While searching for information complete this application I hit the tab of "USB" top XP VM and unknown device (my DVD?) and HP 8500 printer could be installed via "USB" so at least for the FIRST TIME in 2 years they are printing and working on the USB cable! This isn't a separate DVD, but the one inside the laptop. Sometimes, it works on the XP desktop, most of the time I navigate the DVD disk and force the autorun from running by using "RUN" in the start menu. I still don't know what happens if I spell (or close safely) the peripheral attached USB (printer) or if it will tie next time without putting in place (he has created four more settings of printer/fax machine (series 2!) on my list of printers.) I don't know what is happening, but its nice to see a page out of the "Notepad"or "wordpad" for the first time in two years! ".

  Now, all I need is to happen wireless!

  Here's a tip for the user on the problems of Wi - Fi. Suggest from the top and bottom. Maybe one of them will help you.

  (1) restart you device.

  (2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

  (3) reboot router/Modem: unplug power for 2 minutes and reconnect. Update the Firmware on the router (support Web site of the manufacturer for a new FW check). Also try different bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and different bandwidths (recommended for 2.4 to 20 MHz bandwidth). Channels 1, 6 or 11 are recommended for 2.4 band.
