Outgoing Caller ID question using CUCM 8.6, MGCP gateway & PRI lines

Hello

We have two ranges DID with our provider: 02825911XX & 02829212XX

02825911XX maps extension 11XX

02829212XX 12XX expansion cards.

We have 2 E1 lines 60 channels.

Current configuration:

CUCM <----MGCP---->Gateway (8.6.2) (2921) <======2 e1="====">carrier / Teleco.

Question:

When calling 11XX we get correct caller id 02825911XX.

But when the 12XX we receive caller ID 02825911XX instead of 02829212XX.

for example: when calling 1206 far end caller id watch 0282591106 instead of 0282921206.

No problem in incoming calls on the two beaches.

The external mask are configured correctly in the domain name.

The debug ISDN q931 shows the correct caller until the gateway ID:

Fixing ccapi inout & ISDN q931 debug. & Gateway config.

Hello Gyanendra,

I checked the configuration debug and gateway.

These debugging come from gateway. The catwalk shows TX - Setup. Once we have sent installation information to the telephone company, I don't think that we can change the ID calls information. This means that we send correct calling Telco part number information (0282921206).

May be that Telco is changing the number on their own party? Have you checked with Telco yet? If not, ask them what is the number of parties calling they get. You can do a live test and track same call with the telephone company engineer.

The details of trace log:

  • External calls to CTS-3000 using CUCM

    Hello

I'm trying to configure the scenario below, and I just want to know if it is supported

We have a system of telepresence CTS-3000 registered to a CUCM dedicated just for telepresence units. We have ICT trunk between telepresence CUCM and CUCM have registered phones who works for inter-classes calls.

When I ring a number external unity of the CTS, the call gets initiated and falls straight lines. I registered an IP phone to telepresence CUCM and I can make outgoing calls.

On newspapers of the CTS, I see a "call ended due to the distance point of endpoint resource unavailable ' error.

    Thanks in advance

If you try to call from your CTS, through ICT devices on CUCM telephony?  What are the endpoints you are trying to call?

CTS endpoints use telepresence Interoperability Protocol (TIP) for call control.  Only endpoints speak advanced the CTS models are CTM bridge.  Video normal Cisco phones do not TIP (including 9971, 7985, CUVC, etc.).  Audio only phones also do not speak the TIP.  Basically, the CTS rooms can only call each other without a MCU such as Community trade marks or the server of telepresence from Tandberg/Codian.

  • Outgoing calls are limited by a FDN

    All,

Since today morning I am not able to make calls outgoing/incoming calls receive. It gives a message "outgoing calls are limited by the FDN. I checked under the call settings, it displays the NDR is disabled... I don't know wht happened... any help on this...

    Knani.

Can you tell me who this phone was purchased? Operators in India have begun using the GSM database for security reasons. Your phone does not work with most networks in India because

    1. your IMEI number is not a commercial IMEI (this means that the phone was not purchased from TMO)

    OR

    2. your phone has been reported, lost, stolen or defective

If you think that your phone has an IMEI commercial and/or has not been reported stolen, lost or defective, you can try your luck with your provider network in India to see if they can get your IMEI added to the database of GSM.

Vodaphone, it appears is currently not using the basic GSM data to check the IMEI and it will be just a matter of time before you do that because that would be charged by the Government for security reasons. Hope that answers your question.

BTW, the error message on FDN that you see is a bug with the mapping of the error incorrect. The real reason is, your phone is denied registration with the network because the IMEI number is not authentication.

  • [SPA112] No sound when the outgoing call

I installed my new SPA112 with an EdgeRouter.

SIP - LG is known for having questions about so many routers, which one of the Uniquity. In addition, you should not combine STUN on SPA112 with SIP - ALG on router. Please turn off ALG SIP on the router. If it does not solve your problem, then ask provider upstream assistance. We need SIP & RTP packets captured on the side of the trunk. A note unrelated to your problem. It seems that you SIP-> settings-> value 0.030 RTP toRTP packet size . It's a suboptimal value for your upstream provider (in fact it is bad everywhere in Europe). Your provider uses 0.020 (according to the settings specified in the INVITATION). Consider the same value. It can increase the sound quality (for the end-user of the other).

    Hey pemba.

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

    Thanks for the question.

I would first check to see if you are using the latest version of the software of your network service provider.  Go to www.blackberry.com/update or open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  If the software is up to date, I would check with your provider network for more investigations.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    See you soon.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Z10: outgoing calls

Bought a Z10 and it rained until recently.

Outgoing calls stopped working episodic. That is, the phone starts to make a call, the inscription on the 'Call Waiting', then 'E' ('H' icon) turns into 'e' icon for a second and the message on the screen "call ended". Can I mistaken with the translation (I see messages on my tongue).

the same time, everything works fine. I can receive calls (!), write text messages or use e-mail.

