Outlook 2010 email

I'm a Mac user, by nature, but I had to switch to Windows because of the disability. I type this right now using Dragon NaturallySpeaking because I can use is no longer my left arm, so I had a lot to get used to, I'm still working on it. My Macintosh is dying slowly so that makes the proper process, but I have questions. My email works sporadically on the Mac and pretty much on the Dell but sometimes e-mails come in on the Mac and they do not come on the Dell. Both are formatted to the same e-mail address then why some emails would not come on the Dell? I'm having a lot of trouble with Outlook, but it's the one I use because of capabilities of Dragon I think it is a terribly heavy program and I do not use most of the features. I only use email, but email is required, that it is part of my career. I'm a writer, I'm learning Outlook 2010, but I don't know a lot of things so I'll ask you guys such things as what is email not come sometimes? I know how to block a sender thank God because I get a lot of spam but but I don't know how do to put someone on a safe list is easy to do? I forgot something? All my Mac if you were not in my address book you went straight in the Junk folder that I found serious and I was always having to rummage through the junk e-mail folder for possible acceptable e-mail on the Mac so I don't want to make a rule like that on the Dell.I want to put some people on a list of contacts that I know I get emails from them. How do I do that? So that's 2 questions the two subject email why some email do not come in on the Windows machine and how do I create a list of users without danger. Thanks for any help as usual, my dropbox problem solved itself by some miracle, but I'm happy for all the help you have given me on this thank you

Questions about MS Outlook must be validated in the Office\Outlook user groups

If you e-mail account is configured as a pop e-mail account, the default settings are to download all the messages on the local PC. So if the same account is configured on both devices, with the same parameters of account, mail will be downloaded to the first device that opens.

In the section of your e-mail program accounts, you can change the settings to 'keep a copy on the server' and in this case mail is received on both devices.

However, mail sent will only appear on the device, he sent.

Your mail on both devices will not be synchronized between the two devices.

If the e-mail account is configured as an IMAP account which is a copy of what is on the mail server, and so you can see the same on all devices.

  • The Outbox email stuck in Outlook 2010 with 80 MB of video. Cannot remove.

I have an email with a 80 MB video file that is stuck in my Outbox of MS Outlook 2010.  I tried going to 'Work offline' to delete, but will not remove.  I tried to restart Outlook while 'offline' and Outlook itself does not open when I click the icon in my taskbar, and I can't find the program ranked among the '' programs. ''  I searched with the windows tool to search for the file and I can find it on a search list, but it has no path of file so that I can see exactly where it is.  If I left click on the icon that appears in the search, he takes me to the email in Outlook.  If I right click to get a window with options like delete, there is no popup window.

In short, I can't delete this item in Outlook and I can't find a way outside of Outlook to locate and delete.  Outlook keeps trying to send the file everytime I open the program and I keep telling myself that he can't touch the file because it is 'send.'  Now you can guess where I would like to send the file.

God only knows how it happened, but after I posted this problem I went back to work and program Outlook that would not open when "working offline," well, guess what... Well Yes, he opened.  Of course, there was the email incriminated in the Outbox.  I right click and delete the guy.  GONE!  For some reason, it was a required period after I left Outlook and before she would reopen.  What he did during this time, I don't know.  Perhaps he felt that I was tempted to uninstall - a primitive form of artificial intelligence to Microsoft.  In any case, the problem is solved in this way:

Click the send/receive tab at the top of the screen in Outlook 2010

    Click "work offline".

Watch this summons to appear at the bottom of the screen-"work offline".

    Close Outlook

Get a slow Cup of coffee for 30 minutes.

    Reopen Outlook.

    Go to the Outbox

Right click on the stuck email.

    Say a little prayer.

Delete it using the context menu.

  • Adobe PDF blocks Outlook 2010 when the combination of more than 200 emails.

I have a user who was combining emails in Outlook 2010 in specific files that maintain more than 200 e-mails and when you do a right click on the folder and click on "convert 'file' to Adobe PDF" begins to handset until after about 200 emails when completely, it crashes and closes. In Event Viewer, it is a Kernel error in Outlook.EXE.

