Lost the spellchecker in Outlook Express
I lost mt spel checker in my outlook express, how do I get it back
OE 6 doesn't come with it's own spellcheck. You need to Word or MS Office program, before 2007. The spell checker in Works 4 to 6 will work with OE, but not other editions. If you do not have such a program, you can download a free spell check to one of these sites.

I try to activate spell check in Outlook Express 6. However when I go into the Options, it is not a spelling tab. I'm also in Word 2010, and as far as I can see, the spell check is enabled in that.

See if this helps: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932974. I realize it's not exactly what you describe, but in any event, if you install Word 2007 or later, your spellchecker of OE no longer works. Hello
I saw ths years ago and I think the solution is to install an Office language pack. If you do not have Office to do with I would say migration to Windows Live Mail (a component of Windows Live Essentials). It also has a junk e-mail filter.
In addition, there is another method, but use it at your own risk...
http://www.SnapFiles.com/downloads/spelloe/dlspelloe.html
If in case of doubt do a few Google searches first for people who have had side effects.
WRT to the installation of Office solution proposed previously, I think that it should be Office XP (2002), or earlier, but which might be incorrect because certainly Office 2007 is not out when I finally met, maybe even 2003 may not have been released!
