  I can't get windows updates keep giving me. I think I'm up to about 55 so far.   It is a very old application.  Although Win7 worked well for many more apps for my part, some are just not compatible.  I suggest you visit the developers forum and see if anyone else has found a work a round or consider purchasing the latest version.

  I suggest that you try to use the Microsoft Installer Cleanup utility. Click here to download it.

  You can use the utility to remove installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer. Remember that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility does not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall on.

  Now, try again to install the programs that did not exist.

  Start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists, if the question does not persist then perform the clean boot and check if the problem resolves.
