MSN Music DRM (license music)

How can I get the license to play music, a long time ago I bought from MSN?  I have new computers and they will not play the music I have on them!  All of the content that I am referring to belong to me.

I believe that he will explain what the problem is with MSN Music.  The article was written in August 2008 and if you had not yet yielded music August 31, 2008, the DRM license is missing.

  • Files WMA with Vista for businesses will play is no longer: it's etiquette of drm license yet?

    Hello

I use Vista for businesses successfully now for nearly 8 years.  I enjoyed tons of WMA files of the CD on this machine in Windows Media Player. Now, many of them will not play and I get the http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/ with Chrome page.  He wants me to install the license with the latest version of Internet Explorer, but I use Chrome, because it is faster and has superior spell.

Any help would be grateful.  I did see a link on going to msconfig in the start menu and turning off UAC, I did, but alas, to no avail.

    Thank you very much.

    John

Microsoft does not, you, or anyone using your computer protection against copying, it is not enabled by default.  Maybe someone has used your computer and activated this option.  But there is no way to cancel the security after you encrypted your music (if there was, there was not any point to safety in the first place).

So the option is to disable the option, and then rip your music again so that it is not protected against copying at all.

  • Get error 3313 when trying to ask the customer the drm license

    Hello

When I try to get the license from the license server for Flash access, event DRMEvent.DRM_STATE_CHANGE gives me an error with the id of the error 3313. The side server returns the license successfully, it seems that the clent has some difficulties to manage the license. By checking the runtime error document, 3313 refes to "write in the file system failed." Does this mean that customer has problem with the registration of the license locally? How can I solve this problem?

This issue 3313 is caused by using old f4fpackager and have a long license code. New update package manager might solve this problem.

I stuck around 85 strange songs on it and I came to some stick more information tonight, but the entire contents of the folder music are not displayed on my PC (Windows XP SP3, they're here as when I turn it on it plays them again.)  I tried to install the update thing but I get a pop up message saying windows 'Windows - No Disk' then 'Message c0000013 parameters 75b6bf7c 4 75b6bf7c 75b6bf7 Exception processing' and buttons "Cancel, try again, continue»

Is it a question of MTP/MSC mode?

When the drive is connected to your computer using the USB MSC (the value of the player in settings/USB mode), your computer only sees the files that had been moved to the drive when the drive is connected in MSC mode.  Similarly with regard to the MTP mode.  However, all the files appear and can be played on your player, under some USB mode setting.

A reason why some people prefer to set the USB Mode on their player to MSC or MTP: setting Auto, the Player tries to connect in MTP mode but then you will return in MSC mode if the connection of the MTP does not; as a result, you can have a mixture of MSC and MTP mode transferred the files to your drive, making some of them isn't visible on your computer without going to the other USB mode.

Because MSC mode is more universal (playing with a wide range of operating systems, including Linux and on Mac, and without the need for Windows Media Player on the computer), some people prefer MSC mode.  However, note that the DRM (digital rights management) files need MTP mode - they will not transfer enough (the DRM license will not transfer) in MSC mode.

  • How to restore licenses Playready DRM for TV recorded after a hardware upgrade?

See the thread that I started:
    http://www.thegreenbutton.TV/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1109

At the end of this thread for my question about what breaks the Playready DRM, I stated here:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/891664

If there is an updated version of this KB article applicable to Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 12, then a pointer to such an article would probably prevent the need to respond to everything that follows.  For now, I guess there is no update instructions for restoring licenses.

In time, I was reassured by Microsoft KB article that I could upgrade my HTPC hardware without losing the ability to play shows I had already recorded.

I don't think much more on this subject until recently, when I decided that the time had come to make an upgrade.  So I went back to the article to see exactly what I had to do in preparation for the upgrade.  The first thing he says for me to do is to back up my licenses.  However, I am running Windows Media Player version 12 (which is what came with my Windows7 Home Premium), and it doesn't seem to provide a mechanism to back up the licenses.  This means that no such possibility of license-recovery-after-upgrade is available for me?   Or are there other mechanisms to back up my licenses?

