means in TestStand. Termination occurs only when a user explicitly requests a run to finish (e.g. finish all) or your sequence has an action to complete or by program initiates a terminate. Without endpoint explicit that past, executions normally end when all threads are finished executing. If you are spawning runs and new threads, you must come up with a mechanism to let them know when they have to leave. I do NOT recommend relying on or using termination for this. Termination is as abandoned (but with a cleaning), it is not intended to be something that happens in the normal flow of execution. There are several ways to tell your worker when all discussions. Perhaps this posting you are referring to is a way. You can also use a notification teststand step, or a Boolean value in reference parameter.

    Hope this helps to clear things up,

  • Sequential execution of the structure of the event?

    Greetings,

    I'm at the very beginning of the development of applications. I have a list of 10 tests (we just call test 1 test 10). I would (ideally) for a user to have the option of selecting 1 or even 10 tests, any combination basically (listbox, it was what I thought). Now the kicker is, I want a structure of event related to this list box. And run each index table selected by the user. So if the user must select test 1, test 2 and test 6, I had received a table of 0, 1, and 5, respectively. The structure of the event should run sequentially as a result. Right now I plan each event at the outbreak would run a state machine for the test itself. So if test 1 was a simple test of current draw (just for example). The user would choose 1 Test that raises the corresponding event. The event inside a state machine would execute the necessary market, TAKE the MEASURE of CURRENT, STOP says finally.

    I've tried my hand at a cluster with Boolean values, but did not too far. Even though I know there is a solution somewhere within the cluster and the binder for Boolean types inside for the value change. But I need allow the user time to choose all the tests to run before launching the sequential execution of the structure of the event.

    I'm sorry if I missed something, I am still drinking my coffee Sunday I do not have a VI to post. I tried yesterday with no luck and the best test I had too many nested loops.

    Thanks in advance for any help in this matter. I feel I've hit a moment "DUH" in the development process. But I find it difficult to set up a structure of the event to run several events in the event generated by 1 user.
