  Welcome to the Forums - there is no way to upgrade to move form ESX to ESXi because basically they are the same product, the difference is the way they are managed - ESX has the Service Console for manangement and ESXi you manage directly through the vmkernel - there going to the ot to be fresh install.

When they asked for the model number, they said that it is YT816, which is be a dell reference number. So I was wondering if I should buy them or consider buying a player different manufacuturer in the foreign market?

• Replaced the hard drive, need help with drivers and utilities!

  Yesterday, I replaced my old hard drive with a new WD, and I reinstalled Windows Vista.  Everything goes fine until I jumped in the utilities and drivers (Resource CD) supplied with the laptop.  I guess I thought that the CD all the work, would do to reinstall all the necessary drivers and utilities...  Now I'm stuck with a laptop computer that cannot connect to the internet, and the screen is too big.  I don't know there is more wrong with my laptop than meets the eye.  On the CD of drivers & utilities there the list of drivers and some of them have check marks, others do not.  I tried following some online course on which those who/what order to upload, but I don't even have some recommended drivers on the Dell.com site (specific to my Inpiron 1545 model)!  I know that I could download them immediately the site, but I don't even have wifi to do.

  In addition, I read the performance of a Dell Factory Image Restore and I tried it.  When I get the black screen with no option, I have to click on "Repair computer" but the option is not available either... I thought that maybe it would be an easy way to restore my laptop (readers and all) to the original settings.  Maybe the option is not there because my computer is practically empty, with nothing to restore? All I have on my laptop at the moment is Windows Vista 64 bits and drivers a couple that I don't know much.

  SATA SSD have the same footprint than conventional hard drives (some may be thinner than 2 mm, but the closing screws are adjusted for difference) Although adapters can be provided, you must not use in your MBP.  I installed three SSD in my Mac without adapters.

  Here's the answer to your question from the research I've done. The upgrade to 8.0 8.1 is free. All you have to do is to ensure that all the required updates for your computer is done first. In my opinion, 8.1 is easier to use and I like it better than 8.0. However, an upgrade to 8.1 pro must be purchased and you can only go to pro 8.1 platform after the first passage at 8.1. If you need you can connect to an area of work or school, you will need to get 8.1 pro because you can not do 8.1. I hope this helps!

  • Please specify what adobe patch are you talking about?
  • A you kept a backup pf your LR catalog and images somewhere before moving on to Windows 10.
  • You have access to your original images, or they went too?
  • Try to search the catalog using windows search, .lrcat is the extension of the catalogue, see if you find something.

  Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

  None of these things should be a problem.

  Video is automatically disabled. The BIOS does not care what the material is in the slots PCI, CD-ROM etc.

  They will all be rediscovered and everything should work.

  OK, here's the scenario.

  Background:
  My old computer with Windows XP has been installed on a hard disk of 40 GB. Later through subsequent updates, I bought the upgrade Windows Vista Professional (retail) and proceeded to install Vista on a brand new 250 GB hard drive. Initially, he had some problems I did a clean install with upgrade to Vista, but then with the help of Mircrosoft support (and several hours of reformats and corrupt the old installation of XP) managed to get Vista installed hard disk new and active. I kept the old drive hard in the computer for about a year, but then noticed that he was starting to get out. I moved all the old information off the drive and recently bought a 1 TB drive to replace.   When I take the old 40 GB hard drive to reside on Windows XP, my computer when startup is unable to find a drive it can boot from. Under disk management, it is labeled as system - even if the windows directory is on a completely separate drive. My intention was to replace the old hard drive, but I can't get my computer to recognize that it is not on the system drive somehow.

  Is it possible to change what hard drive is recognized as a system disk or make sure I can get out the old hard drive and still keep my bootable system?

  Thanks for posting in the Microsoft answers Forum.  First off I would say that, before trying any of the suggestions I'm about to do that you completely back up the contents of the drive with Vista Business as a precaution.  The first suggestion I have is to copy the MBR of the disk of 40G to 250G drive.  It could be as simple as that.  However, when Windows sees a drive and initializes it, Windows writes a serial number of 4 bytes in the MBR (sector 0) of the disc. No matter what partition you create on this disc is then associated with the serial number and the drive letter that the partition is given.

  When you then progress to clone a boot partition on the new disk with a cloning program that does not copy the MBR, the serial number of the old drive is not copied to the new disk, so the new disk retains its serial number Windows has seen before.

  When Windows starts on the new disc, he sees the serial number of the new drive and guess the partition that is on that now belongs to the previously selected drive letter which is almost always not C:. Since installing Windows starts on C:, there is now no C: drive when Windows starts. Trying to connect allows Windows attempts to load the user from C:\Documents and Settings\registry, and the C: drive is not there, so Windows simply to abandon the attempt to logon and closes a session back.

  If this happens to you after copy the MBR of the disk of 40G to 150G Unit let us know and we can help you solve the problems that.  I hope this information is useful.
