  They will play in the Photos if you import them directly from your iPhone (without using iCloud).

• Send live images mail appears

  My sent mail images are shown on the message as a cross. I right click and there is no option for the display of the image. Also display it the images at the top of the page is gone. Mail received images are there but not the mail sent. Is it possible to get back so I can view the images sent again.

  I updated my windows live mail and the images show now. Precedents without images have been removed.

• LR4.3's random to destroy my images raw 5DMkIII - why?

  I recently acquired the 5DMkIII and after I imported the RAW images in LR 4.3RC LR, apparently at random, divide an image into rectangles and color with psychodelic colors.  About 700 images of my latest shoot, it happened only 3 or 4, so far.  But it can occur immediately upon import or on a further look at one/image development.  It seems to happen at the time wherever I click on the thumbnail to view or change the image.

  I inserted a sample.  This is an image of a Falcon on a post (the bird is in the center of the image).  In theory, I can you reimport the image of the CF card and hope that it won't happen again (assuming I have not reformatted the card).  Is this a problem with the camera or LR?  He started to perform on the images of Mark III.  I used XT and 40 d 7 d before that without problem.   I would really appreciate any entry on what is happening here.  Thanks for any help!   Dennis

  A final follow-up on this issue.  I appreciate the answers that have been generated on this topic.  Because of course, it's a major problem with my particular body of 5DM 3 - I doubt that any photographer will want a body which chooses randomly which images will be destroyed and which will not.  I falsely accused Lightroom of the origin of the problem at first, but I quickly discovered that the problem appeared also in Digital Photo Professional, Canon raw Editor.  If the problem was not LR.   I imported the RAWs on different PC which had installed Lightroom, using different card readers and USB cables directly from the camera.  In all cases, the corrupted images were still present.  I took a series of shots on another CF card and the new problem happened.  I think about 1 of every 100 pictures were corrupted.  I always format my CF card in the camera before use.  So once the second card also showed the problem, I knew it was the camera.  These two cards have been used for a couple of years in two different bodies of 7 d with no problems. They are Sandisk Extreme 32 GB and 16 GB 60 MB/s, UDMA cards.

  I must say that Amazon.com has superb customer service.  Even if my camera had a little 30 days maximum return policy, they do not hesitate to order me a new camera with delivery estimated Tuesday.  They also put in place one UPS to come to my house to pick up the defective unit and ship it, free to me.  With the camera being so new (not to mention expensive), I didn't want to not pass by the Canon warranty that I probably would have ended with a device repaired or rehabilitated as opposed to a new.  I guess I shouldn't prejudge in their but it's at their discretion, to choose the way of solving the problem.

  At this point, I'm a happy camper.  Maybe some time in the future, this thread will help some other "unlucky" 5DM 3 owner whose unit presents this rare problem.  I was unable to find any mention of what happens online question specific to any other owner of 5DM 3.  If all goes well, there will be none.

  I would like to animate them and all that, the thing is I think I know how to do it, but I'm not sure.

  On the one hand I image I should create a plugin to manage them and a MediaElement to put inside.

  Supposedly this mediaElement (Ads) must run in parallel with the video.

• How to use LIVE images in a flex application

  My application is composed of links to other sites. Currently, these links are in the form of images that are essentially static screenshots of Web sites.

• Overview destroyed files image n & b

  Hello. With the help of OS 10.11.5. iMac 27 "late 2009. 2.66 MHz Intel Core i5. 16 GB of memory.

  When I do something with a single still image (b & w), resize or crop, for example when I check the file after, the image disappeared. I just have a black space and almost zero file size. Total destruction. It seems to only happen with mono images, not color.

  I tried trashing of the preview preferences, start in safe mode and use another user.

  When Googling, I see people have had similar problems with still images when you for example use iMovie and Photoshop, although their questions seem to be a few months old. BUT a Mac specialist friend yesterday reproduces exactly the same problem with Preview on her iMac, with a slightly earlier version of El Capitan - and he has no answers.

  I would be happy to use Photos for these tasks, but there is no resizing option, even with the third-party extensions, that I can see. (For mobile devices, Yes, but not for desktop computers?)

• Muse's automatic image compression is destroying my images.

  I exported a series of drawings to 1000 pixels for the respective long edge, that seems like it should work for most situations.

  I'm experimenting with a slide show full-screen, or full-width, so the final size of the image is somewhat dependent on the users screen size/resolution.

  Without a specific example, it is difficult to speculate more in regards to what you see. See need for the URL of a page and original .jpg that has been placed or imported into Muse. (Screenshots are not useful in this case, since they introduce their own compression artifacts).

• Question on text overlay on an image

  Hi - I'm trying to place a layer of text on a ghost image that I imported into ID of Photoshop.  I mean by 'ghost' image has a fill layer white which has been set at 50% opacity.  ID let not text be layered on top of the imported image, regardless of how many different ways I tried to achieve.  It will allow another image to be superimposed on top of text.  If I place a text block on the letter of even an image and the ghost, the red warning icon type overset text is displayed.

  I tried to apply the text in Photoshop and that works very well until the file is imported in ID, how the text looks awful, which is somehow degraded in transit.  I'm relatively new to the ID and the PS and would appreciate any useful input.

  It seems that the dressing is applied to the image or the image above, or both. Eihter disable it if you don't need it for other reasons, or for the image that you want to use on top of it, open the Options of text block and check the box ignore the skin in the lower left corner.
