Overheating error but my PC is NOT overheating!

I am trying to install windows xp home edition on my new pc.  It doesn't have a thing about it, so I'm putting it on windows xp.  I can run as long as I want (but why?), all on the windows disk, download until it starts to "DOWNLOAD of DEVICES."  At this point, we get about 2/3 of the way through just stops, crashes, and then restarts.  When it starts the back, the error of overheating rises, but I still inspected inside (be sure it's brand new) and it's cooler.  It has 3 fans running.  In the bios, it shows that the internal temperature is perfect.  The system hangs, relatively in the same place every time, it translates the same error every time, and no matter what I try, it doesn't seem to wrork.

Please help me

It was not the ram, but it could have been the problem.  What was the problem, it was the nodes bit (I don't know their real names) who are sitting under the processor were slightly curved.  Basically the motherboard was more than likely a factory default.