Phone starts to function normally after some time

My Z10 is very cool, but when it does not perform its main function...

It may or may not be bound even if entrants are OK

You can try this to see if it helps: when powered on hold the button works for 10 seconds, this resets the phone.

To see if it is carrier or a tower of transfer issue try this: settings, connections network, Mobile network, network selection Mode, manual change, if the Scan does not start automatically, press Scan.

When the Scan is complete, choose your network, if any other enumerated arer do not choose their that will not work.

  • SPA112: no possible outgoing call after incoming call

I've recently set up a SPA112 with a SIP account and a connected analog telephone. The SPA is a Netgear FVS318G-router firewall enabled SIP - ALG. Everything works fine - I can make outgoing calls and I can receive incoming calls - with the exception of the following:

Shortly after the end of an incoming call (phone hang up) it is not possible to make an outgoing call. The tone is there, but after dialing, nothing happens. The called party has reported having noticed the incoming call, but no voice cannot be heard.

A few minutes later it works again.

It does not happen after outgoing calls.

Seems there is a synchronization problem, but I was not able to determine which parameter is bound to.

It seems that audio stream does not pass through the firewall.

To check settings and firewall logs. You can enable syslog & debug on SPA112 and also well catch them - it can help you analyze the question.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

You probably have a policy in place.

Go to your the PARAMETERS of SECURITY/OPTIONS/GENERAL scroll down and see if there is a red lock

  • SOLVED blackBerry smartphones - cannot make outgoing calls. Get two beeps like busy tone with the Koodo Mobile in Thunder Bay, Ontario North

This has caused me a lot of frustration.

With my curve when I try to make an outgoing call and I get a busy signal as two beeps repeating themselves.

I tried everything and the only thing that worked was a security wipe, so losing all my data.

If I made a backup and restore, the problem comes back. If I restored it selectively through desktop BLackberry, database of the database, the problem returns. Koodo Mobile and Blackberry escalated support was not able to understand this.

However, through much trial and error, I found that if I limit my identity or turn off the option to show my number in the phone settings, for some reason any he caused this problem.

So I can't block my identity by using the settings on the phone.

This can be the result of my location service and the carrier, which is Koodo mobile, in Thunder Bay in Northwestern Ontario that used the TBAYTEL towers for the service, the type of signals technology service. I don't know, and no one was able to tell me why this is happening. I went to 6 months not being able to make outgoing calls without losing ALL my sms, contacts, BBM, TXTs, bookmarks and other personal data. Only a security wipe would allow me to make a call - until I have activate the restrict my identity and activated the show my number option.

SO - I hope this helps other users. I've been through three phones, thinking that it was the material problems.

It's a kind of crappeh because I would not block my identity with a few calls. So with the curve BB on Koodo to Thunder Bay, I can't do that. I have not tried outside the Northwestern ONtario, but it will probably be the same, unless I am out of service TBAYTEL area.

Such is life. Live with it.

    Difficulty easy but unsatisfactory.

I ' lll this post in the Forum of Koodo so when one exists.

    See you soon!

I did these steps including restore each database one at a time with the same results. I can do a full restore and the remains of the issue until I set restrict my identity forever AND Show My Number Yes. I also did all of these steps with the any other BB Curve 8530 and it seems to happen every ih in this area.

I found the work around but it would be good to know why and if this happens outside the TBAYTEL towers that Koodo Mobile uses throughout Northern Ontario to the Ontario-Manitoba border in the West, to the North of Hearst and East of Sault Ste. Marie.

If there are a Koodo Mobile, users who have a BlackBerry Curve 8530, I'd like to hear you just what I see if it is unique to the service provider, hardware, software and network type, geographical location, etc.

Any comment is appreciated, as support Koodo and BlackBerry have been baffled and couldn't solve this problem and I hope that others find it so that they can save months of time and frustration, I have lived.

    See you soon...

  • block incoming and outgoing calls for some phones

    Dear all

I have some phones like the kitchen, to block incoming and outgoing calls to the phones of these kitchen and I want these phones to call only internally. I have E1 gateway H323. How the configuration it will be CSS and Partition?

    Thanks and greetings

Ideally, you need to two CSSs for this - a CSS gateway and a device of CSS. Type the extension of the kitchen a new partition. Add this new partition to the CSS but not the CSS bridge. In this way the incoming calls are blocked.

For outgoing calls, you will need to another partition and CSS. The partition must contain the model 9. ! (or whatever your outdoor access code) and should block it. It may be the translation or boss of the road according to the design of your CUCM numbering plan. This model will be assigned to a new CSS called Block_All (or something), and this must be attributed to the level of the line.
