Out of sync - Lightroom and Bridge

I have about 550 images I shot in Raw of Canon. I launched Adobe Bridge so that I could do some universal/global changes to all images (camera profile, Balance White, contrast, brightness, clarity, etc.) in Camera Raw. After I made the changes, I launched Lightroom so that I could change the images individually. I would have the opportunity that he had to go back and forth between Lightroom and Bridge, when I don't want to make broader changes to multiple images.

What I am now finding, is that the images are not synchronized between the two applications. I'll change several images in Bridge (Camera Raw) and then return to Lightroom, and the changes are not reflected. In Lightroom, I chose "Synchronize the folder" and it goes through the motions, but the images don't synchronize. When I go to open each image in Photoshop Lightroom & Bridge, I have still two separate images, completely different. If I open the image from the Finder, I get the Bridge version, which is the last version that I modified.

Before an explanation to have LR and Bridge/ACR see each and other modifications, please note that overall things, you say that you do in the ACR/bridge can be done just as easily in LR and maybe easier, using synchronization... button or settings of copy/paste and you will save yourself a lot of grief and need to be careful if forget you Bridge/ACR for massive things as much as possible as long as you use LR with the same images.

OK now to figure out how to bridge and ACR see each and other changes:

Bridge stores the changes in an XMP sidecar, while LR stores internally and to synchronize is not always as easy as you would expect; However, if read you and write XMP from LR files manually, then you can make it work.

First of all, make sure that your default settings for a toning and everything are identical between ACR and LR otherwise LR and ACR will use their default values for things that are not specified in the XMP files and you may have differences.

If you do things in Bridge/ACR as a first step, it must generate XMP files that have the same name base as RAW format, but with an XMP extension. When you import files in LR and then he will use what he sees in the XMP sidecar files to its initial settings, but then he internalizes them and what you must do something to save the changes back to the XMP files if you want to change in the bridge, once again.

If your first step is to import the files into LR for sorting bridge know nothing about changes you make also unless you create the XMP files for the images that you have changed.

You can either have LR automatically write changes into XMP files (a preference defines this) or you can do this manually by library / (select all) / metadata / write the changes to the files (note the S on the files if multiple files are selected which they aren't if you develop) and it's safer, anyway where LR has not caught automatically writes things for the XMP files if you did mass changes in LR.

Once all LR changes are in the XMP files, then Bridge/ACR will see them.

Once you are done with the Bridge/ACR, you have to do something to tell LR there is changes, to look for in the XMP files, given its prime location of changes in its internal database. You can use a library / (select all) / metadata / change of playback of files to replace the LR settings with all that is in the XMP file.

You must be careful with this and not clear changes in writing when you should be reading or reading when you need to write. To solve this situation you are in, now, you have to renounce your changes in LR or bridge saying LR metadata editor to read files (replaces LR changes) or write metadata to the files (replaces bridge changes).

In my view, that the synchronization can be used if the date in the XMP file is newer that what LR has internally, but I don't know if this still works and that someone else will have to give the definitive answer on synchronize. I gave up using Bridge/ACR with LR long ago and just do all my mass edits in LR and just use ACR conversion in Photoshop when I use edit in Photoshop from LR.

There are other things to know: LR write metadata to the files from the context menu of a library folder. This is a shortcut for the production of the initial set of XMP files, but it doesn't do this for images where something changed in fact given that the file has been imported, or since the last update the XMP from LR, so you may need this thing by selecting all files and making a parent up and down something in the control panel rapid development - something like the clarity or Saturation that is not likely to be maxed out in any files you are tweaking the settings of just to make the "most recent" changes than last time.

To open images in Lightroom, you need to start Lightroom and then use the import function. Double click an image not open in Lightroom. Camera raw is a plug-in for Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, and After Effects. It will not work with just the bridge. If you have installed the bridge you will also need to install Photoshop which is also part of the creative package. Then you can use Bridge to access your raw files, then open them in camera raw. The way you have to put things in place now with Lightroom and Bridge, you can open your raw files by starting Lightroom and using the import function. Lightroom is not affected by plug in Camera Raw.

The sound is fine as long as I don't nothing plug into the headphone jack. After I use headphones, whatever, the audio starts to go out of sync from the video. The video seems trolling of the audio in a few seconds. The current patch I do is simply close the program with, either Chrome or a video player, then start it again. What tends to solve the problem sometimes, until it happens again. Built-in speakers have no question unless the helmet ruin the audio, then they begin to show the same effect. Also when the headphones are plugged and I put a video break and maybe go to another page for a bit and then come back to video, she became silent and the mixer Volume shows a Chrome icon doesn't produce any noise. When I restart Chrome, Chrome icon remains quietly on the volume mixer or it goes away and a new active icon in Chrome has taken its place. Y at - it sort of audio problem here which is known with this computer and is there a real fix?

Distorted image when using Lightroom and Bridge

Any of you have seen something like that?
Happens with the images in CC Bridge and Lightroom CC.
As you can see, the preview is fine, but the image via the mode of development is not. It opens very well with Photoshop. Our IT guys have installed and reinstalled and it still does the same thing.