Even if there is another way to back up the licenses, I see that restore them after the upgrade still requires a feature that my version of Windows Media Player does not.  Then I also need access to an alternative mechanism of restoration.  Is this one?

Looking around Windows Media Center, I can't find anything about the license management here either.

Considering the article like a Kipper full in Windows 7, my ultimate real question is that in the header for this post.

TV record types we are talking about here have copy - once protection and are recording using Windows Media Center has a CableCARD tuner.  I have a lot of them that I am not prepared to remove spied.

    Hi DavidVanserschel,

You may be able to manually reset DRM licenses. Take a look at the steps in this thread.

I have updraded my system under Windows 7 Pro 16 GB memory. Now, no obstructed DRM content will run without an error message empty of meaning. Decommissioning of 8 GB restore all functions concerning the management of DRM. How to work around this problem (restore the rights with the new memory)?

The error indicates that my system date is set on XXXX which may be incorrect. This is posted within Windoows Media Center when you try to view the streams Netflix and Netflix web pages when viewed through a browser. WMC will not play protected either recorded TV shows (his convinced the computer in not the one that recorded the show). The error message is attributed to a problem with Silverlight (called the Netflix forum), but Silverlight is up-to-date.

Remove the extra 8 GB of ram returns the system to normal. Conclusion - a change to 8 GB in size of invalid memory the DRM license on the computer. I need to force licensing DRM to refresh and update my system while maintaining rights '' I already have.

    Hi Ryan,

You can try to reset the DRM licenses and check if the problem persists.

Important: The ResetDRM tool removes all existing Windows Media DRM licenses and licenses of Zune DRM on your current installation of Windows 7. Reset DRM tool should only be used if all Zune DRM and Windows Media DRM content playback does not work. After the following process is finished, you must license the DRM from your Windows 7 computer.

Download the ResetDRM tool and save it to your desktop. To download this file, visit the following Web site:

    http://go.Microsoft.com/fwlink?LinkId=105000

    a. right-click ResetDRM.exe and then click Run as administrator to reset the Windows Media DRM.

    b. read the multimedia file ripped in Windows Media Player 12 for re - test Windows Media DRM.

  • Songs are missing after the firmware update

    Hello

I've updated my Sansa Clip 8 GB mothers today via Autoupdater. Everything works fine, except that the root folder is different now and music disappeared somehow. Well, the music is still there (it's GiB 4.2 of 8 complete), you can even hear it. He just disappeared under windows (XP, Vista, and 7). How can I 'save' music?

    Greetings

If you reset your USB mode under settings back to what it was set to before, the music must be visible again. When you update the firmware, USB mode gets reset auto.

  • Showing files is no longer under Windows since firmware Upgrade a.35

    Hello

I have upgraded from 2.01.32 to 2.01.35 and even if I see my music files in the drive, when I connect to windows he sees space is taken, but see as hidden files. Anyone know how to view or access?

    Help!

Info. on the USB MTP and MSC modes:

    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/USB_mass-storage_device_class

    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Media_Transfer_Protocol

You can also do a search here, using the search box at top left.

Basically, the MSC and MTP modes are 2 ways your Clip can connect to your computer for the same purpose: transferring files (and to see what is stored on your Clip).  MSC mode is the older (and often less problematic) mode, in which your Clip is seen as an external drive such as a USB key.  MTP mode is more recent and requires a driver found in Windows Media Player 10 and above (this is why you need WMP on your computer if you use MTP mode).

Works in mode, and you can use the one that you like.  But note that if your drive is connected to your computer in MSC USB mode, your computer sees only the files that had been moved to the drive when the drive is connected in MSC mode.

  • Problem with my Sansa plu and the switching of computers?

