Output module has failed?

All of a sudden in one of my projects, I am unable to make my comps. I get a dialog box that says: "has not made an error when writing in the file... an output module. The file may be damaged or corrupted. "I'm just trying to make on a Quicktime lossless. But it seems that in the output options, there is suddenly no available Quicktime formats.

I tried to reinstall ASP of the discs, but that did not help.

This project was working fine when I stopped him Friday.

Any help or ideas would be MOST APPRECIATED!

Thank you!

Doug MIles

Well, after messing around for a few hours, I can answer my own question...

I deleted and created new output modules, and all of a sudden it works again!

Apparently, there was a video file corrupted in the project that initially screwed up things. I've also trashed which.

  • Several causes of rendered output modules to fail?

Is that someone else's difficulties with the use of several modules output in sequels?  Let me explain: I'm working on a 3d movie, and my workflow is to simply work with the images side by side in a simple model (we are in HD, so the size of the model is 3840 x 1080).  Very often, I need to trigger a quick render to show the Director.  Most of the time, I just make the left eye by cropping in this area of 1920 x 1080 in the output module.  Other times I need to deliver both eyes, so instead of cropping up to 1920 x 1080, I resize the image in the output module 1920 x 1080.  Yes, we lose half of our horizontal resolution, but this isn't a big deal for us when working just on amenities.

Here's the thing: sometimes I want to export several variants of this at once (ie the module output to the left eye), one for the right eye and one for the shrunken left-right-by-side video.  Whenever I try to the release of several modules with quicktime, it fails.  Every time.

When it goes down, I get two messages: the first (a warning) said "after effects WARNING: last image was written to one or several modules, but not all output! (26: 153) »

The second (error) message appears once for each output module: "after effects error: rendering error while writing to the file 'C:\blahh blah blah\whereIputmyfiles\the_render.mov'.» An output module is not.  The file may be damaged or corrupted. (- 1610153464). "Once he goes down, I can't exit in quicktime at ALL (several modules, output or not) without having to restart After Effects.

I tried out several modules as a PNG sequence... and that works great (so "slow as hell" can never be called 'fine' ... but it worked!)

I tried out multiple formats, I tried with an output module by rendering point (rather than having a single item of rendering with several modules) as quicktime, and has very good work (of course... it takes N times longer but... for the N number of outputs).

I'm on Windows 7 64 - bit... short after effects CC 2014... I never had this problem where I was working on the CC version (not cc 2014... version is too complicated...).  However, I have just returned and tried with the older version, and it no longer works there either!  What gives?

With the release of quicktime, I use the h.264 codec.

And before anyone suggests, no I can't just use SOUL because who can not resize the video (it forces you to keep the proportions, through black bands) or crop the video.

What version of AE and OS to the last comma?

Out of Quicktime h.264 is buggy and should not be done. Have you considered using Adobe Media Encoder by dragging your compositions completed in a model of rendering? Even when you use the output Module, it is a better and faster to make the option of resizing of the model in the output module.

Most likely guilty is the Quicktime h.264. Never, it should appear as an option. It does not yet well in Quicktime Pro or Final Cut...

  • QuickTime export error: "an output module has stopped responding."

I feel an odd export error when I use the Quicktime codecs:

"After effects error: an output module is not responding." The file may be damaged or corrupted. You may need to restart After Effects. »

Similarly, Adobe Media Encoder crashes when Quicktime codecs. No program does any progress at all before the blocking does not happen. At this point, I have to manually "end task" to exit. In addition, it seems not to matter of what I'm trying to export. For example, in the SOUL, I can just try to convert one video format to another and do hang, so I don't think that the problem is due to a problem with the settings of the source or the effects. Also, I'm not all multiprocessing since I did not really enough RAM for it. Other work of output modules, so I export only image sequences for now.

    System Specs:

    Windows 7 64 bit

    Intel i7 - 2600 k processor

    8 GB RAM

    GTX 580 GPU

    Software:

    Adobe CS6

AE Plugins include Tracode Suite 12 and optical flares

    QuickTime 7.7.3

Any ideas on that? I have seen very few references to this error in other places and not really found a solution that seems to apply to my situation. Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Bridge CC, manual installation fails for output module.