Premiere Pro CC 2015 video / Audio won't play - Out-of-Sync Audio and video clock errors

After the installation of Premiere Pro CC 2015 I am unable to actually play my video in the timeline.
I must point out that the same video and audio files accurate work perfectly in my previous version of CC 2014.
Usually when I hit the play button nothing will happen and then after a time it will stutter back and fourth between a small loop (no audio present) and give an error that says "clock Audio and video out-of-sync (instead of time) in"Adobe Player.
I tried full uninstall and reinstall Premiere Pro CC software 2015 without success. I also tried to delete all the preferences of Premiere Pro to my settings user without success. I should also mention that after effects CC 2015 is oddly also often send me errors do not have enough executives, so I'm not sure if they are related. Once more, the CC 2014 version works perfectly.
For reference the video file is a .avi with Xvid compression and sound is a .wav. These have always been used exactly the same with CC in 2014 without problem.

I also ran a full virus and malware scan just in case for some strange reason, that was at fault, and I ran into zero issues. Media Encoder, Photoshop, and Illustrator CC 2015 that all seem to work great.
I am quite technically savvy and this one left me speechless, that really stinks that I was looking forward to the potential improvements to speed updates. That's life.

Thank you. In 2015, CC, you can click on the settings... button in the Audio hardware preferences. Then in the record of the OS dialog box tab, you can disable manually (for example, right-click and choose the appropriate option) the SPDIF input. Lightroom and Bridge

If I move pictures to a different folder or create new folders in Lightroom, I understand that Lightroom uses the photos in Lightroom. The original photos have not been moved and they still reside in the folder that they were originally put in when they have been imported into your PC. I'm clear on this process.
Now the problem is that when I discovered my hierarchy in Bridge, one of these folders or photo that have been made in Lightroom movements do not exist. Is - it there anyway to 'marry' movements of Lightroom previously made in Lightroom with bridge?

If you move folders or images from a folder in Lightroom, they are placed on the disc and they will appear this way in the bridge.

You must think of moving/creating collections and/or moving images, from the collection to the collection.

Red in my pictures turn orange in PS CS3, Lightroom, and Bridge

Hello everyone, I have an another question that has to with my previous post 2 days ago...
For some reason, all my images that contain the color red turn orange when they are opened in Lightroom 1.4, Photoshop CS3 10.1 or bridge 2xxx.

But my images with red look red on my desktop, it's just when I open them in the three products listed above - they turn orange.

Any image that I shot also loses its red color in the view Finder on my MacPro OSX 10.5.8.

The images are red on the screen of the camera after I shoot them, but when they arrive in my Adobe products or view Finder on my MacPro, the reds turn to orange.

I shoot with the Digital Canon DSLR and I am a professional photographer.

I don't know what to do, I have work that needs to go to the customers, but I don't think that these orange reds will go well.

Anyone has any ideas on what's going on?

If your colors are going to be that bad, the color produced by the calibration profile is bad.

Check with GretagMacBeth - they may have updated software, or may need to fix a bug in the calibrator.

Issues with running Photoshop CS6 and bridge with Lightroom 4 also on the same PC

I was running Photoshop and Bridge, then bought Lightroom 4. Front of installingt 4, I had no problem with the bridge, but since the installation of 4 all of the photo that are held in bridge are gone, but they are in Lightroom. With Lightroom, you are able to edit photos in Lightroom and Photoshop, if necessary, save and close and it automatically changed the image of Lightroom.
I have two PCs, a top bridge (this one) and the other without, but both have the two edition installed prgrams. On the other PC I can switch between Lightroom and Photoshop without any problems, but when I try to move on with this PC, one with Bridge installed, it will open up Photoshop, but the photo does not transfer. If I close Photoshop program and return to Lightroom, it will tell me that photography could be transferred to Photoshop, because it would not launch. If I close this message window, it will launch then Photoshop and the transfer of photo on which allows me to edit and save as usual.
My question is; Anyone know if Lightroom and Bridge should run side by side, or do I delete the bridge of this PC and see what happens. Bridge is just a holder and organizer of photos, wherease Lightroom did the same thing, but also has post editing capabilities. Both programs seem redundant, but if your Photoshop running, it is difficult to get files from Lightroom. It seems that you must open Lightroom first, then you can view and chose a picture to work, then back and forth between the two programs. This seems to be redundant bridge.

I've just updated on creative cloud - Photoshop, Lightroom, and Bridge to their latest versions and I now cannot open Lightroom as a pop-up window indicates that it is permission issues on three dossiers. It cannot automatically repair and I have to do it manually.
Why did happen as normally it updates and all sorted?

- Open Finder
- Choose the menu go to, select go to folder
- Type in ~/library and click go
- Open the Application Support folder
- Give full read and write permissions for everyone to the Adobe folder
- Similarly, you have to give all the permissions file to Adobe location: Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe
