• Need help to organize music

  Hi all

  I just build my first PC, after my last laptop was stolen.

  The thing is I need a good way to organize my music collection now and I have a problem with that.

  I'm a DJ so I have two computers, one is my office where I listen to music every day and one is a laptop that I use to go to the place I DJ at and when I come home from uni weekend

  The thing I had in mind was to put all my music on a HARD drive and use it as a base. Is it possible to easily sync music from one PC to the other via iTunes?

  I want to be able to do is the following:

  1. Add music with itunes on my desktop

  2. Add music with itunes on my laptop

  3 synchronization new library to a library on the HARD drive

  4 synchronize desktop and laptop to the library of HARD drives

  All of this must be possible in each order.

  I don't want to put all the new songs on the disc manually HARD and after that on a PC. Also, it would be really nice if playlists are kept intact/synchronized well.

  I hope you understand what I want / need.

  Looks like you are looking for a way to have the same iTunes library available for two different computers.  I can certainly understand the convenience of the present and am confident that I can help you.

  The best solution would be to use iTunes game.  iTunes game stores all your music to iCloud and allows access from all your devices, including PC.  iTunes game would achieve all the items on your list of things you want to be able to do.  If you add music to iTunes on one computer, it will appear on the other computer automatically.  Complete information is available here:

• How do I access my account Organizer music?

  I am 16 years old and have my own apple ID so I can get separate e-mails and messages from my phone. However, by dad, the 'organizer' family like it says on the Division of the family, has all the music I want on my devices, but the day before with family sharing together to the top, I can't buy any new music without set up my credit card, or even to get his music. Is there a way to fix this?

  He is the administrator of the system and probably you placed in a Parental control account which limits what you can do and access. There probably doesn't want you using his credit card. Nothing that we can do here about it, and in fact, we are not even Apple employees.

• Clip 8 GB don't organize music files

  I have several ripped CD I want to put on my 8 G Clip.  The songs were torn like MP3s using Sound Juicer.  After copy in the directory of the music of the Clip and the disassembly, the Clip said to update the database, as expected, but there is no organization of music - no album, no name of artist - all tracks are in the unknown group.  Using EasyTag program I can see the artist and album tags on mp3 files ripped when I get the Clip.

  The clip firmware is V02.0116A

  I have tried everything I know - any suggestions?

  Tags cannot be written in the format preferred by the Sansa players. They should be ID3v2.3 ISO 8859-1 (other formats may cause all sorts of weird behavior). I don't know if they can be saved in this format with EasyTag, but it's simple to do with MP3Tag.

• Organize music files in Windows Media Player after extraction.

  Whenever I ripped a cd with Windows Media Player, all the titles of the songs are all in the right order and therefore not in the right order, why? I use Windows Media Player after all to get the missing information from the album. So why do this?

  Track one becomes track 2 and 5 becomes 7 then what happens? And I tried to edit myself as well but every time I click Update album info it just messes up amel!

  When you rip (copy) the tracks on a CD, Windows Media Player attempts to identify songs on the CD by connecting to Internet and search of the database of Windows Media, which is run by Microsoft. In most cases, the player is able to retrieve information of media of the database online and then add the information to the files Windows Media Audio (WMA) or MP3 which are created during the ripping process.

  Check the settings of the library in windows media player. Steps to follow:

  a. open Windows media player

  b. click on organize

  c. Select Options, select the Library tab

  d. under automatic updates media for files, overwrite all of the missing information, must be deselected

• organize music dysfunctional WM12

  Hello!

  With WM11 it is possible with advanced tag editor to leave the titles for example the 'unknown artist' card to the card with the correct name of the artist.

  Today, I discovered that they forgot to put this function in WM12. Did not like this surprise. I also see that it is not possible to downgrade.

  So, how to organize my songs now? For example, these songs in "unknown artist"?

  I already tried to change the data by clicking on "find albuminfo" and add artit name, but unfortunaly the WM12 does not receive this trick and leaves tracks in the unknown artist folder.

  350 is a little to untangle, but you should be able to group some of them and make your job easier...

  Get titles grouped together as "Unknown artist" (or ditto '...) Album ") when these titles (sets of tracks) properties are incomplete."

  In WMP highlight one of the strangers that you want to move and right-click - and then select "open file location". Then click on 'Properties' file and the 'Détails' tab, you will see the following - in which you can insert the correct information and click 'apply '. Do and if all goes well, you should see the track move to the location of an artist right in wmp (btw I'm not expecting you to do it with all the tracks... • do not play in Media player 12 playlists

  Media Player 12.0 (latest version), Windows 7.  Playlists do not play.  The list of playlists, the icons appear when I click on playlists.  But by clicking on any playlist does nothing.  Click right options do not work.  Under organize, music of the gale, the location of the file is correct.  I use an SSD, so I keep my documents, pictures and music on a hard drive of 1 t (d).  My playlists are found in the Playlists of D:\Music\Music\My.   Interestingly, the REAL path is: D:\Music\My Musique\Mes Playlists.  In manage music, I deleted the link to the playlist and re-done.  He became \music\music, not Musique\Mes music.  in other words, my music has been changed to the music.  Hmm.  However, my 90G of music plays very well D:\Music\Music.

• Windows Media Player seems to automatically organize my music filed manually.

  I have a set of music that I use for a class.  I had arranged it in a folder in my music and I put the album folders.  My problem is that whenever I use it, Windows Media player seems to take my music on records, which I had spent time organize and put it in a folder of artist, followed by an album folder.  I was wondering if I could get more information on the functioning of this feature and how to disable or even better, how to disable it for specific folders (which would be even more useful).