I manually installed the Adobe Bridge CC output Module.  I followed EVERY STEP in the direction of http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html

After the installation, I get the "i/o error.  I have googled this error, and it seems that many have this same problem, and no one has a solution to solve the problem.  I'm currently a graphic design course online, and this first assignment should take only 1 hour... I am now up to 8 hours trying to solve this and understand this... and I lose my work day.  I'm so frustrated and almost to the point to cancel my subscription to creative cloud AND my class online since I already use problems with trust #1.  I don't have CS3 program, but I don't want to go through this class with a program also exceeded.

Adobe knows if they are working to solve this problem, or if it will be ever fixed?  If they are trying to fix, do they know about how long will it take?  Can you please offer a solution or shine a light on the subject.  I'm working on a computer laptop, MacBook Pro, Mac OS X 10.6.8 version.

    Thank you!

    No, I can't get the older versions.  I pay $999 CS6

This is not true, you should be able to download CS6 free with your subscription to CC:

    In the CC FAQ:

Creative cloud members creative access to previous versions of Cloud applications?

Yes. Creative cloud paid members have access to a set of versions archived Office Automation. CS6 ہ, select versions of each creative applications Office will be archived and available for download. The archived versions are provided "such as what ' and are not updated to work with the latest hardware and software platforms.

Just dig a little deeper into the cloud creative Download Center.

  • Bridge 6.2 broke the output Module

Y at - it a new version of AOM? We get the IO error when you try to create contacts with AOM. Re-setup of the module does not work. However, going back to bridge 6.1 is a workaround.

    Hi guys

Had the same problem over and over again, but it works...

First go to this link under form Adobe, here you will find the Adobe Output Module for the download and installation guide.

How to install Adobe Output Module in bridge of CP.

At the end of the page, you will find an explanation when the I/o error occurs.

But what they fail to mention is that you must also delete the contents of the folder, the workspaces in the USER library. Display the path:

    Mac OS: / User/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC/workspaces

You can see the files like this:

    !! -$$$ AdobeOutputModule.workspace

    !! LastMenu.workspace

Delete them all, bridge will make new after reboot

After this restart Bridge and it will work (at least for me it worked :-)

  • CC bridge output module crashing

    Hello

I recently upgraded the bridge to the latest version and installed the Adobe Output Module according to the information here: https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html

The problem is when I went to restart Bridge and open the program, it bounces once as if he is about to open and has a small dot below and then immediately blocked (stops bouncing, dot gone).

When I delete the folder with all of the Workspaces folder preferences and just leave the file .workspace, Bridge opens, but obviously the output module will be empty and unusable.

I'm on a Mac (10.10.5) with the most recent version of the bridge.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    Hi devonh,

Please reset the Bridge preferences and then try it.

    Measures

Start Adobe Bridge, and immediately press Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS down) until the dialogue box reset settings appears.

Select all three options - reset preferences, reset Standard Workspaces and all miniature Purge Cache - and then click OK.

    Hi Robbie,

There are 2 different libraries. If you use the Option key pressed when you click GO, it takes you to the user's library. The other library requires that you start Macintosh HD in your list of drives. After clicking on Macintosh HD, you choose the library. It is not the same as the user's library. From there, it is Application Support > Adobe > CC bridge Extensions. He has record No. bridge before this record.

    > Unfortunately, the customer just takes me in circles and recommended that I post a message in the forums that I do. >

Unfortunately, I've heard that many times before. You have to be absolutely certain that you are in the library of Macintosh HD and not the user library (that Apple is trying to hide).  If you copy the path of yohanna exactly, including slash, without Option-click on go, you should be in the right place. If she is not there, then I think it's something wrong with your installation.

