OTA application deployment

Hi all.

Can someone please put me in the right path for deploying applications OTA (Over The Air)

Here's my problem.

I created a Java application using eclipse plug-ins; the name of the application is PP; as a result, it has generated the following files:

PP.jad

PP.cod

PP.jar

PP.axl

inside PP.jar (among others), there 1.cod PP PP - 2.cod and PP.cod (which has a different size of the PP.cod mentined above)

I deployed with success my PP app to the device using a USB cable via the Fund Manager of BB, but I'm stuck trying to deploy OTA.

In my public URL (accessible and visible from the device Explorer); I copied the PP.jad; PP.jar and PP.cod

The problem is that when I type my url *.jad since the device Explorer (Ej: http:www.myserver.com/download/PP.jad )

get http 404 (not found) error and I can't get it to work.

My understanding is that the Explorer are the PP.jad; but this jad has something inside.

I already tried a number of things like:

-Edit my file PP.jad to point the finger the *.jar and *.cod full instead of url

RIM-COD-URL-1: PP - 1.cod

-Unpack all PP-* .cod included in PP.jar in my download directory (and point the url full in the jad propper entry.)

-Make sure that the sizes of *.jar and *.cod in PP.jad ar good.

-Make sure the equipment of the Explorer, I can actually view the contents of my download directory

-J' tried (successfully) to download and install a standard midlet to the same URL to download.

basically I ran out of options so far, so if anyone can help me with this; I'm very happy that.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Hi all we finally got it works!

the problem was that my configuration page has been created on an IIS 6.0 web server and was not the correct MIME parameters required by BB OTA commissioning. I found myself adding these MIME and it works. the .jad files: text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor

the .cod files: application/vnd.rim.cod

(optional) .jar files: application/java-archive

Thank you

  • How to restrict access to the service web application deployed on weblogic for user group only

I built the web service application in jdevelopler 11.1.1.7. Their security policy applied in the web service of the default Oracle policy which is (policy: Wssp1.2 - 2007-Https-UsernameToken - Plain.xml)

Now all want to access the web service application must provide the name of user and password in the header section of the SOAP request to meet the requirement of the policy.

the following steps I'm trying to restrict access to the application of web service with a specific group of users among users of weblogic:

Connect to the weblogic administration console

Choose Add Conditions-> Group-> Type in the name of the Group

  • External link or iFrames to show an application deployed inside my portal template

    Greetings,

After days of post in the forums for discussion of WebLogic Portal with no response, I'm showing the same

discussion here, hoping someone can help me in this task.

I'm using JDeveloper 11.1.1.7 and I create a web portal application.

I have adf applications deployed on a stand-alone weblogic server that works very well.

In my portal, I add an external link, inside the model-navigation-by default (used for example oracle)

to make my application within the context of the portal area. (I'm trying to use iFrames, but it did not work)

If I add another web page, it works fine, it shows my menu of the portal on top when the banner is, menu,

and the Web site below. But when I add an external link to show my application, it doesn't show anything, just

white white background. I also noticed, it happens if I add google website also.

There are bonds that I have to disable in weblogic, so it can be rendered on my web portal?

I use jdeveloper 11 GR 2, so pls don't tell me to use jdeveloper 11 GR 1 material. because, I hv already developed an application for my final year of Bachelor and I can't migrate to the previous version. So there is only one way for me to generate the ear file and the deployment of the console.

    Thus,.
I m not getting what is the problem and what will be the solution for this?
    What should I do?
    What changes are required?

Please, help me out of this problem!

Well hosting Cloud Oracle ADF applications is for the ADF * 11.1.1-then you will not be able to deploy an application developed with * 11.1.2 thereon.
If you don't want to revert to the version support for JDeveloper, I suggest that you look in the other accommodation options.

  • OSB10gR3 - application deployment

    Hello

I have my apps running on linux. Deploy the jar of my local path in windows (by accessing sbconsole through IE and deployment through import of System Administration resources). I want to know where the details of the application deployed to the OSB will be stored. I also wanted to know if the jar deployed via sbconsole... will be available in the area...

    Thank you
    Barros.

    Hi Baro,

If the jar is also present in the field, or that such content as mentioned by you in the path.

Only the content will be available on the file system and not the pot of sbconfig.

BTW, why looking jar in the file system?

  • Manager of application deployment process

Can someone inform me on the ADM in siebel 8.0?
If possible, explains how to export LOV using LOV in siebel 8

Manager of Application Deployment Guide has an introduction to the component.

    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/B40099_02/books/AppDeployMgr/AppDeployMgrTOC.html

In short, Yes, it will allow you to migrate LOVs from one environment to another, as well as many other configuration items non-referentiel.

We tried to use it in 7.8, but was missing in many places (hierarchical LOVs were a pain, for one) but I hear things are much improved in 8.

  • Can not read the RTC in an application deployed on cRIO9022

    Hello

I built a datalogging application that stores data in a file name to the name = current date/time on USB. It works fine when connected over the network to the development computer, however, when it is deployed as a start VI, section date and time to the file name are missing, as if he can't read the RTC. The file creation time setting is correct.

    any suggestions?

  • Application Deployment - pkgdbcache.xml has wrong info

I have a large application with 12 brothers and sisters.  The alx file named .cod combined single file.

But after that the /index charger running the pkgdbcache.xml file also bears the names wrong!

    Modules: MobilePharmacy.cod, MobilePharmacy - 1.cod... MobilePharmacy - 12.cod.

When I look in pkgdbcache.xml - the main file is named: MobilePharmacy - 1.cod, then there brothers and sisters named

    MobilePharmacy-1 - 1.cod, etc. MobilePharmacy-1 - 2.cod.

    BES version: 4.1.7.17

Combined COD (those with the brothers and sisters contained) files are good.

Development tools will create COD files for both the deployment of the BES (with contained siblings and an ALX) and a web site (with the brothers and sisters extracted and a JAD). The tools are * not * create an ALX that refers to brother COD files.

If you have only one version of an application with brother COD files I would recommend going back to the developers and asking the right pair.

With the BlackBerry Java plug-in for Eclipse, the version of the software of BES/Office of enforcement will be placed in the 'Standard' directory in the directory \deliverables of the application.

  • Application deployment on the device

    Hello everyone,

I'm new in the development of BlackBerry and I have a problem...

I program with the plugin for eclipse.

When I try my application on the Simulator, everything is ok.

But when I deploy him on the BlackBerry Bold 9700, I got the following error message:

Error at startup MyApp: Module 'MyApp' attempts to access a secure API.

I learned that this message can appear when the version is different. I work with version 5.0.0 and BlackBerry version is V5.0.0.656, so no problem for this point.

It may also appear if the application is not signed... and actually I think that this is the case.

    But how to sign?

It is possible to try the application on my device without sign? It's just for my personal use...

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes, exactly. You buy the key signature.

It will cost $ 20. Once in your life

Afterwards, you can create applications you want with this key signed.

Be careful, you need to work on the same computer (where there are the key)

I did a month after having the same problem as you

    Some possible questions:

-Your COD file is an aggregate - that is, she has several embedded in COD. and rename the extension ZIP, unpack and deploy individual COD files.

-You have a mismatch between the level of the compiler version and the BONES of the device target.