I have a Sandisk Sansa clip plus 8 GB. Recently, I switched from windows to Ubuntu, and even if the player is filled with music, the (MSC mode) folder is empty on the computer! I guess that's because I used windows/windows media player and MTP mode. When I transfer new music, it normally appears on the player and the computer. But the old music normally played on the player - seems to have gone on the computer.what can do about it?

    Thank you

I guess that's the issue of the MSC/MTP mode:

If you currently have a mixture of music MTP and MSC mode on your Clip, you can: put the Clip fashionable want to 'delete' your reader. to connect to your computer; Copy your music on your computer and delete the originals of your Clip. Unplug your Clip to the computer; Set the USB mode to your Clip to the other mode, that you want to use in the future. Reconnect your Clip to the computer; Re - transfer your music from your computer to the Clip; and disconnect.  And now, to keep the Clip value mode USB mode (it can set after an update firmware - always doublecheck it after an upgrade).  Voila!

  • Strange files display in Windows XP

Hi all... I tried searching the forums for this issue, but I couldn't find anything. I have a Sansa View 8 GB. When I plug it via USB to my laptop which runs Windows Vista, all the files is displayed correctly. However, when I connect it to another computer running Windows XP (SP2), it displays a different set of records. For example, in the 'Music' folder, any files that are actually on the Sansa appear. Instead, there are folders that appear to be pre-loaded music factory, if I remember. I deleted these files in the early days, but when it is connected to a Windows XP computer, it's as if they are still there... at least the files are; None of the actual mp3 files are located in the folders. But none of my music files to display, and when I add files in the 'Music' folder when you are connected to the Windows XP computer, they do not appear when I then connect it to the laptop Windows Vista. Anyone has any idea of what could be the cause and how to fix it? I wish I could use my Sansa on two of my computers, if possible. Or at least to work properly on the Windows XP computer and use it on this computer only if necessary.

Everyone knows about this strange phenomenon? If so, how to solve it? Thank you!

Sounds like a problem of PSG vs SMC for me. If you have the USB mode from your point of view the 'Auto-detect' value, it could connect in a mode on a PC and the other on the other PC (automatic detection by default of the PSG when possible). Files transferred in a mode are not visible on your PC when you are connected to the other mode. It's normal. Strange, but normal. It is one of the oddities PSG vs SMC shortly.

MTP mode is pretty much Windows only (and the drivers are part of Windows Media Player 10 +, and if you don't have WMP 10 + installed on both computers, which would explain why your drive is switching modes), while the MSC is a generic mode compatible with (I think) all operating systems. If you still have all your music on your PC as well as the view, you must reformat the drive, consider assigning MSC and reload all your music. MTP mode is only necessary if you have DRM files, like the DRM licenses transfer in MSC mode.

  • The Sansa Fuze is similar to the Sansa e280R?

    This is a broad question.

There are two versions of the e200 series.

The e200 and then the e200R or Rhapsody.

Remember how the e200R series had an interface more clean, which will do the same for the "rocket"?

Haven't bought a rocket, I want to buy something.

Is another question, with Rhapsody To Go, or what I need to add it myself?  Also, if I add Rhapsody to the "rocket", it will give the "rocket" this cleaner interface?

When I say interface more, the version of Rhapsody had smoother transitions between menus and the text was smoother and much more readable.

    Thanks in advance!

The Rhapsody from Sansa (e200R) has some nice features, like the 'balloon' police while rolling through the menus.  The device later, the e200v2, was also the improvement of the police.

The aircraft later, the e200v2, became the Sansa Fuze shortly after.

The latest Sansas, including the e200v2, the "rocket", the music video and the new Clip + are compatible, all the RhapPFS, which means that the Rhapsody feature improvements are incorporated into these devices.  Rhapsody channels appear in the main menu once the device is allowed to use the Rhapsody service.

You also have several options, like adding channels has Rhapsody music track to the library of your device and a procurement function which signals an individual track for purchase later, when the Sansa is signed up to the service.

The Sansa Rhapsody used format RAX of RealNetworks, a unique DRM (license based on the device) system, while the new devices use 160 kbps WMA for tracks.
