  For the passage of a lot of data between OPA and Siebel, I highly recommend using a map of IO. You can find more quickly and also, return xml IO will be easier to deal with.

• CFScript to create tables (using MySQL) and configure it to use InnoDB

  I use a cfscript to create my database and the tables using MySQL, and I was able to DO this with success, accept that I'm having a problem. I want to put my tables use InnoDB instead of MyISAM. How to do this?

  Nevermind, I figured it. I misspelled it.

  ENGINE type = InnoDB... must be before the semicolon.

  I had a problem using a mySQL database remote dreamweaver php development (some tables wouldn't show in the database view). So I decided to install mySQL locally on my development computer.
  
  I use mySQL administrator to manage my databases and do not know how to connect to the new local mysql, I installed?
  
  Since the installation of mysql 5.0, I created not databases etc, so I guess I need to do first to get something to you connect to...?
  
  Secondly, should what details I use to connect:

  I am familiar with the connection to the DW databases, connection strings etc. But when I create a connection that is "successfully tested", the database tables do not show in the window DW database?

  That's why I installed mysql locally, hopefully resolve this issue. However, I could not connect to mysql using mysql administrator to manage. It was my request in the post.

  I now setup users mysql server scripts and a database. Now I can conenct help mysql administrator using the host name 'root', etc..

• How to use the Windows character map with the Arc keyboard?

  When I "Select" and "Copy to Clipboard" character as a checkbox and then enter any rich text field, it is for some unknown reason, out with the bad temper, that I did not choose. I don't think it's related to the Arc keyboard fault, since I do it only with my mouse ArcTouch.

  My "copy to clipboard" feature has always worked well in the past until I installed this Arc keyboard and the copy function continues to operate properly with anything but Windows XP Pro SP3 32 Character Map.

  So I want to try to enter a character by typing the standard code for the character... but the Arc keyboard doesn't have a "Numlock", because it does not have a dedicated digital keyboard and by the statement, you cannot use the number keys "at the top".

  "Product Guide" for the Arc keyboard is not very useful except on how to plug it in 28 languages.

  Is there a work around these two examples?

• Using mysql embedded database fault to purge data

  I'm running foglight 5.6.3 and uses the embedded mysql database.  Currently, we become low on storage and I want to be able to serve data.  The baseline_profile table has more than 14 million lines.  Is it possible to purge certain data in addition to retention strategies?  Thanks for your suggestions.

  What is your political conservation as default? Is there a purge statement? Is storageconfig.xml the default?

  Check tables that are larger to avoid some known bugs (such as the registry or persistable_config table) - basic lines also accumulate cruft I believe, Dmitri sounds on what exactly I'm sure.

• Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 not allowing not offsite (used to work) drive mapping

  My company runs a server that has a shared drive. The car was previously accessible mapping for off site through DNS, but who has recently stopped working. I can map the drive on our local network, and we can reach the server from offsite via Remote Desktop. The computers trying to reach the server running Win 7 Pro.

  When we try to map the drive from off-site, we choose a drive letter and type the server name as https://SERVERNAME on the line 'folder '. When we got finished, it tries to connect, and then we get "Windows cannot access https://SERVERNAME - check the spelling of the name." Otherwise there could be a problem with your network. "When you look at the details, you see" error code: 0 x 80070043, network name could not be found ' it gives you the ability to diagnose, but this utility is unable to identify the problem.

  I tried to Google the error message, problems with mapping and I do not see anything that seems useful. I know very little about the works the mapping of files, so I don't really have a starting point for troubleshooting.

  ETA: I tried to disable the firewall on the server to see if that was the problem and still not connect. He asked for credentials three times, and then returned "access denied" with no further details. Frustrating!

• Using geocoded in a map based on a vision where two data sets are joined

  I would like to create a map based on a view in which two sets of data are joined, where one of the data sets has a column of geocoding.

  Unfortunately this does not work... It seems that a custom view where two sets of data are gathered together where one of them has a geocode column makes the invisible geocode column for the component of the map.

  The following cases work, but we like to combine so that we can combine the different sets of data in the Studio without using the Integrator:

  
  

  -I can create a custom view in which we join two sets of data > the view can be used as a source for component but not the component card (it seems that the geocode column is not found)

  -I can create a custom with a geocode inside column view and that can serve as the source for a map

  What I would like to show, it is that it is possbile to have a data sets from a source system and it's easy to combine an another excel sheet with geo-information and maybe another sheet with different measures of excel. This should be possible since you can collect different sets of data in a custom view.

  In regards to my reading of your EQL, I think you can try to rename the "Particulars" to "Endeca_Klanten.Coordinaten" column in the select clause of Omzet_Geo.

  Although not quite elegant, map requires the geo attribute to have the same name (key attribute, no nickname) as the base view, at least that the custom view will not be picked up by card.

  Hi, am load MySQL data into a table using an ODI 11 g Interface Oracle.

  Interface errors when MySQL view name is longer than 30 characters. Encounter an error "view not found".

  Is it all work around using data source (seen in this case MySQL) warehouses where the data store name is greater than 30 characters, other than to rename the MySQL view in order to have a name of 30 characters max?

  I think that mySQL supports up to 64 characters in the table name. You must update the ODI 11 g topology-> physical Architecture-> Dbl Click on MySQL-> Goto Advanced tab and update the 'Maximum table name length. By default, which is set to 30.

• Drop into the PHP code to connect using MySQL and MyAdmin

  This code should be as common as dirt, but I need help in looking for it. Considering how most of the sites have a mode of connection it surprises me that DW does not have some kind of widget to encode the fundamentals, but I digress.  I have a family site private, accessible by a username / password to a file static login.php. I think of moving to the next level will require the use of MySQL and a database... which seems a bridge too far... However, what I "think" I want to do is... (especially #5)
  

  1. a login for predefined members (40 odd) system using a primary e-mail address as ID.
  2. a connection that has a remember me option
  3. a connection that would show the user the last time that he / she has logged in and how many times.
     
  4. a method of sending an email with the username and password of the user
  5. a method of object defining his username and / or password.
  6. When changes are made an email is sent to me
  7. and... possibly different access levels / permissions, as in, shareholder have full access and no shareholders / clients have access to only a few pages.

  Can point to a location that would have such a code available for a cut and paste the developer... with instructions

  Here's one way you could do it, BUT it seems a lot of work if you have dozens of users - why your passwords/user names contained in the bays and not a database?

  In any case taking the 3 examples you gave above, and assuming that you have sent your username to a 'recover' username and password ' page that has a form on it asking the the e-mail address of the user (gives the name of "email_address" entry field and then submit directly to the next page) : it grabs the value of the field in the form email_address and then checks through the berries if the email address exists. If he sends the user name and password to this email address.

  I guess it's a site of low security keys so that you need not md5 passwords.