    I tried measures

-Repair Acrobat via Add Remove programs and through the application itself

    -Check the updates,

    -Uninstall Adobe Reader

-Disabling Outlook Add-In and also 3rd party PDF Outlook

    -Repair of Microsoft Office

    -Clear temporary files

The user uses Acrobat XI, and there was a recent update applied on March 8.

After uninstalling and reinstalling it, I have successfully combined a great Outlook folder containing 592 points. Right now, this is considered resolved.

iTunes won't sync contacts outlook 2010 because microsoft add Skype. iTunes syncs only Skype contacts. I don't use Skype don't have contacts in the Skype contacts folder. Cannot add contacts. Don't care about Skype. I want Apple to fix this synchronization with Outlook.

MOVE SEVERAL OUTLOOK 2010 CONTACTS FOR iPHONE

Step 1: In Outlook, create the vcf files (Variant call Format), which are text files also known as the digital business cards and send them to your own e-mail address. To do this, select all the Outlook contacts you want, right-click on it and select 'Front Contact' sharing group, and then select "as a calling card."

Step 2: Outlook will create cards individual vcf for each of your contacts as attachments to an email.  Send plain text (select on the Format Text tab), otherwise the iPhone Notes contacts section will contain unwanted formatting.  Send e-mail and files to your own e-mail address.

Step 3: Create a folder to contain the individual vcf files, for example c:\vcfcards.

Step 4: Open the e-mail you sent to yourself in Outlook and save all the vcf attached files in the c:\vcfcards folder (file, save attachments, OK, select the vcfcards folder, do not enter a file name).

Step 5: Now open the command prompt window (in Windows 10 right click Start, and then select command prompt).

Step 6: At the command prompt, type cd c:\vcfcards.  Press ENTER to continue. Your command prompt is now moved to the vcfcards folder.

Step 7: Now merge the multiple vcf files in the vcfcards file in a single vcf file.
At the command prompt, type: copy /a *.vcf c:\all.vcf and then press ENTER.

Step 8: Create another e-mail and join the newly created file all.vcf.
Send e-mail to your address (if Outlook is set to download files from the server immediately, close Outlook after the email is sent, thereby ensuring that the email will arrive on the cell phone).

Step 9: Get your iPhone and read the e-mail from there.
Open the vcf file you created and attached to the email and press Add all Contacts.

If there are several groups of contacts in Outlook, the process can be repeated for each group.  File names above could be changed to reflect the group names.  However, it will be a group merged on the iPhone.

    Hello

I have a HP Slate 6 voice tab.  I tried to send TEXT messages from Outlook 2010 to my HP Slate 6 voice tab (and to other numbers) without any success...  Is is due to the fact that I don't have the option to select "Sync SMS" in my email account Corp on my Tablet?   All I have is sync Email, Contacts & Calendar - No. SMS.

The Android version on my tablet is: 4.2.2.

    Thanks for your response!

    I work for HP

Hi Questions_HP, welcome to the Forums of HP. I understand that you are unable to receive SMS messages sent by Outlook 2010. It seems that you have to either have an Exchange Server or 3rd Party SMS service involved for this to work. Beyond that, I don't know what requirements must be met to do this, the only information I found on the topic was this document: send and receive text messages (SMS)

    Hello Microsoft...

Transfer of data from Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail:

    For Messages:

Copy the * ENTIRE * OE message store folder to a flash drive. (Folders.dbx must be included). Place it on the desktop or another location on the computer using WLMail. Open WLMail and: file | Import | Messages | Microsoft Outlook Express 6, and the point where it was saved.

    Location of OE message store:

In OE: Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

    For addresses:

Open the address book in OE and file | Export | Address book (wab) and save it to the desktop. Copy it to a flash drive. Place it on the desktop or another location on the computer using WLMail.

Open the Contacts list in WLMail, (go |) Contacts in the Menu bar) and the file | Import | Address book (wab) Windows and the point where you saved it.

Note: If you use a CD or a DVD instead of a flash drive, after placing on the new machine you must remove the read-only attribute in the properties before you import.

    For the account settings:

In OE: Tools | Accounts, select the account and export it to the desktop. This will be an .iaf file. Copy it to the new computer and WLMail desktop: tools | Accounts and import the settings from the location you saved the.