  I know that most music players are really interested in the Organization of file - they just put together all the music files in a list and sort by album, artist, etc..  I would like to be able to control the organization record since it does not matter to the program, but it is important for me.  I use usually just Windows Explorer to organize my music is a bit frustrating when WMP wants to take care of the Explorer for me! ;-)

  Maybe it was the wrong part of the forum to ask the question, I asked originally, but I found the solution in any case. Apparently, I just needed to go to the menu of options of Windows Media Player 12, go to the Library tab and uncheck the "Rename music files using rip music settings" and "Rearrange music in rip music folder, using rip music settings," which I believe have been enabled by default.

  I need a multimedia application for my desktop which will allow me to organize the music and podcasts, and then transfer them on my 8350i. Currently, I use a Zune and its software, but want to start using the BB for convenience.

  I am running Vista and apparently its incompatible with the Media Manager (spent all day with technical support, no response) I can drag and drop individual songs from the Explorer to the BB, but not playlists or albums.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated! (if you haven't guessed, I know squat about computers, the non-technical answers would be most useful)

  If your files are organized on your PC: with all the songs of an album, in a folder and playlist from the album in this folder then you can simply drag-and - drop whole album. Then the playlist will be recognized by the appliance.

  Alternatively, you can use 'appl itunes' or 'windows media player' on your PC and then use BlackBerry Media Sync 2.0 on your PC, allowing you to synchronize the music between iTunes/WMP playlists and your multimedia Application on your BlackBerry.

• Two issues of music organization associated with iCloud

  I recently decided to clean up a bit of my iTunes library and have met with a number of things.  I guess pretty basic, but I was not able to find the right keywords to find them in search of these forums, so apologies in advance.

  First of all, I chose to use iCloud and subscribe to Apple music and generally met.  I understand to maximize my ability to use it I have to have iCloud activitated.  What I didn't know is that music I actually bought either from online services or downloaded from the loyal CD have been uploaded to the cloud and I've been streaming them when listening to them.  Hmmmm.  I can't wait to use the data for something like that.  So I started to go through a download individual albums on my phone, but it takes a long time.  Is there an easier way?

  Also, when things are going upward, toward the cloud, Apple has placed a few albums in 'compilations' when they should be associated with a particular artist.  Is there a way to get out them of compilations and "re-label" so to speak?  Curiously, when I click on "Music" on my mac, they are very well... it's just on my iPad, they are a little twisted.  I realize that I could just search for them, but sometimes I'm in a scroll and see what catches my fancy in the mood type and have them in different tabs which makes difficult.

  Use iTunes on your computer.

  If the albums are always on iTunes, you can check and synchronize those you love to your iPhone.  If the albums don't aren't there, you can download them to your computer instead of the iPhone.

• How can I organize my music with iTunes and iTunes game folder?

  I used iTunes for Windows for a few years and 2 years ago started with iTunes game. There are 81 000 files in my folder of music, with 35 000 files in a subfolder of my iTunes. iTunes has about 10,000 songs. Some songs are in my music only and some are in the music/iTunes/media folder. Some are both. With 81 000 files, it is impossible to set this manually. Is it possible to do this with iTunes?  I've never played music with other programs. Is the set of the 'my music' folder in Windows managed by iTunes?  I have a double file Finder application that will get rid of DUP, but I worry that a lot of the music is not in iTunes game. How can I fix the entire folder? Where can I I start again with iTunes game?

  It is fully automatic.  You cannot select where the notes will be allocated to the staff.  You can only unite all the notes on the same staff, if you prefer.  If yu click on the key, you can merge the two staves into one:

  

• Music Albums disorganization - how do you organize?

  I just bought and download the soundtrack to the film 'Cars' for my daughter. When I look into the application of music 'Albums' tab, I noticed that 9 albums 'cars Original Soundtrack", one for each artist. How can I set up so that the album is listed only once?

  I tried other applications of music like Winamp and the same thing happens - there are 9 'Cars Original Soundtrack' albums that are projected.

  I also tried to go in the "amazonmp3" folder in the SD card, create a new folder for the soundtrack of Cars and move all the individual music files in album. Then I deleted the individual folders for each artist to the soundtrack album. But it does not work.

  This sounds like the songs tags are incorrect.

  You say you have winamp so that we will modify the tags there.

  View songs in your media library and then highlight ONE of the songs, right-click on it and then click on edit metadata:

  

  You can see that I have the artist, Album and artist of the Album checked tags. You must check the box to change the tag. Make sure that the tag of the artist (this is the song) is correct. Sometimes with purchased music from the albums of various artists the artist info is in the Album artist tag. If you need copy the info from the Album artist in the artist tag. Make sure that the title of the Album reads as you want - it must be exactly the same for every song on the album. Then change the Album artist to various or Various Artists (whichever you prefer). Make sure that the check box for the update record labels is selected, and then click Refresh.

  If the news of the artist was in the artist box you can change the tags for several pieces at once to select them then right click and select edit metadata.

  Make sure that the tags to the update file box is selected, and then change the tag of the Album and the Album artist tag. When you update the information that you enter must be written in all the songs that you selected.

  Edit tags Album and artist of the Album for all the songs at once is a good way to make sure that they are all the same.

  If you prefer to have a dedicated tag editor I suggest mp3tag.