Is not not Adobe staff, who know far more about me, my next step would be to create the file, being very careful not to copy the name exactly, but that's because I've done this before in different circumstances and I couldn't say that it would be the right move this time. After you create the folder, I would follow the rest of the instructions for the download to install correctly. That's just what I'd like to try, because I don't have a lot of faith in customer service help, either. It works or it doesn't, no harm to your system by train.

  • Adobe Bridge output module

When I installed bridge I couldn t CC build a webgallery because I didn t see the menu "get out" is there any vacuum to the right. I did what I read I should do, download the zip file and install them in the extensions Manager. But it didn t work and I've tried everything they suggested to make. Still didn t work! But I still have Bridge CS5 and here I can do the webgallery or a PDF with pictures. How come he doesn´t work in bridge CC?

Do not forget that Adobe Output Module is officially abandoned. We could add it back on but it's not supported (which means that, if it does not work, Adobe has already washed its hands of this one).

In my own experience, AOM died with 10.10. It doesn't work on my system either.

There are two directions, you can go at this point: put images into Lightroom. The big advantage is it with LR CC (v. 6), they have galleries web html5 (not flashing). The other alternative is to use the 3rd web part galleries, you can try looking for them in Adobe Add ons.

Sorry, I feel your pain because I get bored of AOM as well.

  • Missing output Module template - AE CS5

Recently installed After Effects CS5 - at each start of the program, I get an error message:

"You have at least one model of output module that references a plug-in missing output. Please check your output Module Templates. "Accepting this prompt leads to another:

"Adobe After Effects CS5 would make changes. Please enter your password in the [admin] for this purpose. "What I'm doing, who runs the program at:

'Install the additional file Formats and effects' - which takes up to 6 minutes per start at the end (a pretty debilitating delay for my global workflow). Once the installation is complete, and I try to open a project, he wrote:

"After Effects has installed additional files and effects formats. You want to leave After Effects so that they are available? "But quit and restart AE CS5 only goes at the beginning of this process again.

How can I solve this problem and get out of the infinite loop? Thanks for your suggestions!

Reinstall the program correctly with sufficient user privileges and a serial number to work. This behavior is typical installs is deserialized for a reason any.

  • CC bridge - output modules Installation does not

(This was in a 'answered' response. Try as new question).

    Hello

I have a problem with having the output Module works as well.

According to the instructions I did everything correctly. Install Adobe Output Module

    I:

    1. Copy the folder Adobe Output Module (not the folder AOM_Package_ [OS]) in the bridge CC Extensions folder in the appropriate location:
      • Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Bridge CC Extensions

    2. Copy the file AdobeOutputModule.workspace in the folder of workspaces under the bridge CC Extensions folder.

When I place the bridge workspace file AdobeOutputModule.workspace doesn't stand at all. If the Module is in the same folder as the BridgeCC file, then there is no change in whether or not the bridge works.

In addition, I do not. ['-$$ $AdobeOutputModule.workspace "in the name of \Users\[user] \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge CC\Workspaces folder. All I see are

    1. !! -$$$ Essentials.workspace
    2. !! -$$$ LightTable.workspace
    3. !! -$$$ Navigator.workspace and
    4. !! LastMenu.workspace

    Help please. Other ideas.

    Thank you

    Mario

DEKRA, if you do not see the! -File $$$ AdobeOutputModule.workspace, which means the output module is not properly installed on your machine.

    I suggest you:

    • To check if you have the administrator rights on the computer, if not, log in with the admin account and.
    • Bridge Reset workspace: in Bridge, choose window > Workspace > reset Workspace
    • Download the appropriate package of 32bits or 64bits AOM and be sure dé-compresser or extract. Have seen issues like these, if users do not extract the files.
    • Now copy the folder Adobe Output Module (not the folder AOM_Package_ [OS]) in the bridge CC Extensions folder in the appropriate location:
      • Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Bridge CC Extensions
    • And now to copy the file AdobeOutputModule.workspace in the folder of the workspaces in the bridge CC Extensions folder.
    • Launch bridge and check if you get the message "the extension of the"AdobeOutputModule"bridge has been added to the bridge.
    • Also, make sure that the user has full permissions read/write on the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe.

Let me know how it goes.
